I've got some pretty old relics laying around, some of which used to be Void Keys back in the day, if vaulted Primes are an issue. I'd be happy to crack a few and pull ye olde "entire Prime set for an unranked Common mod" trade, though of course that would take a while and isn't a guarantee. I've also got a couple almost-complete sets and some rarer components that might at least make acquiring the full set faster or cheaper for you.
I wouldn't mind getting footage of all warframes for you if you need, it would be fun to help out. I'm also an experienced player so I can explain how absolutely stupid some of their powers can stack and build up.

@@drakobloodwing540 Survival mission long runs you count KPM(kills per minute) in the hundreds so, with Saryn you could slay a 300 person ship in about 2 minutes if not less. You could slay thousands in 10 minutes and the warframe won't even break a sweat. It's not even fair to compare them with most sci-fi universes. It's like putting a space marine against an Alien from AvP. It's just no contest.

Imagine you hear there's a intruder attack, run to some hallway and see a 2,5 meter tall metal guy with corpses behind either frozen, electrocuted, burnt or dissolved from toxin walking in your direction. I'd crap my pants honestly.

Chroma is kind of OP simply because he’s a murder machine that keeps going as long as bodies are dropping. Mods are considered canon to the lore, so a Chroma minmaxing in Vex Armor would melt through ceramite like butter, with the right weapon/s. He sounds like a bad choice because the rest of his kit isn’t terribly impressive, until you realize his vex armor multiplies his damage/armor anywhere from 200% to 1000% depending on how much you believe game mechanics apply. When you combine that with base Tenno strength (cutting mofos in half, ground slams), and agility (cutting high velocity projectiles out of the air, bullet jumps) he’s basically a bullet-dodging Wolverine on crack.
@@MarcusVanceYou also have to take into account that Arcanes too are canon. And one in specific triggers healt regeneration on damage and its potency is tied to ones total health which sinergizes with Chromas Elemental Ward that buffs total amount of Chromas health. You basically have a walking tank that regenerates its damaged tissue in rapid succession.

Ah yes, Saryn. The warframe that legitimately wouldn't have to fight a single enemy to win. Remember the order and the toxin will spread so far so fast that they'd barely register the attack before everyone was infected. Then just watch in eldritch horror as she walks through a ship of dead and dying.

What i find ironic about Chroma is his reliance on the strength of his enemies - he would technically be less dangerous against 300 Guardsmen than 300 Space Marines because the Guardsmen are not firing what is the equivant of a Kuva Tonkor on crack. While warframes have the inherent benefit of their elemental offensive abilities being inherently void powered (basically the Warp but more singular), there would also be the issue of a Warframe's speed. Even assuming that his electric breath only tickled their electronics, his frost breath barely slowed them down, his heat breath just made them toasty, and his toxin breath just gave them a mild cough, Chroma would still be able to smack them in the bits and run circles around them like a cosplying Harlequin
A bolter is still just an anti-personnel weapon canonically. Probably closer to the basic Acceltra, though with half the magazine size and likely a slightly lower fire rate. Just enough mods to get some blast damage. But yeah, basic Warframe stuff would make them tough even without powers or mods.
Remember canonically space marines move at superhuman speeds. The speed difference would actually be fairly small, they'd be able to keep up with a warframe quite effectively, it may move faster than them but they'd be able to track it and keep sights on it the entire time, their reaction speed is that fast. As for other things, sure a bolter may not be over the top powerful against a frame, it's still going to blow chunks out of one with a hit. As for psykers, be real, all warframe void abilities are low end psyker powers, the void is like a really tame version of the warp with a fraction of the power. Sure its more focused and easier to control and tenno have essentially mastered it, but its the comparison of sticking your foot in the warp wereas an astarties psyker has gone for a swim. They may quite litterally melt the tenno by accident, the frame would be fine, the tenno back on the dropship not so much.

The entire warframe universe is litterally 2 solar systems (one of which no human has ever stepped foot in, only the Sentients) and a tiny fraction of the void. The feats of warframes while impressive are also not that great in most circumstances as they are done against base humans and not something of actually impressive strength (wiping out an army of a few hundred base humans is nothing to write home about), a few feats are impressive I admit, time stopping for example is amazing, but generally they aren't overly powerful, and vitally most of them in their lore got dead fighting base humans or infested. Now if we go with 40k lore and not tabletop or games, an Astarties is (espeically a named Astarties) insanely powerful too, many capable of taking on thousands of base humans and if given time capturing an entire planet alone (if there are no superhumans, deamons, necrons, eldari, tau, orks, or other major players present). Your asking a warframe to fight 300 of them, each of which has over 100 years of combat experience (far more than the tenno) and vitally know something no enemy in warframe does, how to fight in melee effectively (including how to block, parry and vitally tie up a weapon with their own or even their own body if needbe). Also they don't drop energy or ammo when killed, warframe will rapidly run out of both. Oh and for an example of how fast an Astarties can be, they can dodge bullets (and some beams), they kindof have to, their enemies fire ones largee and powerful enough to turn normal humans into clouds of red mist (or in the case of the necrons, melt them at the subatomic scale). Now consider the scenario, boarding a battlebarge will have 3 named astarties atleast as they tend to carry 3 companies, meaning 3 captains, and maybe even a chapter master, definitely a handful of librarians, some armour, maybe if it's the 1st company as many as 100 terminators, and probably a handful of dreadnoughts. Oh and a few thousand imperial many arms men. Oh and this all assumes they get aboard, the tenno's orbiter and dropship is not getting close, a battlebarge can track them from the other side of the solar system and shoot them from nearly as far away (using lore remember, 40k ships are insanely powerful), the archwing may get closer but even a glancing blow kills it and its slow, it'd take litterally years to fly between were the orbiter had to launch it and the battlebarge, and the battlebarge flies faster than it does. Oh and even if it does get close enough, how is it going to board the battlebarge, it can't penetrate the void shields, no weapon in the warframe universe has shown that level of destructive power yet. Now if we go to tabletop/games rather than lore for both, the warframe actually gains the advantage but is still so outnumbered and outgunned that it's a suicide mission in most respects. Only limbo really has a chance then, and then only because it can slip into the rift were 40k units can't hurt it. In reality it's not a case of the warframe killing Astarties, it could with some difficulty, it's a case of it been able to survive been hit by them and it frankly can't. A good way to compare them is a standard astarties is a lvl 600 Fire Bombard Eximus (you can kill them, its just challenging), a named Astarties is a lvl 800 Fire Bombard Eximus, a Terminator is a lvl 2000 Necramech Eximus, a named Terminator is a lvl 2500 Necramech Eximus, oh and they are all inside an unbreakable Nullifier bubble it a Libririan is still present aboard ship (and they are, and the doors to them are locked and you can't hack them, they have to choose to let you in). The named characters and any other melee equipped units also block/parry 75% of your attacks and counter with a hit that has a 80% chance to be instantly fatal. The nercramechs block 100% of attacks (they don't parry, that would just break your melee weapon) and all their attacks are instantly fatal. Oh and a dreadnought is the profit taker orb, except smaller, faster, way more agressive (it will actively hunt you, and there can be several at once), and with multiple instant kill attacks if it lands them regardless of your frames abilities due to how devastating they are, in fairness it has no sheilds but you need an archwing weapon to hurt it, one which you can't deploy remember. Oh and this would also be a mission were no enemy drops any ammo, energy or health and you can't respawn or use support abilities. Sure it could be done, but it'd be easier to clear all of the steel path at the same time with an unmodified Excalibur, boar and Bo (I've tried a single mission like that, I was bored, it can be done but it's very luck dependant, and I cheated alot using operator abilities).

