Marino was a treat to watch if you ever got to see him. A cannon for an arm and a hair trigger release. The ball came out so fast you felt the defense had not much of a chance.
He had those crazy twinkle toes as well. Footwork was on another level.
His stats are even more impressive when you take into account that DB’s were allowed to just manhandle receivers back in the day.

Montana, Marino, Elway and Young were done before 40 because they played in a rougher era. These guys would've had bigger numbers and longer careers if they played today.
