I work a 9-5 so would absolutely love that video!
Hearing your view on side hustle would be a good video, resonates well with your previous point of the inefficiency of sourcing
I’ll put my thoughts together! Stay tuned :)
Awe what a cutie whittle puppy ❤
I recently sold 2 Outlander Funko Pops - Jamie Fraser and Clare Randall for $200 - paid $3 each
Wild! That’s so good
I'm a side hustle guy working the full time gig. I'd love to not only get some insight on ways to increase my biz, but also perhaps some backstory on how/when U decided to dive in. .... Keep up the great work.
Hey Matt! I suggest going to garage sales throughout the summer as a great way to source more items to resell. I'm in South Carolina and taking full advantage of the community yard sales on Saturday mornings 😁
Such a good idea!! I run every Saturday morning with a run club 🤗 makes it hard to hit the garage sales so I got to the flea market on a Sunday
it would be awesome if you made that vid idea!!! me and my man are working a 9-5 and want ebay to pay for bills/save for our future we havent really decided yet. we just started this month and we watch all your videos recently and they help alot!!!
Great video! I enjoyed it very much
Thanks very much for watching!
Ooooo I have a couple them hidden wedge ones to list ❤
Big $$$$
@@TheAussieFlipper op shop manager asked me why people liked them. I said, makes pretty legs look prettier. She gave me an ooooooooo look. I think we have a bond ❤️
Love the videos you & courtney are doing. As im starting out & am working 9-5, would love it if you did a video on how to navigate selling on Ebay as a side hustle. Keep up the great work. Luv you guys. From Rain
will work on that one for you this week!

Nice finds and sales
This is why people have the dreaded "death piles" but we see them as working inventory piles. Sometimes it becomes items that take more research or are larger, or have less interest, but still value. The days you can't go out these things become so valuable. Also, have you considered that you don't need a part time employee at this stage? I know that might be controversial to say because I wouldn't want someone out of a job but just wondered if you think it might have been too soon? Just thoughts :)
I think 16 months in having Courtney has been a proven success. It’s never too soon to hire especially when you get a jet like Courtney. A lot of people will just see and think eBay is the only source of income however RUclips pays quite well as well and having Courtney allows me to continually work on building the channel without having to do the 70-80 hour work weeks I did for 2 years before Courtney started. Appreciate your comment hopefully that gives some perspective
I can already tell that this is gonna be a banger
Ma man! thanks for watching as always!
Yes please to the video offer for people working 9-5 and side hustle flip
I've already posted it :D it's on the channel from about a month ago - it's a 50min long video :)
Wow ive never seen anything alf related in the wild. Awesome find master splinter 😮😮
Always a cool find!!
Yess another upload
pleasure having you here!
That's some excellent finds at the thrift, well priced too considering the price increases we're seeing across the country. Nice work 👍
Working a 9-5, I'd appreciate your video suggestion also 😉
Blu-ray players are backwards compatible so they can play dvds and cds. (You prob already know this) Love the channel.
Thanks for watching!
I wonder how much you would grow just by having a space four times bigger
Just found your eBay store. Great selection however background in photos needs to be repainted or magic eraser. Most shoes look dirty. Would it hurt to spend some time throwing them in the washing machine or a scrub with oxiclean? Would make things more appealing.
Just a bit of constructive criticism to make it more professional.
Very fair point. I’ve got lazy with cleaning my shoes over the years
I would look forward to a video on your approach to EBay as a side hustle. Thank you!
for batteries corrosion you just use q tips n vinegar then most times if it's not severe you can bring them back.
Absolutely
Full time homeschool mum of 5 kids doing eBay in my “free time” 😂 would love to hear how you would handle it not full time. Also do you have a vid on how you breakdown revenue into wage/buying more stock? Obviously not private specifics but do you have a system?
Roger that 🤝
The boxset of Outback truckers is a Bolo, sold it within 8 hours for $180!