Ceramics are both hard and heat resistant, which is probably why the Astartes use it for their plating. However, under certain conditions ceramics go through a process known as Delamination, where they lose their cohesion and literally crumble into powder. What are those conditions, I hear you ask? Sudden temperature drops and/or exposure to extreme Cold. Now remind me, what was one of Chroma's available elements?

This makes ceramite especially effective at providing protection against directed-energy and particle-based weapons.

The difference is also with Heat ward, he's basically a walking mini sun at that state. Dispersing focus fire is one thing what about dispersing heat when there's nothing in the area to divert the heat to. There's laser fire and then theres chucking someone at a walking oven.

I mean if the abilities would translate 1=1 from the game, cold elemental ward would be so OP in 40k universe as it reflects all projectiles back to the shooter. (even continuous laser beams) So whatever you shoot at chroma will come back to you and somehow magically freeze you too even if its fire based attack.
Well yeah she can, she has full control of the concept of magnetism. As shown as how she can magnetize fully organic enemies. And she can store technically an infinite amount of force in her magnetize too.
I think the thing we all forget in Warframe is that the Grineer, while mentally degraded from the cloning process, are *already* a class of engineered supersoldier a la space marines. I mean sure, the average lancer isn't going to be taking down any of the marines (they aren't as extremely enhanced as the marines), enemies like the Nox or the tubemen, Kuva Trokarians, or the stronger varieties of ghouls are definitely comparable in everything except training and weaponry. And let's not forget that the warframes were able to cleave through waves of highly trained, well armed supersoldiers (the Dax) during the Old War. Ig what I'm saying is, it's not a question of *if* a warframe could clear out a ship full of space marines. It's more about how quickly and how easily they could do it. Basically, they'd juat be another enemy faction on the starchart. Harder to deal with than the chumps like the Grineer and Corpus, but manageable all the same.
The elemental ward can also hit enemies with high voltage attacks when they hit his shield and with ice will flat out return to sender weapons fire on him. It also will increase his armor
Not jsut those, his Elemental Ward is what makes anything near him die. Toxin outrights deals 5% of the total health of an enemy per tick. with 100% status chance meaning that 5% would be on a DoT cleaving their health to shreds. heat damage while boosting his health, destroys the armor of anything near him. in a 15 meter radius without mods. 30 meters at 200% range. So yeah not only are they gonna worry about Archon Continuity + 14 corrosive stacks from his breath removing all of their armor. Anything infront of him would die and anything that isn't would be too weak or dead.
At first glance it seemed impossible for a warframe to do this given how powerful space marines are, but if you get into warframe's abilities (god forbid they put mesa on that ship 0_0) then you start to realize that it's just another day at the office for them
The non-augmented humans would be roughly equivalent to grineer butches but even weaker. Space marines would be roughly equivalent to bombards but faster and smarter The librarians would be roughly equivalent to eximus units though without overguard. Theres 2-3 per company times 3 companies which is around 9 librarians. So 40 000 butchers, 300 bombards, and 9 eximus bombards. Yeah I think we could take those on.
Even Grineer butchers are super soldiers in their own right. Crudely augmented, yeah, but still strong enough to cut through the advanced metal bodies of the Warframes. Still strong enough to subjugate the people of Earth with incredibly little resistance.
It's been speculated that the reason some Grineer are made butchers and some are made bombards is how well the cloning went. Because they are for the most part combat ready soon as they are out of the tube coming from one single individual's stock at the start. Lowest grades are made workers, barely passing grades are the melee shock units, higher Intel are usually tubed up as organic controllers in their systems, and high physicals are made into their leading elites. Also female clones always outrank most male clones due to the matriarchy of the queens, highest positions and best fed are the royal guards, other examples that female units who are of sufficient combat grade at minimal are heavy gunners, and female clones are generally piloting all the heavier fighter craft and transports. We also don't know who the template for the female clone came from but likely the queens doing.

Man if you think about it Warframes would easily be a sort of Warp Faction in 40k. Not Chaos aligned but just beings made from the Warp, since they're sorta Voidmade in regular lore. Either way Warframe and 40k would be an interesting cross over id like to see in Warframe and whatever 40k live service game.

