You’re the first reseller I came across on RUclips and not only have I binged your channel but I’ve binged other resellers channels too and because of finding you I’ve now begun reselling which has done more for my life in the last 3-4 weeks I’ve been doing it than you’ll ever know!! I’ve been wheelchair bound/bed bound quite a bit over the last few years so this has gotten me out of the house more, talking to more and more people and of course earning some extra money to help with all the bills. I never knew I could earn so much money doing something like this but it’s really changing my life in such a short space of time. So I just wanted to leave you a little note to say thank you!! I always look forward to your videos popping up on my feed. Take care both of you 😊
❤❤❤
💛💙💜 thank you so much for the kind message.. incredibly happy to hear I’ve had a positive impact in your life Stephanie! Keep enjoying the hunt and stay dedicated to listing those items up consistently! I’m sure there’s going to be plenty of sales to come! Amazing to have you a part of this community!
You missed a chance to raise the price on that Seinfeld book - reason for its sale would have been coz he was touring Australia in June. Won't say a rookie mistake coz you're clearly not but try to know your items well enough to time tours and events like that, to bump to maximum profit - or at least not get a loss! Love your channel 👍🏻
Love it mate keep up the good work🎉
OMG I can't believe you sold a game with a $3 sticker still on it :O
happens every now and then. I usually take them off
My best ever sale 'back in the day' I sold a DAAS CD (Doug Anthony All Stars - Paul McDermett) for $97 I couldn't believe it - bought it for $3 for personal ended up selling starting bid at $0.99c
Matt you have to stop with the satchels on most items! I haven't looked back. Buy the small padded bags and you could easy fit 3 books in one padded bag compared to the small satchel. The small padded bags are quite big, you can fit larger items in that you can't in the small satchel. Plus, you will save so much money in the long run (plus your time!) not having to buy bubble wrap, plus you get a good discount on the 100 pack. Hope this helps!
Helps a lot karen thank you!!
Courtney eyes i got lost in them 😂 plus great find on those jeans
Travelling around South Australia at the moment - dvd prices vary greatly. One shop had 10 for $1 which is the cheapest I’ve ever seen! Another (a Salvos) not far up the road were selling dvds for $10 each which is the highest I’ve ever seen!
Crazy what differences there are in price! Happy hunting!
Just a tip when posting the small padded mailer is actually larger than the small flat rate satchel, you’ll pay more for it $1.59 if not purchased in bulk but you’ll save on the overall postage as they are flat rate too. So small padded mailer is the small flat rate fee. All the padded mailers and tough mailers are bigger than the plastic satchels of the same categories. Hope that makes sense and saves you some money in the future 😊
Baby reindeer, I enjoyed it immensely but it is dark and confronting at times. A unique view into the human psyche and choices and decisions. If you like different and eye opening, go for it.
been a lot of talk about it! enjoying it so far
Great video, some nice finds. I wouldn’t have bought the shoes with the hole in the heel won’t last long so that’s why I wouldn’t buy them. Still only got one item listed on eBay, been too sick, but I have lots of good items to list taking up real estate in my unit lol. Loved the drizabone coat, should sell well.
My best pick recently is a $4 purchase price for a sky lander and sold for $470
Incredible!!
what skylander?
Shane is a classic western, great information again Matt, thanks 😁
Oooo haven’t seen it! Sounds good!
I've sold that Mad Don Martin book many times over, always a sure thing.
So good to know!
Yep! watched Baby Reindeer, I enjoyed it! 👍
Hey Matt those VCR DVD players are an absolute killer I picked up a bulk lot of them the other day for 150 and sold 5 already doubled my money, that LG combo with the remote goes for upwards of $320 it's a desirable model, the sell through rate on them is also fantastic usually 3 or 4 days and it's sold.
I would of gone the driza bone jacket. Fantastic risk vs reward.
Great job 👍👍
I find I'm listing a lot of older stock for break-even prices at this stage. Some things just need to be liquidated so the cash can be redirected for better effect.
Yep! Absolutely
For two and a half men, the final season sells for like $30, its rarer and harder to get. Found it once for $2
agh that makes sense!!
i thought you were going to have baby reindeer for Dinner for a minute 🤣🤣
What's the reason you don't use small padded mailers instead of those tiny assed medium satchels? The postage savings far outweigh the $1 purchase price if bought in bulk. Is it a space issue? A cashflow issue?
If i send a pair of jeans within Melbourne, it costs $6.89 and they slide nicely into a small padded mailer. No rolling it up and jamming it in. If I was using a medium vinyl satchel, it would cost around $12 and is not as well protected.
So yeah, just curious to know why you don't use them?
No idea. Just haven’t looked into it
@@TheAussieFlipper okay thanks for answering
How are you sending that so cheap? Is that being classed as a large letter by doing it that way? I'm currently trying to find the best way to send jeans.
@@TheAussieFlipper So you don't know what is a better way or price to send things? Just haven't looked into it?