Love your work!
if you're getting into hardware then I recommend getting those most common power leads for the dvd players etc..in the states I get lots of two prong and three prong then AV leads to give away with dvd players cos thrift ask less for items without power leads and people will choose on dvd over another if you give free cables
Have you ever considered charging postage? I’m a part time reseller but I charge post for everything & it doesn’t seem to be an issue with my sales. People seem accepting of a postage cost I also sell international & they seem happy to pay eg $30 as our dollar is so low
International is fine for charged postage I don’t mind that I just personally prefer doing free postage
Did you hear some people in the US are doing Whatnot auctions live while they are at the bins - if items don’t sell they put it back! People come up with crazy things!
loving your videos mate i basically study your videos as im trying to start my own little ebay business as a side hustle great content keep them coming
Agh awesome stuff mate! Hopefully the videos pass on some wisdom to help you with yours! Good luck!
Just be aware you need to take all youtube videos with a grain of salt and make sure you do your own research. What sells for heaps today may not sell at all tomorrow. If you try to follow someone else's business model to a T, you could end up disappointed when you don't achieve the same results. Seen it happen a few times.
Best of luck with your business.
@emusaurus 100% the truth. Not only that but alot of Resellers who make the most of their money from RUclips make crappy sourcing videos just for the content and their RUclips money. I used watch about 10 Resellers religiously but now they're all RUclipsrs who try and Resell. Such a shame!!!
@@theresellinghusband not me 👋
Those are Air Force 1's in United States sell for $30 on average. Crazy the difference in price.
I would like to hear your thoughts on dealing with Ebay when you have a regular 9-5 job.
I 'block out' bar & QR codes etc on Bunnings boxes just in case it causes any confusion. Thoughts? 🤔
Don’t mind it!
@@TheAussieFlipper Ok.
Any chance you can move your daily /wkly / mthly stats board for us to be able to see.
I've noticed a lot of the DVDs you sell are British TV shows. Do you think it's mainly EX Pats living in Australia buying these? Loving the content btw. I'm based in the UK , sold a Nike T90 vest to Tasmania recently.
i'm truely unsure but i can tell you they sell very very well so im not complaining!
Please do make a video about making ebay work with a Job, this is where i am at
Roger that 🤝
Just wondering, do you ever take a full day off where you're not buying, taking photos, listing or packing? Hope ya do!
It’s been a struggle too get my head out of the game. So much to do. I try for Saturdays off but every other day I’m non stop
@@TheAussieFlipper Well, at least your work ethic is paying off, well done!
Just curious regarding profit on an item...what is the lowest $ amount you look for when sourcing before you pass on an item? As in pay $10 sell for $25 = roughly $10 profit after fees.
That’s basically the minimum. $10 profit
The chartalan at work
If that’s how you feel why you watching?
Hey matt im in my last year of high school and ebay is my main thing along with school. I want it to become a full time thing and really enjoy it. Considering my position do you think i should list everyday for consistency like 2 or 3 items or just list a heap of stuff at once?
Hey mate awesome stuff! I’ve always found a little and often approach works better than all at once. I list $500 in value into the store each day rather than a certain quantity (eg. 5 listings a day).
Priority should be school first and foremost and then if you’ve got some extra time each day add a couple more listings into your eBay! Appreciate you tuning in!
@@TheAussieFlipper do you think i should do something like putting in $50 a day or just stick to like 3 a day?
@@zovocs I’d try both for 3 months and see what gives you better results. A lot of eBay is trial and error and learning from what’s working for you. $50 or 3 is both good options to trial
@@TheAussieFlipper thanks mate
👍🇦🇺🦘
Hi Matt please do the video.
2 bucks for as great for shoes
How sad u sad kids have to look up prices..youth make me laugh..i was antique/collector dealer for 30yrs and knew off heart prices, didnt need to look much up and if did it was via millers we didnt have net and ebay. Knowledge was everything
Congrats!
@@TheAussieFlipper yes mate I'd retired before 30
I enjoy watching your videos. Not sure where all the negativity is coming from lately but if they aren’t happy they shouldn’t watch. Your videos are helpful too with ideas on what to purchase, postage, all sorts of hints.

Matt you and Courtney make a great working team. Whats your ebay shop called. Your videos are the most informative regards to sourcing and how ebay works they have helped and are helping me on my journey using ebay as its my first time selling on there and i thank you for that much appreciated. Keep the videos coming..
I have bought and sold shoes without a size tag! It's risky, but the times I have done, all has ended well. I measure the sole, take a picture and put it in the description, and I also remind buyers that if the sole measures 9.5 inches on the outside sole, then it likely about a size 9 on the inside. Again, worked out well for me so far.
This gives me confidence! Thanks so much for your comment and tuning in 😄