there's few scenarios in Sci-fi where Warframes and Oerators have issues dealing with stuff that is from outside the Warframe universe the name literally states what they're built for, and even the ones that barely fit the "war" part are not fucking around; they may not kill you, but you'll wish they could after a while.
Some are not even built for war, like Protea being made to be a bodyguard, Dagath being made as an orokin's attempt to bring back their pet dax soldier. But all the same, they can kill in one way or another
I love astartes but a base chroma with a skana mk1 could wipe an entire battle barge. Warframes are just so absurdly overpowered in lore it’s insane. Then you also have prime versions which are basically gods. The scaling in warframe lore is just absolutely insane. Sure most warframes can’t do things like destroy planets but they are probably able to kill things that can while face tanking planet killing attacks.
the primed versions aren't basically gods, in-lore we see sentients destroy warframes, hell, during new war we literally pick up a destroyed rhino prime's corinth prime and kill sentients with it lol but sentients on their own outscale wh40k so primes may aswell be gods to them, whatever xd
@ in lore primed versions barely exist outside the old war and even during the old war the prime versions were rarely deployed due to needing them to create more warframes. During the new war Kahl takes a prime Corinth off a normal rhino not a primed rhino.
@@bigfella9034 Nope not really. Because of how his Mach rush works it scales poorly. We don't have a mod that says +900% sprint speed. As for Volt he can just reach 900% strength which speed scales to along with infested mobility. To clarify, movement speed and sprint speed are the only thing that can modify mach rush. So that's only 2 factors that can multiply it and also revenant can beat Gauss in speed easily, along with the other unconventional speed frames like Nova, Grendel and Hydroid. and technically Lavos. Meanwhile Volt not only has those 2 but has Strength on top of it. so that's 3. In basic terms 1 x 2 x 2 is lower than 1 x 2 x 2 x 2. One would result in 4 the other would result in 8. With both having infested mobility the gap widens to insane levels.
@@bigfella9034 Lore wise it's still Volt, in the opening cutscene alone shows that even his electric shield and electric particles is slowed down meaning he's matching up and surpassing lightning speed. Also Kinaetic energy has higher potential than electricity? Kinetic doesn't have a higher potential than Electricity for the simple fact kinetic energy is just ENERGY OF MOTION, Gauss needs jet engines for it. Volt on the other hand Lightning is Mach 364. Even at base Volt has higher Kinetic energy because he simply moves faster. Edit: Gauss uses kinetic energy as a weapon he isn't the master of it. If you wanna know true kinetic force see Atlas.
What’s funny is that even if you try to hypnotise a frame, their minds are extremely broken and are in constant psychological distress, only the Tenno can help make that pain go away so in short a Warframe without it’s Tenno is basically a Warframe without an ability cap which could lead to DEVASTATING effects to everything around it
So from seeign stuff 8.9 kilometers from front to back. A grineer galleon is 2.3 kilometers, so that's 3.8x the size of a normal exterminate mission and since an experience player can take that on in like 2-3 minutes the longest chroma will take is 11 minutes.
That really depends on if they can figure it out before they die. A threat of this scale would have the SM's responding in force ASAP. Potentially right into the meat grinder.
I could see that happening if they figure out if that's what Chroma is doing. It will be hard to do though considering in most cases tenno are known to infiltrate ships quietly and due to the massive size and crew of an average war hammer 40k ship I'd imagine it would be hard to tell if the ship had been infiltrated especially since the general size of one of them can be scaled to the size of a larger city due to crew needed to man it... Tenno are almost as bad as something like an Everson assassins, except give it the powers of a higher level psyker, a halo Spartans over-shields, technology at worst that can be comparable to necron weapon tech. I don't think this would play much of a factor in this but imagine if this was a general infiltration squad where the ship had to deal with chroma plus 3 other tenno that van Arguably just as dangerous as chroma is alone...
See that isn't gonna work since everything they throw at him would already do jack squat. On top of that, let's say they did kill everyone that isn't armored. Big whoop, The food just switched from Meat bags to Meat cans. This is also a warframe were on about, armor is worthless against overwhelming strength and that's if Chroma didn't remove all of it first via his breath alone. Since the way Corrosive works and Archon shards with Archon Continuity. There's also Bleed that goes through armor. Do i need to mention that if this Chroma is min maxed he would be dealing 10 million x more damage to anything his bullets and melee connect to. Warframe mods are canon and they get funky in numbers.
Another thing, shooting his shields increases his armor, shooting his health increases his damage. It's just faster for him to kill to gain stacks for it.
I think specifically chapters like the exorcists or others that specialize in demon hunting might have an edge, with their librarians possibly being able to interfere with the tenno's link to their warframe, maybe even banish them from the warframe or nullify their powers.
@@cecilrhodes2153 Those units are all tech based, not psychic based. Though the "main" tenno did receive psychic attacks from Teshin during the main story, it's up for debate on if they're "adjusted" enough to handle attacks from psychic power houses.
Sevagoth can take them on bc of his 3rd ability and his reap and sow combo and his shadow able to tear thru the toughest of enemies with his insaine shadow claws and usung his embrace ro group up enemies to basicly kill them in groups, and sevagoths passive ability making him hard to kill and ability to self heal with DMG and his epitath. Reap scales with ability strength so making wepaons do inasine more crit chance even going to the red crits. Not to forget his own railjack he has that been transformed by the void. Can use epitath to slow enemies that are out of gloom range. Even at sp content he can still slay alot of enemies. And dont forget sevagoth railjack nukeluer void black hole missile he has waiting to tear ships up in one shot.
Vex Armor also scales up when he takes damage. In other words, the more the Space Marines fight back, the stronger he gets. Edit: I was unaware of a change to his kit, removed incorrect information from my comment.

I honestly find this series pretty interesting. How ever myself would be very interested in the warhammer universe vs the destiny universe. There are beings like xivu arath in destiny and she effectively is khorne or being like nezarec that have brought the defffinition of fear into the universe. And those arent even the most powefull ones.
Lore wise, not even a primarch could beat the guardian. Sure they couldn't maybe beat a normal run of the mill guardian, but that's still a maybe. I don't think any primarch would survive a black hole that tracks them being thrown at them.
Chroma in general is a pretty scary warframe to up against he can use fire, lighting, poison and ice offensively or defensively and is wearing the skin of a sentient which itself is a highly adaptive clarktech machine and that can almost straight up become immune to damage. On top of that his own powers range from breathing elemental effects, to creating an aura around himself that gives detrimental effects to enemies depending on the element which could be electrocuting enemies to sending their rounds flying right back at em, lighting them on fire if they hit with melee or giving them poisoning them with poisons so powerful it can melt robots into goop and can empower himself/increase his defenses by taking damage on top of giving life to his skinned pelt that also has elemental attacks. That's not even adding in the fact that warframes in general out stat space marines as warframes on average in lore move so fast that they appear as blurs of colour, have strength great enough to lift 2,500lbs with one hand without any visible strain, are highly acrobatic and manurable being able to effortless wall run, run up walls, cling to walls and alter their own personal gravity as well being pretty much immune to fall damage. And have reaction speeds great enough that they can parry full automatic machinegun fire at almost point blank range. This is without taking mods, arcane's or weapons or other things into consideration. He's also got archwings, dreadnought equivariant necromechs, hoverboards and archwing guns which can destroy asteroids and house sized armored turrets and fightercraft and specters he can take with him. Warframe is just a whole other class of craziness.
chroma is in need a rework is not the power house it used to be. revenant could clear with less effort lol. also we are not counting arcanes and archon shards nor what a full deck tenno can do since a good tenno will switch in and out to take advantage of both things magus lockdown + annomaly will be a nightmare to a platoon getting suck it to a location to be murder in a group.
The real problem is that you chose *chroma*. one of the most desperately-in-need-of-a-rework frames in the game... not because he's ineffective, but because he's literally the absolute best at ONE THING - and that thing is *boring*. He is a living Tank Buster. His damage output is tied to his damage intake, so you want him being shot with the heaviest guns in existence so he can turn whatever gun is in his hands into a field artillery piece. Turn on his 3 so he can take more damage, turn on his 4 and take the damage so you can return the favor - neither of his two useful abilities are interesting mechanically, his 1 is quite bad, and his 4 is only good at multiplying credits dropped. That said, Yea, he'll easily kill the space marines and all the servitors and the crew. Literally he wants to be shot at.
Not that long ago Chroma’s Vex Armor was buffed. Now he can get buffs from killing enemies too (melee kills = armor buff, ranged weapon kills = damage buff)
His 2 allows him a cold barrior around him giving more armor but also sending back any projectile that is shot at him and same with electricity but it increases his shields
Then you also have fun ones like Valkyr, which can become literally invulnerable, unstoppable, heals all damage done, and gets plasma claws. In the world of Warframe even the weakest frames are basically game over scenarios for any military
I think that that is a good comparison to just a base Warframe. Eversor mixed with Harlequin. Then add powers that the strongest psykers would be jealous of-like freezing time, opening a portal to the sun as an attack, raising the dead, cloning yourself, and more.
Funny enough the first Warframe they actually fight is Sevagoth. Sevagoth lore is that he have been protecting the void and even destroy thousands of Corpus relay and Shipyard for being to close to the Void, by Himself. Wven when he died he let his Shadow continues the rampage.
I just see Nidus busting into Nurgles garden and showing him what real disease feels like while the techncyte infestation devours everything in sight , Or Atlas busting into Khorn realm turning hes endless hoardes into peeble , Limbo showing tzechee what real magic looks like while locking all his demons in a another dimension , and finaly Oberon busting into the realm of slaneesh , probably with corvex iradiating everything to the point all sensation is removed through radiation poisoning mixed with void energy
Tenno in the WH40k universe... Now I'm just imagining the Tenno using any and and every weapon all of the factions are using. If we can tear off a sentient's arm and use it as our own, there's no reason we can't rip off some nid's arms off and use them as swords. Here's the terrifying thing, if the Tenno can get their grubby mitts on a rare weapon like a power sword, they can now then mass produce AND modify it to be better. Imagine a Warframe using a powersword that somehow hits targets 2-3 meters beyond it's physical form, hits faster and stronger, and is somehow dealing radiation or toxic gas or whatever to anything it hits.
And then there’s limbo, who can make an entire area freeze in time giving himself an infinite amount of time to analyze their armor and figure out the best way to punch through. For once, the prep time argument is viable because limbo has infinite prep time by default.
I'd actually be relieved if it was a warframe, instead of the Tenno behind them. Immortal Chaos Gods incarnate. Actually, thinking about it, a Tenno's connection to the void would be an entirely, utterly terrifying kind of thing to psykers. The void is not the same as the warp, and every single active warframe has an active connection through it. Any psyker who can sense that will either think they're a chaos-warped (if they're bad at their job) or realize that they're looking at something akin to khorne using that killing machine like a sock puppet, and if they found out the tenno could transfer OUT of the frame into the battlefield...
Would Space Marines even be able to deal with the sheer speed of Volt or Gauss. Speaking of Gauss , bro can literally say no to kinetic damage making most if not all Space Marine weaponry useles. I mean, maybe. Space Marines are generally described as being way faster than anything their size has any right to be. I think the issue stems more from mobility. If we do the sensible thing of ignoring some of the more heavily ridiculed animations from Dawn of War 3, Space Marines aren't exactly acrobatic, they're fast in the same sense that a truck can be fast. A Warframe on the other hand can turn a literal firefight into a game of "the floor is lava" just to avoid getting bored.
Has anyone taken the time to actually look at the things 40k space marines fight on a daily basis? And the standard running speed of a space marine is about 45 mph.

