I just added Litchi for my Phantom 4 pro. I came across your video and my compliments (even though it was 6 years later-haha) Good explaination and detail especially for a rookie with Litchi. Thank you for sharing your settings and added remarks on some of the features! 😀
I thought you were soo wrong when you described the Dynamic Home point. I quickly grabbed the Litchi manual, and you are right!!! The DHP in Litchi is so differant to DJI Go4 where it updates the HP to the AC every 15 mtrs or so!!!
No I haven't because there's a ton of video settings vids out there.. The video settings are the same on DJI GO and Litchi. I shoot in 4k 30fps for normal video, 60fps for slow motion. Contrast/saturation/sharpness all at 0. I use cinelike color profile for finer color grading in post but if you don't want to mess with grading just use none or vivid. Dlog is ok but can cause noise in darker sections of the video so I don't like using it for that reason. I use 64gb SanDisk extreme pro micro SD cards to record on. I'm currently saving up to get a real computer to edit on. All of my vids have been made using using my phone and powerdirector mobile.. earlier this year I bought a phantom 4 advanced and have been super busy ever since. Just haven't had time or the will to make any vids until I get a computer.
Thanks for another great video. Set the Map Safe Area Radius to 0 to get rid of that red circle. That is only an on screen warning and does't limit your flight.
What about customizations for your controllers.. 4 backwards forwards, YAW, so it's easy to do cinematic stuff that is a must for me.. what about the speed of your gimbal can you control that too?
muzikmon2267 yes, all those settings are in the DJI Go4 app. When you make these adjustments in Go4 they will stay with the drone and transfer to Litchi. There are several good videos others have made that explain these settings. I'll post a link....
A quick question -- I have seen where the still camera menu is accessed by the little icon with lines just under the shutter button in the app. Where do I find the little menu that actually allows you to ADJUST shutter speed and ISO; it has its own small window with plus (+) and minus (-) buttons and sliders. I have Litch and saw that once, but have never been able to figure out where it is after that, even after clicking everything on the screen searching for it. I think there is Tabs for Auto and Manual there too, which I also cannot find. Thanks for your video - very good!
AerialLensVideo pause my video at 0:43. Look at the top-center where it says IMU Preheating, look directly under that going across the top of the video display, in blue it says EV +0.0. Click that and it'll bring up manual exposure controls, once exposure is set the AE Lock will be highlighted.
THANK YOU so much! I never would have guessed that was a clickable "button." You solved the mystery and I appreciate it and your time in answering. That said, I really wish there was a User Manual for Litchi - I mean something with specific details like what you just told me. Some have referred to the flylitchi site under their /help page, but there is nothing there at all that would have answered my question above....unless that page has a secret button, too - Ha. Thanks again, my friend!
AerialLensVideo There used to be pdf owner's manuals available to download for iOS and Android. Looks like they went ahead and put it all on the help page in the different tabs (general, fpv, waypoints, etc..) It is briefly mentioned on the help page. But in all the diagrams showing buttons on the display it's not shown at all, guess they missed it.
Really??? I absolutely do not see where they mention how to do what you explained -- never would have guessed if it weren't for you. Seems so important and essential to the actual purpose of the app/aircraft (imagery), that skimming over any detailed photography settings is a major omission. I mean, they went to all the trouble of making a great app with detailed settings...and then do not explain them? Thanks again.
As far as I know Litchi doesn't use the NFZ data from the Go 4 app. I could be wrong on that but I've never had any airspace warnings while using Litchi.
Z Noble - Unfortunately Litchi uses the same APK content that DJI uses. That's how the're able to configure their firmware with most if not all of DJI features. I learned this after having a conversation with a Litchi representative, because I was in a perceived DJI No Fly zone, using the Litchi app, and couldn't get off the ground. I could have done a mod, though have sold the Mavic, and move to the ANAFI and Autel Evo. No NFZ restrictions, with either, and with the Autel EVO, FPV is an option using an Android phone, w/o having to spend $400.00 or so an a pair of goggles.
Sorry man just now seeing your comment. Yeah they say to turn off DJI Go before you use Litchi. It will have to be installed the first time you use Litchi though. it can remain installed on your device along with Litchi but you have to make sure that it's not running in the background while using Litchi.
@@HI-PSI yep that's all good done that.. I had set up the drone and in I with DJIGO4 APP then forced to stop.... Now set much I up all good... Hey on the much I APP I can't seem to find the tool bar at the left hand corner that lets you screen video?

This video I didn't do real well, you're doing a good job at explaining what's happening and how it works I don't have a drone maybe in the future
Have you done a video on camera and video setting for the litchi please

Z Noble - How is the most current version the Litchi app handling NFZ set in the DJI Go 4 app ??
