What's crazy about this is him doing this with his vision as it is
What’s even crazier, is that he kept fighting professional bad asses with his vision the way it is.
Well he’s fought with one eye I’m sure doing drills won’t be too much
Echolocation
Fighting is all about adapting and that’s how he became champ
@@johnproctor6438 What's even crazier is that he won the championship belt with his vision the way it is.
What a pleasure seeing the Count here too! I’m a hardcore believer
Devil's Avocado
What's the advantage for the 1, 2 count ? Is there room for more ? Say a bigger combo ? 1 , 2 , 3 ,4 ?
@@PartyFights Yes. Boxing is very beautiful, every slip you do, it loads up any of your weapons. Look at him slipping to the left, if he throws a right hand at the same time he’ll use the hip movement that allows him to slip, to generate a power in the right hand simultaneously.
@@V12509 i see that. amazing how everything seems to come from a strong core and hips
@@PartyFights in UFC 4 you can learn a ton about boxing. for example when you do the slip to the side that Michael is doing here, you do like 4x the damage if you land a counter overhand, purely because it's a counter and puts you in an advantage if you successfully dodge because it's not easy
Simplicity at it’s finest. The basics should never be forgotten.
Best peace of advise was “it doesn’t mean ur not gonna get hit”
Props to Mike for not being like every washed up old trainer I’ve ever had who accidentally punches me clean in the face while going over techniques like this in front of the class
That would suck to catch bare knuckle sandwich just training like you described!
Só se você for uma mosca morta para levar um direto de direita no rosto, o treinador só enfia a mão na cara quando ele sente que o aluno é bunda mole , é o seu caso fale rápido sim ou não.
THE CHAMP. What a great success story he has. I love to see a family man rise to glory.
my problem is that I move into their punches and then it hurts twice as much lol
Kkkkkk
Stay balanced with form
Yeah they all think its simple but your opponent aint a body bag he moves all the time in distance using headmovement and footwork all the time so its a chess match anyway
I was thinking the same thing
Move faster, fast enough to get to the punch just before it's thrown and minimise damage. :P
My boy gots some pretty cool anime tatts
The gym is amazing if you haven’t checked it out yet. Really great art everywhere!
@@elmers2005 where at brother ?
Esepcaiily for his age. Kinda surprised for him to have something like Tokyo ghoul.
@@tutu7564 maybe he watched it as a young adult when it first came out
@@d3adgh0st12 oh yeah, shit came out in like 2014… damn I’m getting old too 😭
He looks great still. I didn’t like him years back but you can’t hate what he’s done for the game throughout his career. Legend of the sport!
Thank you Michael Bisbing 🙏
This dude is a fucking legend.
Left Hook Larry
This is sooo important for beginners that are getting tagged a lot when sparring. You probably aren’t moving your head off the center line!
Took me a while to get it. Now I try to apply it
Move their punch off of YOUR center line...takes little effort.
Wow! The guy still has it.
Crazy knowledge. We are the few people who gets to know this unique technique. I wouldve paid tousands of dollars to learn this. Thank you mike
Bisping is a true warrior
we love you Mike for real... legend ❤️
Michael bisping is and will always a legend of UFC
And I'm a huge fan he's one of my favorite fighters
I love Michael, one of my favorite fighter..
Bisbing is a beast
1 of my favorite fighters!
Greatest MMA/UFC champion of all time! Man did it with one eye!
michael is a true fighter! I was soo happy for him when he won the belt,,,
I love drills where you tell the other guy to hit where you arent. Dems de best.
That’s a man with one eye right there.
Fantastic
Бесподобный боец,респект и уважуха.!!!
I was a fan of him in the ufc and now I. Still a fan watching his podcast
Great drill thank you Michael
He is a nice and honest man!
Such simple motions, the thing that makes it hard isnt the motions of course, its mentality of doing it while punches are trying to hit you in your face! The warrior discovers safety by their resolve. A path to superior technical application
Legend
One eye and still can beat anyones ass… after a beer of course 👀
Gotta respect a guy who fought with one eye, dudes a fking legend.
