Should we make more vlogs ?
Yeah, of course
Yes
Yeah, now that Bald & Bankrupt is banned we need vlogs lol...
Jokes aside, There's rarely Russian vloggers for english yt. This isnt just a vlog, but also a review that felt welcoming and casual. Great work!
And in my life i want to have an international understanding which provides key to happiness 😊😊🤝🤝
Next time I go to Starbucks, I'm gonna order an "American cookie" 🤣🤣🤣
Whoa, that coffee cost $6.50?
That’s more than it costs in America at Starbucks.
You can get the same coffee in the USA at Starbucks for less than $4.
Great vid! 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
and a stamp validation or scan to park for free at the nearby parking structure.
It’s more expensive in China 🇨🇳
You can get even better coffee in Russia for 2$. Starbucks sucks. Don't know why people are even buying one.
I was really hoping Timati would name it Black Star Coffee, which would be a perfect name that’s better that Black Star Burgers
In Indonesia, Starbucks has had a capable competitor Excelso, for a long time. Excelso is a local brand coffee shop here.
In Russia Starbucks has no competition in being crappy. Maybe Nescafe Gold is worse. Everything else is better than this 2.
I like it!
It looks like a good alternative to American franchises, obviously it will boost the Russian economy.
It's too bad Timati, the rapper, didn't name the coffee shop "Kosmos Kafe" using a circular logo of the first Russian cosmonaut who walked in space, using his [circular] helmet as the central figure with the name of the cafe in the Cyrillic alphabet. Or something just as originally Russian : for example, in English, Peoples' Cafe (phonetically, in Russian, "Kafe Ludgi"). And why so many coffee types? Why not create something more like a cafe in Vienna in the Russian style? Russian cakes and pastries and sandwiches are delicious! Write Timati a letter! What was he thinking? Why imitate what was there before when he could have created something that represents the Russian culture or homeland? If Timat is a [musical] artist then he failed when given this opportunity. The two examples that immediately came to my mind, written above, can be used by any Russian in Russia without attribution. Best wishes from me for a peaceful resolution of the war and prosperity for all Russians. Spasibo!
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness. - Oscar Wilde.
@Reptilian Network News better to have a rusian coffee than an American one
That's the same crappy Starbucks with the same owners with only a name changed for shallow virtue signaling.
Starbuck is crap to begin with.
Frankly, I don't understand why there is such a fuss about McDonald's and Starbucks leaving. It can hardly be considered essential. However, the real problem is the employees. If I understand correctly, McDonald's had about 60,000 employees in Russia. What happened to them? Are the equivalent businesses sponsored by the Russian state to keep unemployment down? Has every employee found a job with these new replacements?
They stayed at their current jobs. Think about all of this as nothing more than rebranding + McDonalds losing future ties. Same employees, same food, same pay, same customers.
@@ericolirn8396 MC Donald’s was rewarded for leaving Russia by the Stock markets .as well as other companies.
For McDonald's I think that most would agree that loosing the ability to savor a Big Mac is no disaster. However loosing a model company like McDonald's and it's processes is a huge loss. I doubt that either McDonald's or Tasty Period will be available in Russia in 5 years time.
You don't understand it cause in other civil and normal countries McDonald's is shit for poor people. In Russia it's really good with good structure and environment plus good food so many ppl like to have a lunch here, spend their time, just have some fun with friends. It's more than just a fastfood here in Russia.
@@gregdk3791 what model does McDonald's offer the other food chains don't? FFS, it wasn't exactly popular in Russia and never made it to the eastern part of the country as there were better food places with better business models already by the point McDonald's cared to expand. That's just a drop in a sea, and a rotten one. Nothing to miss.
Funny. The employees seem disconnected but the people you interviewed seem much more willing than anyone in America. Knockoff business but good luck. Maybe you can close Burger King and rename it Burgereh Tsar. LOL.
Yeah it's hilarious. They kept their people employed, maintained a successful business and made sure all the money stays in Russia. It's a massive win on all fronts for the Russians. Keep crying nafocuck
Enjoy your second class coffee 😂 lll stick to the real stuff.
Справедливости ради, в Страрбакс можно пить только моку =)

@@StreetTalkGlobal не очень, но спасибо за предложение 🤠
i am surprised how american the menu still is, just like what they did to mcdonalds. it’s like they are trying to preserve the menu from the west with all the other changes they have made. but how is the wifi?
Don't know why are you surprised. Same owners, same business model, same crap. Only logo and name slightly changed so the Twitter crowd would think Starbucks left Russia. They didn't.
The reason for that is because the Western companies that had to leave due to the sanctions, "sold" the business to Russian companies, so when the war and sanctions are over they'll buy them back, and continue to operate in Russia normally. That's why they're keeping the businesses as they were just changing some things
Why wouldn't they do that? It's the same business but now owned by Russians instead of foreigners. Why would they change something that's already popular? Just keep it unchanged as much as possible and rake in the money
Могло быть хуже) Вкусно и точка
It's pathetic how they copy the "Rotten West".
Its rebranded
Also, I think it would be more proper in English to use "knockoff" rather than "rebranding". Just some suggestions.
Except the owners and the business are the same and this is really just a rebranding to trick the Twitter crowd.
@@cianakril Oh ok...so you think they use the Starbucks products?
@@Robert_Sparkman_01 I don't think. I know. Same with the new "totally not McDonald's".
@@cianakril Well, we westerners have left our colonizing influence. 😁😁😁😁
@@Robert_Sparkman_01 a crappy influence that was already struggling before and won't last long now as the name was the main driving force for this places and now when the name has gone people will be judging food for what it is, probably with even more prejudice it's "not original". Just trying to squeeze few more rubles while being pressured by both Russian and US government out of the Russian market.
Love this new format ! Greetings from France 🇫🇷 🇷🇺
Show more Indian stuff we will make you famous.
Much better than Starbuck 👍
more money for Russian economy anyway.
ruzzian lemmings marching to the lake...nothing will change...unless.
Are young Russians ready for the military mobilization? Because the situation forces us to consider this reality. It would therefore be interesting to have their opinions on the subject.

Sad thing about it is that another Putin oligarch get super wealthy because of this.

This must be a joke. It is demonstrably false on a dozen levels
I would expect more compassion for Ukrainians from someone who lives in a country that has been subject to imperialism in the past.
so Ukraine, part of Russia, has now become a victim of Western imperialism, if not for Western countries, then Ukrainians have long lived in peace and have been reunited with their historical homeland.
@@user-ke6ts9id8h Russia is the only European country to have acquired territories after the Second World War, and you accuse others of imperialism. Russian truth.
@@user-ke6ts9id8h Ukraine wants no part in russia. What don't you understand. Just because they were forced to be part of USSR doesn't mean they like it. They are an independent sovereign country. Leave them be in peace .
