ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

In the comics, Thanos does help the Controller with his weapons and being an underrated Iron Man villain, I still think he does look cool like Iron Monger, Titanium Man, Whiplash, Crimson Dynamo, Mandarin, Gray Gargoyle, Dreadknight, Fantastic review as always Shartimus because you always do the best for us collectors.
Which is why the Controller looks like Thanos.

This is the first BAF I completed and after completing him, I gotta say he really grew on me and after doing a little digging on his character OH MAN IS HE A SCUMBAG. I think it was Avengers Unplugged #5 where he mind controls Photon and does some shit to her! Y'all gotta check that out, they would never do that kind of thing today.
So I did check it out, and now he’s on my list of marvel characters that need to get kicked in the family jewels! The first one was Purple man. To think I was going buy the Controller, thanks for the heads up. I’m going buy Attuma.

This figure has really grown on me 💙 Reading the early iron man run again, he was easily my favorite villain, and his head is much more suited to this body than the too-small Thanos heads.
To nobody's surprise, the all new sculpt with the most value in box is the best figure of the lot
He's an Iron Man villain who has what appears to be a cult following him around, but they're actually slaves controlled by his mind discs. We got upgrade technology from Thanos that's why his armor looks so similar. Hasbro makes so many figures using the same body molds, but it irks me a little bit when people say this is just the same mold as the Thanos figure. If you look at the shape of the muscles and details of the sculpt, you can clearly see the musculature is different. The contours of the armor seem to be different also. I still don't have all my build a figure pieces to examine it personally, but from the videos I've seen there are different sculpts despite sharing the same overall aesthetic.
PS we need more Iron Man villains! Unicorn, the traditional and original version of Ghost, and a Dreadnought from the Maggia/Hydra.
8.- Viper: Actually like it but nothing new and old body.
7.- Speedball:Love Speedball and New Warriors but no accesories is unforgivable.
6.- Blue Marvel: Glad to have him at last, just more excited for everyone elde.
5.- Controller: Solid BAF bringing exposure to an obscure character, good presence.
4.- Quake: I care little for both Quake or Maria but I love the kitbashing potential, this figure already gave me 2 awesome SHIELD outfit Black Widows.
US Agent: Yeah basically a repaint but OH MAN I just LOVE US Agent and I'm so excited over finally getting his comic version. I got one to display as is and one I decked out with pistol shoulder holsters, gun belt and guns and an optional GI Joe Duke head for an unmasked John Walker.
2.- Iron Man: All new, all badass. Bro, Alex Ross designed this jawn, 'nuff said!
1.- Couldn't be anyone other than HERALD THOR, that all new sculpt is all I need to justify this placing. A badass figure for a Thor boasting his own might+the Odinforce+ The Power cosmic!
Nice BAF. I honestly am not familiar with him, but reeeaaally good fodder parts. This and the upcoming Puff Adder will be great for big customs.
To answer your question about the Thanos figure I really do like it but I just wish it came with a neutral head.

What's the reused parts on the new Puff Adder baf? Everything but the head looks reused.
The Controller was my first BAF ever, The wave wasn't too bad. I really liked Blue Marvel, US Agent and and Speedball was the best from that wave

I'm with u on thanos not being as much fun as I wanted him to be. I think it's the lack of arm articulation with him plus I feel he could be a bit taller just 4 photographs. Still happy I have him but ya it's weird he feels likes he's missing something but dk what. A thrown would've been sick with him though

I like that Thanos figure but I really wish it came with a head that wasn’t so goofy looking.
the lack of effects with Speedball was such a bummer
I agree on Thanos, I like the figure but not as much as I wanted to. I wish he came with a grinning head sculpt, a neutral head sculpt, and was maybe a little bigger. Better articulation would have been good too. I like getting new 616 characters but Controller was a little too obscure for me, didn’t even know the character’s name before this wave. Overall pretty lackluster wave imo, most were executed fairly well but no absolute must haves. I’ll probably get the few I want loose or on sale
It's cool to add new characters to the shelf but this one doesn't look outstanding to me. Maybe if I could have him in hand he would be better. But answering to your thanos question? I LOVE this figure till this day It's one of my favorites in the collection, he is outstanding, big really good portray of mad titan especially the head. IMO this is the best comic book thanos we have ever had. Only things I would like to change: give him two opened hands and instead of king thanos mad or calm classic thanos headculpt. I think you can pose him very well even if he is not that kind of dynamic character.
And my ranking of this wave? Kinda tough one but it will be ranked by which character I liked the most to I don't care XD
8. Is blue marvel because well I didn't really know anything about this character and I don't know doesn't look special to me.
7. Madame Hydra Viper she is second last but at least I know something about her and even if she doesn't have double jointed elbows and pinless tech she looks good IMO or at least acceptable
6. US. Agent same figure is good but again nothing special to me.
5. Maria Hill / Quake because we needed new Maria Hill for a really long time there is something about this head which looks to me really like her somehow, and Quake another new character and she does have cool gloves XD.
4. Speedball don't know much about this character but he really has outstanding design and it was portrayed very well. Such a shame he didn't have some effects though.
3. Controller even if he kinda has nothing special again but they nailed the head and overall the entire figure. The bigger the better for me and those discs on his hand they can be useful and it's better than nothing.
2. Iron man. I'm always happy with new armors to add to hall of armor, and this iron man has new bodymold, good sculpting and which is outstanding looks more like a robot because of the helmet with this kinda jaw and those lights on arms and legs and he is bulkier + accessories like fists and opened repulsor blast hands with hinge, blast effects and smokes which does looks cool for me.
1. And suprisingly for me number one is Herald Thor. At first I did not care for this design but when I saw him fighing with knull how powerfull he is, and this outstanding design with armor those spikes, cape turning from purple into red, no helmet but he has this little crown? and lond hair, highlited eyes and like you said he does have everything he needed, mjolnir, lightning effect, crows and other hands. And when I heard about this Thor who is herald of galactus I'm really interested and looking forward to read some comics about him.

I just hate those designs for blue marvel and Thor, blue marvel only goes higher because he's a new character for my shelf. Only got Thor for the ravens and the baf piece.

You don't like Thanos that much maybe because Hasbro didn't gave another alt head with smirking or neutral face.

I agree with you on thanos. I mean its THANOS. Hes huge, I wouldve expected a much more impressive figure. His articulations pretty bad, im not a fan of his boots they look so stubby and short, and i feel like they couldve done better with the paint. Its fine, but I expected more
Can't rank them as I didn't buy the entire wave. I bought Madame Hydra, USAgent, and two Quakes. And out of those, Madame Hydra is at the bottom of the list (I agree with all the issues and critiques but I am still happy to have it, I think it's better than the previous one and I like the character). Next is USAgent... mediocre figure. Quake is a great figure, glad to have her and a new Maria Hill.

BAF’s never used to come with extra hands and yet you being the constant nitpicker you are is never satisfied…
I'm not going to build this whole wave, But to me, My ranking is...
1. Alex Ross Iron Man because that is another badass design
2. US Agent because the one on the Bucky Cap mold was meh
3. Madame Hydra because she is beautiful despite not having pinless double jointed elbows
4. Speedball is cool but definitely needed his powers
5. Blue Marvel because he was definitely needed
6. Quake/Maria Hill is awesome for female SHIELD army builders
7. Thor because he is not the good guy Thor we know and love
8. The Controller
I liked the added reasoning for each pick. :0)
His head is sitting too high, he looks really awkward. I ended up dremmeling it a bit lower and it looks much better.
Controller is the best i hope so to see him in the mcu