Let's go!
Slipping the one and then the two si dangerous
Coolest most down to earth guy
excellent mastering of boxing bisping has... Former UFC Champion ...makes sense
So simplify and Nice
Bravoooo
Make sure you always switch it up as well, NEVER form any patterns because even low level fighters catch on quick and they'll start swinging where you always decide to move your head. Always switch it up.
THE COUNT!!!!
Yep! A good part of defense is rhythm. Constant movement and the endurance to maintain that constant movement.
Bisbing for sensei!!
Boss 🙏🏾
🔥🔥🔥
This is called the Peek-ah-boo
Boom high kick , headshot
I always got taught not to slip 1 way then the other usually slip, roll, pull back or parry if someone throws that right hand just slightly curved or a touch faster or they realize you do this your going to get caught moving into a big right hand.
💯
Ya people don't realize you gotta mixup your defense. Someone who's slipping left or right is wife open for the hooks . Mix up the defense
Thank you. Got it
Usman would like a word with this theory.
"it doesnt mean your not ever gonna get hit"
He had a tendancy to dip his head down to the right always and that got exploited, which is different.
Usman had the same idea.
And Cruz
Nobody doing high kicks in tha streetz. So slipping is excellent if you can do it
Throwin punches Like... Sean strickland 🤣🤣
Nice. A time for fighting; a time for teaching.
Bisping looking in great shape, big too!
F'N Bisping still got it !!! 👍
Beautiful motion Michael
The one eye god has spoken
Nice
This is why the champ was the champ
Dude his tats are badass🔥🔥
Perfect!🙂👍👍💯
My vision cut my fighting career down to nothing, broken orbital bone but thats life.
Love it
Fn’ warrior
With 1 eye gentlemen. With 1 eye.
Actually a great coach!
💥🥊💪😎👍🥊💥
Always moving!
I literally just commented my head movement sucks on the last video then scroll to this 👌👌
Poirier was the one that i first notice doing it
My next door neighbor showed me this in 1978 when I was eight years old.
Im trying with my one eyes closed👍
I like mike.
Tyson was the master at this
That Kaneki tattoo is sick
Yep!!.. it worked on L rockhold
Kamaru likes this technique
head movement, head movement
I was holding my nerve hoping one will land on the forehead or nose lol
Great video
Gedson why
Dan Henderson knocked your block off center
sean strickland fights like what bisping said not to do 😂
Thats why you ALWAYS tell your partner what you're going to do so he'll aim his punches BESIDE your head
My favorite counter. But you got to be really sure you re the faster man. And try it only once.
The Joe Frazier of MMA 💪
FISION es así.
Teacher Bisping...perhaps his truest calling 🤔
Bispin is the type of guy you think is a clown , but would take your chin off
This is how Usman got caught by that kick....
No
@@benbray4982 yes
@@benbray4982 SI
@@thebohemianzombie402 No. Leon led him further over with the fake and the straight with a standard 1,2 high kick. Usman over reacted an didnt have his hand up. Mike is just slipping with a small amount of movement and he has his hands up ready to block and parry should something else come. Look at the positions of mike then usman, they're completely different. You should start training.
@@benbray4982 try to get hit with a real high kick while moving that way even with the guard up (and Mike doesen’t have it) and then we'll talk about it. this is not boxing. and don't tell me what to do because you don't know me. Ciao.
Школа бокса!
One of the toughest bastards to ever set foot in the octagon
According to GSP, he was the toughest guy he had ever fought against.
Iove the fact there's people in the comments thinking they know better than an ex champion with a top ten ranking when it comes to most wins in the UFC. But no, let's ignore him and listen to all the experts here. SMH.
This is Boxing for........Boxing.
My luck I'd move my head directly in front of every punch
And add them kicks
Mickie B still got it
He looks like a juiced James Corden
Respekt Bruder 👏👏👌👌👌👌🇵🇱
Best defence is to move back, slip to get inside. Eastern European don’t have a lot of head movement. In and out
Left hook Larry
