Still 38% Battery and Ive watched you tube, made calls extc. It pays to do the research I went to Toms hardware for best battery phones in 2023. That Flip samsung looked nice to though!
Im one of those people who get the phone and change everything The lack of customizable options annoys me I like cool fonts, widgets and apps with a sorts of themes I can use secondary apps but i really thought i could do a moving background or widet on the external display All stupid things but when you pay more for a phone than a laptop I'd like to at least change things
@@eliseosaavedra9550 You can't with the preset phone apps But I found an app that lets you change that so I can have any gif as a background Downside is it is a tad bit glitchy but once I unlock the external screen I still get full function of my apps and such Some issues are it can take two taps to unlock with my thumb And the time is kinda off by +/- 10 minutes
Not bad! Still an OLED and slightly lower resolution, so easier on battery. 144Hz instead of the 165 on the main display as well, but it's a battery savings for sure.
It's it funny when Blackberry Passport came out all the haters claimed square screen was dumb and now most say it's great 😂 BB Passport is the greatest designed phone to date.
I am glad that manufacturers are starting to put bigger outer displays on their flip phones. This is great for people who want the best of both worlds in terms of a small and large phone.
I stick with that the RAZR plus is the better looking one. But the flip 5 might had the right idea with their outside screen because it doesn't seem to cut anything off like the DMs and such.
I love this phone, but I hate its opening mechanism, which is very stiff. It should have been spring assistant, to push a button and the phone opens up. If it weren't that stiff, I would keep it, but planning to return it. External display is fine and all my apps I use perfectly scale on it, except Google navigation does not scale well on it. About 10mm of navigation screen the the rest are controls, next turn, and other crap.
It’s amazing how all the big screen phone geeks are so impressed by this small screen. Most want to do everything in this small space. Jobs must be laughing hard! What’s the android support on this phone?
Great video, but maybe slowdown whne scrolling so we cannsee what text and posts actually look like. I am kind of hoping a company will come out with an extremely compact phone around this size.
I'm having trouble opening my Razr+ with one hand. Coming from the Razr 5G where it was very easy to open with one hand, I wanted to ask another user, how difficult is it for you to open the Razr+ with one hand???
I dont have Option for full Screen , i dont know why . I have all aktivate Like Apps for full Screen . I make a restart or hard reset but Not Chance . Is my Phone broken or i have a Software Bug ?
So my message app was in full screen in the external display but all off a sudden it's not in full screen nor does not have an option to make full screen 9r default for that matter.
The fact that it reduces the amount of time I have to open the flip is a win win for me….as we know Samsung has had lots of screens crack on their flips.
@@mrmeeks222 use fingerprint and face .... it works excellent and fast. you can use 5 diff fingers to unlock. 1st phone I ever used fingerprint lock because its so fast and nice :)
Not a fan of this phone. I hate that they got rid of the chin on the bottom that the first 2 designs had. It gave them a really distinct look. Now this looks like every other foldable on the market

Hey, try just holding the gesture pill to swap between full screen and smaller one on the external. It's even faster

Press and hold the home bar on the external display to switch between full screen and default view without out press and hold up.

It's not that it's impressive it's the versatility. The small outside screen is good when running for example maps. While cycling.

Yes, you do. You can set it to that. But you can read them on the external display.

Not bad, actually, been getting over 6 hours everyday.
its pretty good . can get 7 hours if youre using the small screen more and battery saver. youtube looks good on the small screen also.
excellent I get about 28 hrs with my location off which can all be done on external display, rarely need to use internal for anything
When I use navigation I don't use the display on my phone I use the one on my dashboard

Does anyone know if its possible to unlock the phone using a password on the external display?
Yes, if it doesn't detect a fingerprint it will put up a pin pad.
@@StevealiciousTech I use password lock. And it asks me to flip open the phone to unlock.. kinda defeata the purpose of having a clamshell

I like the phone, but it's 1200 euros in Croatia, and Samsung Flip is 900 euros. So, I guess, no contest?
That does make it tough, yeah, but you do give up that entire display.
