I'm guessing if this was a good idea, you would have already done it, but instead of leaving the spring, the pad, etc., in there, why not just add some thread lock to the adjustment screw, screw it in flush, and then have that whole regulator as an expansion chamber?

Ah yes another keen 👁️ and i love that you noted this. That was my original thought but after struggling successfully to seal the regulator adjuster and using that area as expansion area it proved the easy method (just leaving the spring in) turned out the same results.

What about using a solid spacer instead of the spring. The problem is each time you fires the spring pad will push against the spring so wont that mean that some energy is lost? If theres a solid spacer in the the volume doesnt expand so the gas has to go down the barrel.

Absolutely could use a spacer. Originally i just let the rv pad bump against the velocity screw. There are numerous and possibly better streamlined approaches to accomplish the same goal but in the interests of others I try to reuse what most already have on hand.

I had a question if I bypass the regulator what power is the out put fps and is it good or is it stuck at what setting?

Bypassing is just like winding the velocity adjustment all the way. Nothing more. Your marker will always fire at max power without worrying about the reg spring weakening.

What fps do you get with a stock pepperball gun shooting 8 gram pellets?

Honestly i can recall the fps with a 3g pepperball projectile. It is recommended not to shoot them more then the 300fps factory setting.

I tried this and it didn't work it blows out all the air

Did you replace the original prv setscrew with a solid 10/32 variant and sealed it using thread tape or loctite.
Where is blowing air from? It sounds like you lost an oring somewhere during the process.

    • @jeffliles1209

It didn't say to block the adjustment screw, I think that is where the air is blowing out

@@jeffliles1209 definitely need to block the adjustment screw with a solid setscrew. 10/32 x 1/4 or even 3/8 works. Its just like performing a prv delete so the setscrew must be sealed.

@@lesslethalfordummies I thought that was the problem thank you for the feed back

Ill always try to help if i can. Some videos are older and i may have left out steps assuming people already had gotten that far, but i do apologize if that was the case.
