    Wow, I'm glad I found your channel. New into the Guppies and your channel is the best and most informative I've seen. Please let me know how to order your Guppy food. I currently have Red Dragon Dumbo mosaics. Me , my wife and my daughter love them.
    Sorry it's a long comment but wanted to mention to you that yesterday we went to a specialty fish store and when I asked one of the employees about the baby brine shrimp if they are good for my Guppies was told that they have very little nutritional value and people use them as treats once in a while. I watched your video and you've mentioned that they are the best food for the Guppies. I trust your opinion over their's after watching some of your videos. It's funny though how some people get misled. Can't wait to watch some more of your videos.
    Take care. 😁

      Saso P. thanks so much for watching and the very kind comments! The live bbs has very high nutritional value just after it hatches. I think any guppy book you can read will tell people to use live bbs daily. Your red dragon dumbo ears probably have reddish tailed females. The red mosaics have blue tailed females. You can email me at greydmail at yahoo.com.

    Does grindal worm good for guppies? Thanks! From PH again 🥰

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  5 лет назад

      They are probably very good for them. I just can never keep the colony alive so I gave up on grindals and microworms etc.

      Get a strain that you love. Buy from a breeder like Doug. It will serve you very well. Doug has amazing advice. Join the International Fancy Guppy Association.

    Saw me fry trying to eat a root about 3 times hes size, was about to take 'm out but everything went wel.
    Why would you feed them adult frozen brine shrimp when you give them baby brine shrimp?

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  4 года назад +1

      Thanks for watching! I try to be careful and feed the fish they won't choke on because as you saw thery will try to eat anything! The adult brine shrimp is good for the fish protein wise and also acts as a laxative, cleans out their digestive system.

      @@DGrey Was a huge succes, me guppies went crazy for the baby brine shrimp, hatched after 36 hours without using baking soda. (tap water is 7.5 ph)
      Bought some eggs and frozen shrimp the other day, they still gotta get used to having the food in the water instead of the surface.
      But once they tasted it ...
      Amazing videos, keep them coming!

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  4 года назад +1

      That's fantastic! Live baby brine shrimp is the best thing for them. Live daphnia is great too but it's not seen much around here in stores.

    Weirdly, I am extremely allergic to bloodworms. Live ones, Frozen ones, and dried ones bring up terrible reactions. Is there bloodworm content in your guppy food? I think that would be a deal-breaker for me, anyway!

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  5 лет назад

      I get the same reaction actually. No bloodworms in the hi protein food.

    Hey dude.. Can i raise my guppy in the side of my house.. But they cant get any sunlight.. But its outdoor

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  5 лет назад

      Thanks for watching! As long as the temperature is between 68 degrees F and 80 the guppies do well. The higher the temp, the higher their metabolism gets and they don't live as long of a life.

    Not a fan of bloodworm?

    • @DGrey
      @DGrey  5 лет назад

      I use the frozen bloodworms but I have to wear gloves. I get an allergic reaction from em, itchy. I'm just fearful that the fish will choke to death on them. I had that happen with a young colony of albino cories. My fault for not chopping the worms up.
