1. The Horse and Sparrow Theory 00:00 2. The Birth of Tragedy 03:42 3. There's Blood on the Streets 07:27 4. We Fail 09:28 5. Fires Below 16:06 6. The Sea and Poison 19:16 7. Hell is Full of Good Intentions 20:59 8. Revenge of Our Fathers 24:05
From bandcamp - "The track “We Fail” features a sample from speaker Brigadier General Stephen Cheney from the Swedish Institute of Internal Affairs, UI Podcast, episode “The Climate Change and Security - Nexus”. Pretty scary that even the military acknowledges the impending societal collapse as a result of climate change.
This literally sounds like 100 other bands currently on Relapse, but hey at least it's a better bet than that Ceremony new wave horseshit backfire from last week.
@@HomeOnDeranged well I guess in that regard much like any other business, they dont like to take risks (which is ironic all things considered). They know what will sell, they know the formula, and they like to stick with it to keep their business going. But remember, Relapse gave us Mastodon, High On Fire, and Baroness in their prime. So somebody at Relapse must know what theyre doing.

Who is the speaker at 4. We Fail 09:28 ?
U.S. army general Stephen Cheney, speaking about possible military threats caused by the climate change
Who is talking in the song "We Fail"? I'd love to hear more of what he's saying.

I know its so weird, its almost like Relapse is an underground extreme metal label or something?
Yeah the only music that is good is bands that sound like every other death metal and grindcore band ever

Surprise goodmusic lovemusicart
Tolerable but too much reverb and kinda doomish, just not my bag. Worth a listen through at least.