Hi bro, I have started doing reselling watching your videos and I really appreciate your help. I live in perth, australia. The salvos and vinnies thrift shops i have to are very expensive I think, I dont find prices like you find them in your videos, maybe its your experience or luck or maybe both 😄But please do let me know if you know any cheap thrift shops in perth. Due to limited time I cant look up to the garage sales....I am having difficulty in finding cheaper items
The cheap stores are out there mate you just have to get to know your area. You’ll start to see which stores price slightly better. Reps on reps is the answer. Keep digging
You don't take the price/sale stickers off the PlayStation games before photographing?
i do.. this one slipped through the cracks.
For shoes do you search/list by the Brand and style or use the style code? Only asking because those exact shoes just sold for $15 a few days ago and I didn't know if yours were special or what because the style code was the same.
I have no idea what shoes you're referring too but i also use style code to get an exact match and I don't hang my hat on some goose selling a pair of shoes under true market value.
@TheAussieFlipper Asics T5J1N.......Barely a 33% STR and new ones have sold for less than $60. Most use are in the $20-30 range. Brand New is definitely a different story but used aren't worth much.
@@theresellinghusband i'll report back when they sell :)
@TheAussieFlipper I guess I should say the $15 sale was USD which is $22ish AUD. It's all good man I seen your $50 USD listing price.
I almost thought you were having Baby Reindeer for dinner 😂
😂😂
Just wondering if you have "media mail' where you are. Here we can mail books, mags, etc. at a lower price via USPS.
We have something similar for sure
@@TheAussieFlipper Australia does not have media mail.
Those ASICS are COOKED. You are getting desperate with those shoes. Gel is cooked on one pair and there’s a hole is the sole on the other.😂😂😂
Watch them profit
And the last sale was $15
@@theresellinghusband can't hang your hat on 1 past sale my guy!
@@TheAussieFlipper 👀👀👀👀👀👀
1970s vintage space invaders game paid £10 sold £220 sweeeet
Pwoarrrr so good!!
With stuff like that 'In The Wild' dvd at the start of the video that are slightly too thick for a padded mailer/envelope, how do you go about shipping that?
I assume in a satchel which obviously would rise the price of postage up to closer to $10?
Thanks 🙂
Yep unfortunately $8.48 - so being able to buy for $1 to sell for $25 is the reason I bought.
I'm going to get Netflix when I run out of things to watch on RUclips! 🤔🙂😀
That’ll never happen! Because that would mean I’d stop making vids
Damn that op shop pricing DVDs at $1, you are super lucky! Those air penny shoes are so ugly lol but nice find!
Wouldn’t catch me hoopin in em
I can't find a link to your ebay store? On any of your social
House of mamba
Thanks mate!❤
Does anyone know why a store would have no sales, messages or offers? I had a store I let dwindle for a while so deleted all items and have been relisting 10 a day for the last week and have nothing happening with them. The items are showing when someone searches and they’re good prices, good photos and good sell through rate. Also 100% positive feedback on account. Any ideas?
Keep going for a month and report back. It’ll take a little to get rolling again. Keep those key indicators price photos sell through and you shouldn’t have a problem over the long run
Optimus Prime
I found a 1989 Bonjovi Australian tour Tshirt for $2 and is currently listed for $180aud I’m definitely hoping it goes for somewhere around that money.
that's exciting! band tees do well
Loved the format of this vid thanks Matt. I have got better and better at turning those bad buys into “cheap education”. I try to reframe it to a really valuable $5 lesson and move on to bigger and better things! 😊
Great way to look at it Alexandra
Without youtube you would be better off working for minimum wage in Aus. True!
Nah I just choose to run a hybrid eBay/RUclips.. plenty of ppl dominate eBay on a full time basis. I’m just a little different and that’s okay too
The weather has been bad here in Sydney for 2 weeks 🥲
Oh no!
awesome thumbnail mate also i get what you mean with the sales that make you just get your money back or lose money on. i have had the same thing all my older items just sit forever and then sell for almost nothing but the items i buy now dont sit very long and they have way more value. like for example i have so many 15 dollar hats up just so i can get rid of them😂 its all just learning what goes and what doesnt
Always learning mate! Important to make use of those learnings by adjusting your store and tweaking those inefficient items. I like to clean them out as quickly as I can do that each item in store is a banger!
@@TheAussieFlipper What do you do with the items you take out of your store?
@@zovocs sell cheap on facebook
Courtney looking 🔥 today 😲👌
New Balance with holes in the heel $40 👎👎👎👎👎
I’ve actually sold a lot of holes in the heel shoes before
I really enjoy your videos, mate! We started to look into other items than media, hopefully it will help me switch from my normal job to be able to live from eBay! The only issue is that my current job pays quite well, haha! Hope to see new material soon!
Best of luck mate! enjoy the learning process, it never ends!
How long does it take on eBay to sell 400 a day ? I've only just started again❤🎉
I can only speak for myself but $400 in sales took me 2.5 years part time to get too
1st
You the man Mark! Thanks for being here :)
Another great informative vid from The Dynamic Duo 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🇦🇺🦘