For you wh40k fans a quick primer of what a Warframe is in your terms Necron + Tyranid glued together by the warp, it is a biomechanical being who is constantly tapped into the warp and is fueled and who all have access to a range of psyker like abilities that defy reality and make thousand sons jealous of the range of spells at their command. WH40k at best can 'banish' a Warframe through sheer exhaustion of its energy in traditional combat forcing a retreat. Then possibly corrupting one. Krone and Tzench is likely the most capable of that corruption. And while a Warframe presence is stealthy I would not say it is not at praihiah levels as one can scan an after scene and find residual emissions. Melee competency is extremely high as the Warframes where trained by an army whose emperors did not dare arm with guns in fear of rebellion. Said training army had to contend with enemies with cannons tanks, space craft and scout titans with said melee weapons. So possible they may be able to fairly compete in a spar with a freshly trained custodes. Reflex wise they are probably more responsive than eldar. Able to deflect and bat bullets away from harming them. Tech wise is is probably on the same level as mankind in its golden age before the dark age. Additionaly they are capable of highjacking other tech to their own means, nothing is going to stop a Warframe from stealing a standard bolter and turning it into a cryo machine shotgun with endless ammo feeding into it. Or a standard las rifles that automatically headshots an entire squad from a single overcharge shot. The most gravest possible adaptation of Warframe technology is if you actually managed to defeat one, and it comes back whole sale ripping off the very advantages leveraged against it. A space Marine Warframe, Nyd or Necron Warframes are not impossible. Then the worst aspect of all, in terms of universe vs universe tenno are such few in number most factions may consider losses to Warframes as acceptable operational losses, despite how grevious those wounds may be tenno do strike in small stealth and secluded numbers to gather Intel and keep any one warring side from winning. They can kill a faction by a thousand cuts rather than the imperial styled smashing out of existen like a warhammer. A base there, an officer here, a comm tower there, a supply train here and one intercepted and replaced message and you got a stalled effort whose enemies may finish the job the Warframe started. If imperium only enemy was Warframes, Warframes would lose eventually. Alas imperium has way too many enemies to worry about a missing missive or a stolen personal shield generator. Most likely allies would be chapters like salamanders and ultramarines in goals and behaviour alignment, and buddy buddy with the raven gaurd in combat. Ad mech would without a doubt worship them as the omnisash's angels or of similar reverence. They are unlikely to be loyal to the Impire but will likely do any job offered by the imperium provided it doesn't violate their honor code. Inquisition may possibly get in contact with Warframe controlers and maybe work out a deal using them as extremly useful agents. Warframes would absolutely oppose the nids and chaos, Necron, whaaag Orks, and dark eldari. Be Leery of Tau (they would likely find the truth quickly), and possibly be assistance to the eldari if they where not so being so arrogant. Voltan would likely be trade partners. If you want to know how badly a Warframe can get destroyed physically and be brought back, one was incinrated into dust and was still able to be quickly and cheaply rebuilt, memories and capabilities intact from said scraps and dust. Many Warframes in the hands of a neophyte are easily killed, it's the veteranized Warframes are of the greatest concern, some being much stronger than lore suggests at time.
Then in terms of war fighting Warframes don't have logistics, Warframes don't have bases, Warframes don't have planets or cities critically to defend. Warframes may try and protect a city but it's loss would not hinder the Warframes ability to continue it's war. If anything may make them angry enough to kill all of the offenders to the very last.
Lore wise I believe the original chroma got stranded on an infested moon and proceeded to eat and kill every other infested bio form. But thats like old old lore tho
Warframes and by extension Tenno's are really smaller Warp Gods that interfere in real space they're what I imagine a modern sensei(I think thats the term used for the Emperor's actual children before they got retconned)

