    Great find with the cookbook, Courtney! The Aust Post satchels can take up to 5kg (I’m pretty sure that book will be less than that). It could even fit into a medium satchel, which could be $11-$15, depending on your My Post Business discount.

    Great finds. If you buy the padded or cardboard small mailer for u der $2 i find i can post 90% of my books at small parcel rates. More $$$ in Courtney's business. Hope you both have a great sales weekend. Last weekend i had one sale, my worst ever so hoping i have a good one too. 😂

    As a former barista, I truly hope Court can quit her job in favor of reselling as it's a brutal job with early hours and all day on your feet. I think she would do great with her own youtube channel as well, I would love to follow her side hustle adventures :) Thank you for these videos, Matt!

    What should I do if I am staying consistent almost everyday and 200 items on my ebay store but not getting any sales??? It just seems like Im following all the steps but nobody will buy

      @@mkdefender2 you need to deploy consistent listings courtney's doing 3 per day. Over the long run this will help bring in consistent sales. I'd source as much as you can then schedule them out over a few days... Always make sure you've got something going live each day. It will help.

    Jealous with the DVDs ! My local Salvos and Vinnies sell all Series DVDs for eBay prices ! It’s crazy. Be careful with the books though Courtney I find that it’s the sellers that specialise in books that get the bigger $$. I’m a everything seller and can’t seem to sell books for the same prices as the specialist sellers. Weird but true.and YES for the footy boots particularly ASICS . I always buy them if found ❤

    Nice haul! Finding op shops that have good dvds for $1 is hard to come by.
    One of my local salvos charges $2 per DISC so say a show like Parks and Rec that has 6 discs, yep youre paying $12.

      Also really bad advise to be scheduling listings this early. If you have stock get it in the store and grow the store. Can’t sell items and get traffic with everything either scheduled or unlisted. Can’t sell what’s not on eBay.

    When you open a store - do you pay monthly free on the date you open the store at the end of the month? Has that cost been factored in to the expenses tab?

    That’s crazy that those ski high dunks sell for that much, here in the uk you literally can’t give them away, there’s tons listed for about £30 that never sell

    What do you do if you don't get a receipt from the op shop for record keeping? I have been making small purchases to resell, mostly books for 50c to $1 and they usually don't give a receipt. Is it necessary to have one?

      It is preferable. But you could also track with a spreadsheet which shows date and store of purchase and this would match with a bank transaction. If cash, then keeping a diary record of where you have sourced works. This is all presuming you aren't registered for GST

    You need to be careful with cooking books, usually everybody offers free postage and it costs a lot to ship the heavy books so you can end up with hardly any profit unless it is a vintage cook book that is harder to find and worth more money, then it is usually worth getting 🙂

      If someone offers "free" postage it's included in their pricing. Also when you comp you take this into account. I don't do free listing and I've sold several over $50 cookbooks with added postage. Plus not many individual cookbooks are over 5kg.

    Why do you only post 3 items per day rather than getting them all listed asap

      Better for the algorithm to have listings go live each day. You want to show eBay you’re active each day. 3 per day is a lot better then listing 21 live in 1 day then ghosting for 6. Hope that makes sense
