Just saw this. First time viewer. Keep up the great work. I'm most of the way through building my Marvel Legends Controller build a figure. Can't wait to finish him. The head sculpt is amazing!
Great presentation Pete and Wild Bill. Would be interesting to possibly have a presentation of Marvel characters that either started as villains and then became heroes or vice versa.
Another great Geezer show. Anytime we get to see Jim Starlin art [particularly vintage Starlin] is a treat. Thanks Wild Bill and Pete for the usual fun.
Controller had potential but not much to backstory or motivation for introduction. About as disfigured as Iron Man bodily wise, Controller was in the 1994 Iron Man cartoon. Ron Perlman could portray Controller in the MCU. Stan Lee could have done “troller” justice.
Im watching this for the first time September 2024..& my Marvel Legends Controller BAF i got from eBay just arrived yesterday.. This is just in time..i know Controller but only a little..im down to learn more
how I enjoy the artwrok of Kirby and Starlin. the mod comics don't have this. Don't even get me started on the awful live action remake of The Eternals. And the last comic book story of Eternals might have had some good stories but come on...the artwork doesn't match the old stuff. THANK GOD for our comic book collections, eh friends, Bill and Pete? Thank you ONCE AGAIN for sharing these artful memories with us. Let's cherish what we have, because the books may be the only good thing left of Marvel and DC soon.
Finally he got his own marvel legends baf
This channel really deserves more subscriptions and views.
I love the fact that you guys actually open, read, and show this stuff…. Jim Starlin greatness!!!!! ….. amazing!!!!
He should come back. He could be a good villain for a number of MCU characters.
The pose of the Controller in Iron Man #13 reminds me of the Juggernaut's in Dr. Strange #182 in a somewhat reverse way
yeah, thats what I LOVE ABOUT COMIC BOOKS. the sound effects: "KRAKKG!" and "Unnhhn!"
Terrans are earthlings
Look out, Wild Bill...
Ooofph, the Intoxicated Man stepped on my Onomatopoeias!!!
The Controller sounds like a bad Wrestling Gimmick from WWF in the 80s LOL

What a great name for a villain!

Wow. I hadn't thought about the Controller in decades. Thanks for bringing back memories of this classic villain!
Thanks for the summary ! I just finished building the marvel legend figure and I had no idea who he was.
He fought Iron Msn agsin during Armor Wars and Captsin America during the Acts of Vengance storyline.