In a hotfix after the Dante Unbound update, I think. First they added an augment and then they changed it so you can get the damage buff with ranged kills and the armour buff with melee kills.
Biggest reason: The Tenno simply would not want to cause End Times. They'd probably just find themselves a nice galaxy to call home.... definitely ruling whatever corner they'd settle in pretty much unopposed (or, well, wiping out any opposition that shows up) while selling their services to any sapient faction (so, no Tyranids) that would pay. Well, aside from the Drukhari and Chaos I suppose... and even then it likely depends on the mission. Seriously with how many times we did stuff for Salad V despite him constantly trying to set us up or makes deals with anything terrible... X) Second reason, scale. 40k is simply too big for a force that, even if you were to count the all-time peak concurrent players on steam as the canonical number of existing Tenno, is barely above 180k "awakened" strong. The rest still being "asleep". There are also a lot of "rank and file" among those asleep that essentially pilot almost unmodded basic frames which I'll for simplicty's sake set at "Single Space Marine strong" but can not really find good info on. 200k "Above demon primarch" strong singular beings just do not do much when the WORLDS of the Imperium alone number in the millions; and both Necrons and Imperium have weapons like "sunb-be-gone" and "throw black hole at thing". So while Warframes can do similar feats each by themselves in the lore as well, it still means that they would not "win" 40k or End Times the setting. Even the pop-idol frame would probably whack Morty's or Angron's ass back into the Warp though if properly modded, Helminth'd and outfitted with the latest of Tenno Weaponry. Unless Khorne stands up again... But since he does not care from where the blood flows, and there is a couple thousand Garudas running around, he probably won't. Haha.
Even then with his title it would still pale in comparison to jsut producing grams of anti matter and peppering the planet till it looks like swiss cheese. Or Limbo putting a chunk of the planet in his rift and letting it collide and create an extinction event. Atlas casually destroying a moon sized rocket propelled meteor. Only a few of those punches would destroy the planet. Or Mag which can just mess with the polarities of the planet since she has full control of magnetism, She can literally do what magneto did in the comics, threaten to break the planet in half because Atomic bonds are magnetism.
Yeah Chroma definitely has the advantage here. I'd say you'd need a whole lot of VERY powerful Librarians to make a difference. (Or one of the weird named characters but that's a whole different conversation)
Not to mention that warframes are even more powerful according to the lore. Take atlas for example who literally smashed a meteor with his punch. Orokin were basically an endgame Type 2 civilisation and at the beginning of type 3 before they were wiped out by tenno. Compared to warhammer where everyone except nekron and eldar is still a type 1 civ on the road to type 2.
Man, sure would be a shame if there was a dozen warframes that a battle barge could do nothing against... Saryn, Limbo(Literally unkillable), Gyre(Bye bye any tech), Wisp(Portal to the FUCKING SUN, anyone?), Dagath(Can and will murder your entire family for looking at her funnily), etc. I honestly think there's very few frames that would actually lose to this kind of thing- Nyx maybe, depends if she has somewhere safe while she mind controls people, potentially Yareli based on her weapons... And that's kind of it. Even Loki'd be the silent assassin, along with Ivara, that'd just sneak up behind your strongest unit, massacre them in seconds, and continue on their way.
Loki would be terrifying, first all your weapons vanish, then you just see all your allies being ripped apart by some invisible blade. Shit is straight out of a horror movie.

Anyway because Nyx's thing is only single-target, if it breaks, she's vulnerable to everything else in the area, who just saw their friend being murdered and are now pissed. Nyx, being a warframe, is still damn strong, but if she's caught off guard she'll go down easier than most frames.

@@drakobloodwing540 Survival mission long runs you count KPM(kills per minute) in the hundreds so, with Saryn you could slay a 300 person ship in about 2 minutes if not less. You could slay thousands in 10 minutes and the warframe won't even break a sweat. It's not even fair to compare them with most sci-fi universes. It's like putting a space marine against an Alien from AvP. It's just no contest.

Chroma is kind of OP simply because he’s a murder machine that keeps going as long as bodies are dropping. Mods are considered canon to the lore, so a Chroma minmaxing in Vex Armor would melt through ceramite like butter, with the right weapon/s.
He sounds like a bad choice because the rest of his kit isn’t terribly impressive, until you realize his vex armor multiplies his damage/armor anywhere from 200% to 1000% depending on how much you believe game mechanics apply. When you combine that with base Tenno strength (cutting mofos in half, ground slams), and agility (cutting high velocity projectiles out of the air, bullet jumps) he’s basically a bullet-dodging Wolverine on crack.

And one in specific triggers healt regeneration on damage and its potency is tied to ones total health which sinergizes with Chromas Elemental Ward that buffs total amount of Chromas health.
You basically have a walking tank that regenerates its damaged tissue in rapid succession.

What i find ironic about Chroma is his reliance on the strength of his enemies - he would technically be less dangerous against 300 Guardsmen than 300 Space Marines because the Guardsmen are not firing what is the equivant of a Kuva Tonkor on crack.
While warframes have the inherent benefit of their elemental offensive abilities being inherently void powered (basically the Warp but more singular), there would also be the issue of a Warframe's speed.
Even assuming that his electric breath only tickled their electronics, his frost breath barely slowed them down, his heat breath just made them toasty, and his toxin breath just gave them a mild cough, Chroma would still be able to smack them in the bits and run circles around them like a cosplying Harlequin
A bolter is still just an anti-personnel weapon canonically. Probably closer to the basic Acceltra, though with half the magazine size and likely a slightly lower fire rate. Just enough mods to get some blast damage.
But yeah, basic Warframe stuff would make them tough even without powers or mods.
He recently got updated, he can increase vex armour with melee and ranged (headshot) kills
Remember canonically space marines move at superhuman speeds. The speed difference would actually be fairly small, they'd be able to keep up with a warframe quite effectively, it may move faster than them but they'd be able to track it and keep sights on it the entire time, their reaction speed is that fast.
As for other things, sure a bolter may not be over the top powerful against a frame, it's still going to blow chunks out of one with a hit.
As for psykers, be real, all warframe void abilities are low end psyker powers, the void is like a really tame version of the warp with a fraction of the power. Sure its more focused and easier to control and tenno have essentially mastered it, but its the comparison of sticking your foot in the warp wereas an astarties psyker has gone for a swim. They may quite litterally melt the tenno by accident, the frame would be fine, the tenno back on the dropship not so much.

@@Pugtail true but your ignoring the scale and fhe feats done in 40k lore too. The entire warframe universe is litterally 2 solar systems (one of which no human has ever stepped foot in, only the Sentients) and a tiny fraction of the void. The feats of warframes while impressive are also not that great in most circumstances as they are done against base humans and not something of actually impressive strength (wiping out an army of a few hundred base humans is nothing to write home about), a few feats are impressive I admit, time stopping for example is amazing, but generally they aren't overly powerful, and vitally most of them in their lore got dead fighting base humans or infested.
Now if we go with 40k lore and not tabletop or games, an Astarties is (espeically a named Astarties) insanely powerful too, many capable of taking on thousands of base humans and if given time capturing an entire planet alone (if there are no superhumans, deamons, necrons, eldari, tau, orks, or other major players present). Your asking a warframe to fight 300 of them, each of which has over 100 years of combat experience (far more than the tenno) and vitally know something no enemy in warframe does, how to fight in melee effectively (including how to block, parry and vitally tie up a weapon with their own or even their own body if needbe). Also they don't drop energy or ammo when killed, warframe will rapidly run out of both. Oh and for an example of how fast an Astarties can be, they can dodge bullets (and some beams), they kindof have to, their enemies fire ones largee and powerful enough to turn normal humans into clouds of red mist (or in the case of the necrons, melt them at the subatomic scale).
Now consider the scenario, boarding a battlebarge will have 3 named astarties atleast as they tend to carry 3 companies, meaning 3 captains, and maybe even a chapter master, definitely a handful of librarians, some armour, maybe if it's the 1st company as many as 100 terminators, and probably a handful of dreadnoughts. Oh and a few thousand imperial many arms men. Oh and this all assumes they get aboard, the tenno's orbiter and dropship is not getting close, a battlebarge can track them from the other side of the solar system and shoot them from nearly as far away (using lore remember, 40k ships are insanely powerful), the archwing may get closer but even a glancing blow kills it and its slow, it'd take litterally years to fly between were the orbiter had to launch it and the battlebarge, and the battlebarge flies faster than it does. Oh and even if it does get close enough, how is it going to board the battlebarge, it can't penetrate the void shields, no weapon in the warframe universe has shown that level of destructive power yet.
Now if we go to tabletop/games rather than lore for both, the warframe actually gains the advantage but is still so outnumbered and outgunned that it's a suicide mission in most respects. Only limbo really has a chance then, and then only because it can slip into the rift were 40k units can't hurt it. In reality it's not a case of the warframe killing Astarties, it could with some difficulty, it's a case of it been able to survive been hit by them and it frankly can't. A good way to compare them is a standard astarties is a lvl 600 Fire Bombard Eximus (you can kill them, its just challenging), a named Astarties is a lvl 800 Fire Bombard Eximus, a Terminator is a lvl 2000 Necramech Eximus, a named Terminator is a lvl 2500 Necramech Eximus, oh and they are all inside an unbreakable Nullifier bubble it a Libririan is still present aboard ship (and they are, and the doors to them are locked and you can't hack them, they have to choose to let you in). The named characters and any other melee equipped units also block/parry 75% of your attacks and counter with a hit that has a 80% chance to be instantly fatal. The nercramechs block 100% of attacks (they don't parry, that would just break your melee weapon) and all their attacks are instantly fatal.
Oh and a dreadnought is the profit taker orb, except smaller, faster, way more agressive (it will actively hunt you, and there can be several at once), and with multiple instant kill attacks if it lands them regardless of your frames abilities due to how devastating they are, in fairness it has no sheilds but you need an archwing weapon to hurt it, one which you can't deploy remember. Oh and this would also be a mission were no enemy drops any ammo, energy or health and you can't respawn or use support abilities.
Sure it could be done, but it'd be easier to clear all of the steel path at the same time with an unmodified Excalibur, boar and Bo (I've tried a single mission like that, I was bored, it can be done but it's very luck dependant, and I cheated alot using operator abilities).

