Jesse and I are 1968 graduates of Martin High School in Laredo, Texas. We didn't hang around but I still remember her vividly. She was always very friendly. She is smart. Enjoy your retirement girl.
I’m going to miss you Jesse. I remember meeting you at the H‑E‑B on San Pedro & Oblate you were shopping and took the time to talk to my mom and I. You are so sweet. I pray only the best for you.
The same thing happened to my grandmother, her first born passed away and was buried by my grandfather and his brother, and my grandmother never knew where the baby was buried. She never even got to name him or see him. It has always broken my heart. On the other hand, I have tears in my eyes for Mrs. Jesse, I want her to know how much I adore and admire her. Watching her on TV all my life was like seeing a favorite Tía and I felt so proud that someone who looked like us was on TV and giving us important information. Someone who could pronounce our names correctly...my heart is full of love for you ❤Te extrañaré más que palabras podrán decir❤❤❤❤ QDTB siempre❤
Look at route 12 box 320 Southton road. There is a old grave yard with graves back to the late 1800s there is a kids section also. It was a community centenary. I grew up in front of it and played and hung out in it for years. As a teen my brother myself and some family members of a man that lived on southern his whole life was buried there. I helped dig his grave
Hmmm 🤔 I wonder how the family lost the land, to end it being sold to the man who bought it 30 years ago. The news got a letter 3 years ago. 🤔 we didn’t have cameras around or in the tv station 3 yrs ago? You can make your land yours forever if you bury you family there 🤔 or something like that 🤓
Looking up historical places like this one is truly incredible because people care enough to put time and effort into linking them together.
Aww I've grown up watching Jesse since I was little I'm going to miss her .

Great segment!❤
In Bandera Tx there is a old slave cemetery that recently was cleaned up fixed by clearing brush

I can't imagine the thought behind never letting a mother know where her baby is buried.

You need to investigate the Wetmore cemetery that is hidden by overgrowth from the trees. It's hidden between a quarry and the railroad tracks.