The difference is also with Heat ward, he's basically a walking mini sun at that state. Dispersing focus fire is one thing what about dispersing heat when there's nothing in the area to divert the heat to.

Now with that in mind, imagine they meet a Gauss running a nuke build. Thermal sunder on 100% redline would strip their armor and blow them to bits in a fraction of a second.

I think the thing we all forget in Warframe is that the Grineer, while mentally degraded from the cloning process, are *already* a class of engineered supersoldier a la space marines. I mean sure, the average lancer isn't going to be taking down any of the marines (they aren't as extremely enhanced as the marines), enemies like the Nox or the tubemen, Kuva Trokarians, or the stronger varieties of ghouls are definitely comparable in everything except training and weaponry. And let's not forget that the warframes were able to cleave through waves of highly trained, well armed supersoldiers (the Dax) during the Old War.
Ig what I'm saying is, it's not a question of *if* a warframe could clear out a ship full of space marines. It's more about how quickly and how easily they could do it. Basically, they'd juat be another enemy faction on the starchart. Harder to deal with than the chumps like the Grineer and Corpus, but manageable all the same.
Dax are basically equivalent of Custodes ... and Warframes make those look like helpless toddlers.
The elemental ward can also hit enemies with high voltage attacks when they hit his shield and with ice will flat out return to sender weapons fire on him. It also will increase his armor

Not jsut those, his Elemental Ward is what makes anything near him die. Toxin outrights deals 5% of the total health of an enemy per tick. with 100% status chance meaning that 5% would be on a DoT cleaving their health to shreds.
heat damage while boosting his health, destroys the armor of anything near him. in a 15 meter radius without mods. 30 meters at 200% range. So yeah not only are they gonna worry about Archon Continuity + 14 corrosive stacks from his breath removing all of their armor.
Anything infront of him would die and anything that isn't would be too weak or dead.
At first glance it seemed impossible for a warframe to do this given how powerful space marines are, but if you get into warframe's abilities (god forbid they put mesa on that ship 0_0) then you start to realize that it's just another day at the office for them

Even Grineer butchers are super soldiers in their own right. Crudely augmented, yeah, but still strong enough to cut through the advanced metal bodies of the Warframes. Still strong enough to subjugate the people of Earth with incredibly little resistance.
It's been speculated that the reason some Grineer are made butchers and some are made bombards is how well the cloning went. Because they are for the most part combat ready soon as they are out of the tube coming from one single individual's stock at the start.
Lowest grades are made workers, barely passing grades are the melee shock units, higher Intel are usually tubed up as organic controllers in their systems, and high physicals are made into their leading elites.
Also female clones always outrank most male clones due to the matriarchy of the queens, highest positions and best fed are the royal guards, other examples that female units who are of sufficient combat grade at minimal are heavy gunners, and female clones are generally piloting all the heavier fighter craft and transports. We also don't know who the template for the female clone came from but likely the queens doing.

there's few scenarios in Sci-fi where Warframes and Oerators have issues dealing with stuff that is from outside the Warframe universe
the name literally states what they're built for, and even the ones that barely fit the "war" part are not fucking around; they may not kill you, but you'll wish they could after a while.
Some are not even built for war, like Protea being made to be a bodyguard, Dagath being made as an orokin's attempt to bring back their pet dax soldier. But all the same, they can kill in one way or another
I love astartes but a base chroma with a skana mk1 could wipe an entire battle barge. Warframes are just so absurdly overpowered in lore it’s insane. Then you also have prime versions which are basically gods. The scaling in warframe lore is just absolutely insane. Sure most warframes can’t do things like destroy planets but they are probably able to kill things that can while face tanking planet killing attacks.
the primed versions aren't basically gods, in-lore we see sentients destroy warframes, hell, during new war we literally pick up a destroyed rhino prime's corinth prime and kill sentients with it lol

@ in lore primed versions barely exist outside the old war and even during the old war the prime versions were rarely deployed due to needing them to create more warframes. During the new war Kahl takes a prime Corinth off a normal rhino not a primed rhino.

To clarify, movement speed and sprint speed are the only thing that can modify mach rush.
So that's only 2 factors that can multiply it and also revenant can beat Gauss in speed easily, along with the other unconventional speed frames like Nova, Grendel and Hydroid. and technically Lavos.
Meanwhile Volt not only has those 2 but has Strength on top of it. so that's 3.
In basic terms
1 x 2 x 2 is lower than 1 x 2 x 2 x 2. One would result in 4 the other would result in 8. With both having infested mobility the gap widens to insane levels.

Kinetic doesn't have a higher potential than Electricity for the simple fact kinetic energy is just ENERGY OF MOTION, Gauss needs jet engines for it. Volt on the other hand Lightning is Mach 364.
Even at base Volt has higher Kinetic energy because he simply moves faster.

So from seeign stuff 8.9 kilometers from front to back. A grineer galleon is 2.3 kilometers, so that's 3.8x the size of a normal exterminate mission and since an experience player can take that on in like 2-3 minutes the longest chroma will take is 11 minutes.

That really depends on if they can figure it out before they die. A threat of this scale would have the SM's responding in force ASAP. Potentially right into the meat grinder.
I could see that happening if they figure out if that's what Chroma is doing. It will be hard to do though considering in most cases tenno are known to infiltrate ships quietly and due to the massive size and crew of an average war hammer 40k ship I'd imagine it would be hard to tell if the ship had been infiltrated especially since the general size of one of them can be scaled to the size of a larger city due to crew needed to man it...
Tenno are almost as bad as something like an Everson assassins, except give it the powers of a higher level psyker, a halo Spartans over-shields, technology at worst that can be comparable to necron weapon tech.
I don't think this would play much of a factor in this but imagine if this was a general infiltration squad where the ship had to deal with chroma plus 3 other tenno that van Arguably just as dangerous as chroma is alone...

Big whoop, The food just switched from Meat bags to Meat cans. This is also a warframe were on about, armor is worthless against overwhelming strength and that's if Chroma didn't remove all of it first via his breath alone. Since the way Corrosive works and Archon shards with Archon Continuity.
There's also Bleed that goes through armor.
Do i need to mention that if this Chroma is min maxed he would be dealing 10 million x more damage to anything his bullets and melee connect to.
Warframe mods are canon and they get funky in numbers.
Another thing, shooting his shields increases his armor, shooting his health increases his damage. It's just faster for him to kill to gain stacks for it.
I think specifically chapters like the exorcists or others that specialize in demon hunting might have an edge, with their librarians possibly being able to interfere with the tenno's link to their warframe, maybe even banish them from the warframe or nullify their powers.
Too bad we are familiar with fighting those tricks due to the existence of Nullifier/Comba/Scrambus and the Trokar/Orphix-field.

@@cecilrhodes2153 Those units are all tech based, not psychic based. Though the "main" tenno did receive psychic attacks from Teshin during the main story, it's up for debate on if they're "adjusted" enough to handle attacks from psychic power houses.

Sevagoth can take them on bc of his 3rd ability and his reap and sow combo and his shadow able to tear thru the toughest of enemies with his insaine shadow claws and usung his embrace ro group up enemies to basicly kill them in groups, and sevagoths passive ability making him hard to kill and ability to self heal with DMG and his epitath. Reap scales with ability strength so making wepaons do inasine more crit chance even going to the red crits. Not to forget his own railjack he has that been transformed by the void. Can use epitath to slow enemies that are out of gloom range. Even at sp content he can still slay alot of enemies. And dont forget sevagoth railjack nukeluer void black hole missile he has waiting to tear ships up in one shot.

Vex Armor also scales up when he takes damage. In other words, the more the Space Marines fight back, the stronger he gets.

DE updated chromas kit. Kills now help scale his vex armor. A sorely needed quality of life tweak.

I honestly find this series pretty interesting. How ever myself would be very interested in the warhammer universe vs the destiny universe. There are beings like xivu arath in destiny and she effectively is khorne or being like nezarec that have brought the defffinition of fear into the universe. And those arent even the most powefull ones.
Lore wise, not even a primarch could beat the guardian. Sure they couldn't maybe beat a normal run of the mill guardian, but that's still a maybe. I don't think any primarch would survive a black hole that tracks them being thrown at them.

I think Warframe’s could survive in Warhammer 40k
Chroma in general is a pretty scary warframe to up against he can use fire, lighting, poison and ice offensively or defensively and is wearing the skin of a sentient which itself is a highly adaptive clarktech machine and that can almost straight up become immune to damage.
On top of that his own powers range from breathing elemental effects, to creating an aura around himself that gives detrimental effects to enemies depending on the element which could be electrocuting enemies to sending their rounds flying right back at em, lighting them on fire if they hit with melee or giving them poisoning them with poisons so powerful it can melt robots into goop and can empower himself/increase his defenses by taking damage on top of giving life to his skinned pelt that also has elemental attacks.
That's not even adding in the fact that warframes in general out stat space marines as warframes on average in lore move so fast that they appear as blurs of colour, have strength great enough to lift 2,500lbs with one hand without any visible strain, are highly acrobatic and manurable being able to effortless wall run, run up walls, cling to walls and alter their own personal gravity as well being pretty much immune to fall damage. And have reaction speeds great enough that they can parry full automatic machinegun fire at almost point blank range.
This is without taking mods, arcane's or weapons or other things into consideration. He's also got archwings, dreadnought equivariant necromechs, hoverboards and archwing guns which can destroy asteroids and house sized armored turrets and fightercraft and specters he can take with him.
Warframe is just a whole other class of craziness.
chroma is in need a rework is not the power house it used to be. revenant could clear with less effort lol. also we are not counting arcanes and archon shards nor what a full deck tenno can do since a good tenno will switch in and out to take advantage of both things magus lockdown + annomaly will be a nightmare to a platoon getting suck it to a location to be murder in a group.

Most warframe could solo space marine
The real problem is that you chose *chroma*. one of the most desperately-in-need-of-a-rework frames in the game... not because he's ineffective, but because he's literally the absolute best at ONE THING - and that thing is *boring*. He is a living Tank Buster. His damage output is tied to his damage intake, so you want him being shot with the heaviest guns in existence so he can turn whatever gun is in his hands into a field artillery piece. Turn on his 3 so he can take more damage, turn on his 4 and take the damage so you can return the favor - neither of his two useful abilities are interesting mechanically, his 1 is quite bad, and his 4 is only good at multiplying credits dropped.
That said, Yea, he'll easily kill the space marines and all the servitors and the crew. Literally he wants to be shot at.
Not that long ago Chroma’s Vex Armor was buffed. Now he can get buffs from killing enemies too (melee kills = armor buff, ranged weapon kills = damage buff)
This is a massive chroma win, this is why i stick to what i like especially my quirky gimmicks

Sevagoth lore is that he have been protecting the void and even destroy thousands of Corpus relay and Shipyard for being to close to the Void, by Himself.

I just see Nidus busting into Nurgles garden and showing him what real disease feels like while the techncyte infestation devours everything in sight , Or Atlas busting into Khorn realm turning hes endless hoardes into peeble , Limbo showing tzechee what real magic looks like while locking all his demons in a another dimension , and finaly Oberon busting into the realm of slaneesh , probably with corvex iradiating everything to the point all sensation is removed through radiation poisoning mixed with void energy

Tenno in the WH40k universe... Now I'm just imagining the Tenno using any and and every weapon all of the factions are using. If we can tear off a sentient's arm and use it as our own, there's no reason we can't rip off some nid's arms off and use them as swords. Here's the terrifying thing, if the Tenno can get their grubby mitts on a rare weapon like a power sword, they can now then mass produce AND modify it to be better. Imagine a Warframe using a powersword that somehow hits targets 2-3 meters beyond it's physical form, hits faster and stronger, and is somehow dealing radiation or toxic gas or whatever to anything it hits.
Pretty sure lorewise his 4 is able to move around on its own. Basically an animal companion for him, an undead dragon.

And then there’s limbo, who can make an entire area freeze in time giving himself an infinite amount of time to analyze their armor and figure out the best way to punch through. For once, the prep time argument is viable because limbo has infinite prep time by default.

Actually, thinking about it, a Tenno's connection to the void would be an entirely, utterly terrifying kind of thing to psykers. The void is not the same as the warp, and every single active warframe has an active connection through it. Any psyker who can sense that will either think they're a chaos-warped (if they're bad at their job) or realize that they're looking at something akin to khorne using that killing machine like a sock puppet, and if they found out the tenno could transfer OUT of the frame into the battlefield...
Would Space Marines even be able to deal with the sheer speed of Volt or Gauss. Speaking of Gauss , bro can literally say no to kinetic damage making most if not all Space Marine weaponry useles. Or even Nekros who can literally bring back the dead. Lavos (hes my main) is a walking war crime that Sayrn wishes to be
I mean, maybe. Space Marines are generally described as being way faster than anything their size has any right to be.
I think the issue stems more from mobility. If we do the sensible thing of ignoring some of the more heavily ridiculed animations from Dawn of War 3, Space Marines aren't exactly acrobatic, they're fast in the same sense that a truck can be fast.
A Warframe on the other hand can turn a literal firefight into a game of "the floor is lava" just to avoid getting bored.

Necron + Tyranid glued together by the warp, it is a biomechanical being who is constantly tapped into the warp and is fueled and who all have access to a range of psyker like abilities that defy reality and make thousand sons jealous of the range of spells at their command. WH40k at best can 'banish' a Warframe through sheer exhaustion of its energy in traditional combat forcing a retreat. Then possibly corrupting one. Krone and Tzench is likely the most capable of that corruption. And while a Warframe presence is stealthy I would not say it is not at praihiah levels as one can scan an after scene and find residual emissions.
Melee competency is extremely high as the Warframes where trained by an army whose emperors did not dare arm with guns in fear of rebellion. Said training army had to contend with enemies with cannons tanks, space craft and scout titans with said melee weapons. So possible they may be able to fairly compete in a spar with a freshly trained custodes.
Reflex wise they are probably more responsive than eldar. Able to deflect and bat bullets away from harming them.
Tech wise is is probably on the same level as mankind in its golden age before the dark age. Additionaly they are capable of highjacking other tech to their own means, nothing is going to stop a Warframe from stealing a standard bolter and turning it into a cryo machine shotgun with endless ammo feeding into it. Or a standard las rifles that automatically headshots an entire squad from a single overcharge shot. The most gravest possible adaptation of Warframe technology is if you actually managed to defeat one, and it comes back whole sale ripping off the very advantages leveraged against it. A space Marine Warframe, Nyd or Necron Warframes are not impossible.
Then the worst aspect of all, in terms of universe vs universe tenno are such few in number most factions may consider losses to Warframes as acceptable operational losses, despite how grevious those wounds may be tenno do strike in small stealth and secluded numbers to gather Intel and keep any one warring side from winning. They can kill a faction by a thousand cuts rather than the imperial styled smashing out of existen like a warhammer. A base there, an officer here, a comm tower there, a supply train here and one intercepted and replaced message and you got a stalled effort whose enemies may finish the job the Warframe started. If imperium only enemy was Warframes, Warframes would lose eventually. Alas imperium has way too many enemies to worry about a missing missive or a stolen personal shield generator.
Most likely allies would be chapters like salamanders and ultramarines in goals and behaviour alignment, and buddy buddy with the raven gaurd in combat. Ad mech would without a doubt worship them as the omnisash's angels or of similar reverence. They are unlikely to be loyal to the Impire but will likely do any job offered by the imperium provided it doesn't violate their honor code. Inquisition may possibly get in contact with Warframe controlers and maybe work out a deal using them as extremly useful agents.
Warframes would absolutely oppose the nids and chaos, Necron, whaaag Orks, and dark eldari. Be Leery of Tau (they would likely find the truth quickly), and possibly be assistance to the eldari if they where not so being so arrogant. Voltan would likely be trade partners.
If you want to know how badly a Warframe can get destroyed physically and be brought back, one was incinrated into dust and was still able to be quickly and cheaply rebuilt, memories and capabilities intact from said scraps and dust.
Many Warframes in the hands of a neophyte are easily killed, it's the veteranized Warframes are of the greatest concern, some being much stronger than lore suggests at time.
Then in terms of war fighting
Warframes don't have logistics, Warframes don't have bases, Warframes don't have planets or cities critically to defend.
Warframes may try and protect a city but it's loss would not hinder the Warframes ability to continue it's war. If anything may make them angry enough to kill all of the offenders to the very last.

Warframes and by extension Tenno's are really smaller Warp Gods that interfere in real space they're what I imagine a modern sensei(I think thats the term used for the Emperor's actual children before they got retconned)
Pretty close, since the tenno is what would happen if the Warp decided to manifest into a child with a gun. And the guy that gave that power is infinitely stronger.

In a hotfix after the Dante Unbound update, I think. First they added an augment and then they changed it so you can get the damage buff with ranged kills and the armour buff with melee kills.

Biggest reason: The Tenno simply would not want to cause End Times. They'd probably just find themselves a nice galaxy to call home.... definitely ruling whatever corner they'd settle in pretty much unopposed (or, well, wiping out any opposition that shows up) while selling their services to any sapient faction (so, no Tyranids) that would pay. Well, aside from the Drukhari and Chaos I suppose... and even then it likely depends on the mission. Seriously with how many times we did stuff for Salad V despite him constantly trying to set us up or makes deals with anything terrible... X)
Second reason, scale. 40k is simply too big for a force that, even if you were to count the all-time peak concurrent players on steam as the canonical number of existing Tenno, is barely above 180k "awakened" strong. The rest still being "asleep". There are also a lot of "rank and file" among those asleep that essentially pilot almost unmodded basic frames which I'll for simplicty's sake set at "Single Space Marine strong" but can not really find good info on. 200k "Above demon primarch" strong singular beings just do not do much when the WORLDS of the Imperium alone number in the millions; and both Necrons and Imperium have weapons like "sunb-be-gone" and "throw black hole at thing". So while Warframes can do similar feats each by themselves in the lore as well, it still means that they would not "win" 40k or End Times the setting.
Even the pop-idol frame would probably whack Morty's or Angron's ass back into the Warp though if properly modded, Helminth'd and outfitted with the latest of Tenno Weaponry. Unless Khorne stands up again... But since he does not care from where the blood flows, and there is a couple thousand Garudas running around, he probably won't. Haha.

Yeah Chroma definitely has the advantage here. I'd say you'd need a whole lot of VERY powerful Librarians to make a difference. (Or one of the weird named characters but that's a whole different conversation)

Orokin were basically an endgame Type 2 civilisation and at the beginning of type 3 before they were wiped out by tenno. Compared to warhammer where everyone except nekron and eldar is still a type 1 civ on the road to type 2.

Saryn, Limbo(Literally unkillable), Gyre(Bye bye any tech), Wisp(Portal to the FUCKING SUN, anyone?), Dagath(Can and will murder your entire family for looking at her funnily), etc. I honestly think there's very few frames that would actually lose to this kind of thing- Nyx maybe, depends if she has somewhere safe while she mind controls people, potentially Yareli based on her weapons... And that's kind of it. Even Loki'd be the silent assassin, along with Ivara, that'd just sneak up behind your strongest unit, massacre them in seconds, and continue on their way.
Loki would be terrifying, first all your weapons vanish, then you just see all your allies being ripped apart by some invisible blade. Shit is straight out of a horror movie.

@@tonysmith9905 It's also only one target mind control, and I'm not counting the ways ALL frames can become immortal because that's basically cheating. Anyway because Nyx's thing is only single-target, if it breaks, she's vulnerable to everything else in the area, who just saw their friend being murdered and are now pissed. Nyx, being a warframe, is still damn strong, but if she's caught off guard she'll go down easier than most frames.
