I'm advanced at this point of my crochet journey but I'm sometimes too lazy to figure out cool patterns on my own so I find it enjoyable to follow simple easy tutorials :) Gives my brain a break while giving nice end result still
Thankyou for easy pattern this pattern is very beautiful and lovely and stress free to crochet especially when you don't have a lot of time thankyou again and God bless
Great explanation for beginners. And for those of us who are advanced crocheters, it is a good reminder to always go back to the basics. Sometimes the more simple a pattern is, the more beautiful. Thank you for sharing your expertise with all of us.
I love your videos and I am not a beginner. I am rather advanced but I really really love your ideas and it's very nice to have a tutorial rather than reading a pattern!!
Hello Olga! Even the pattern is easy to do the scarf look beautiful 😍. Sometimes always we are need made one fast gift. Hugs from Bakersfield CA. 😘😉👍🌹😎😽
Thank you Olga so much for taking us beginners into consideration. I love your tutorials and look forward to trying this great pattern on a scarf. Thanks for all you do!
Your tip about double crochets is very helpful. Sometimes I get confused about where to put my hook. BTW, there is a program for foster children that asks folks to make red scarves to give as gifts. I am going to start one tonight using this pattern as yours looks so beautiful in red.
I came here from the leafy moahir and silk shawl because I couldn't figure out what you meant by the third loop - that's fascinating! Turns out I was so confused because, aside from being left-handed, I often tighten the yarn as I finish my final YO on a standard double crochet, which causes that loop to sit very flat and tight (you can't really put the hook through it). Time to go make some swatches to see where the differences show!
Such a wonderful detail on those dc. Though for me, Found the thick wool stitches hard to see that extra loop. Would love better view with less fluffy wool especially for how you work your dc into the chain. Seems you use the harder method of going under two loops. Is there a reason you prefer this rather difficult method. Tx Ola. Love this tutorial
I also have shown it in some of my tutorials where I used mercerized cotton yarn (summer scarves). It's easier to see it there. I agree that with thick wool yarn, it doesn't make a big difference. But when working with lightweight 100% mercerized cotton yarns or even cotton thread, it makes a huge difference. The stitches are neatly aligned one on top of the other, and it looks so much better. Hope this helps! :)
@@OlgaPoltavathank you. I will look for the tutorial with cotton. I so love the stitches to be straight. Is there a name for this technique or is it your own design?
I have one skein of Hobbi dolce, cashmere blend, and I am looking for a quick and easy scarf. Would this be a good option, or do you have a better recommendation on RUclips or your Etsy store?
This is a very simple pattern, but I think it will look lovely made with cashmere blend yarn. When working with cashmere or mohair I prefer choosing simple patterns.
I think you are referring to 4:19, because it looks like that's the end of the row, but it's actually not. I should've made it more clear. When I say "and that's how the pattern goes until the end of this row" I meant you will need to alternate making V-st, then 3 dc, V-st, then 3 dc. At the end of the row, you will end up with 3 dc.

Plz do tutorials on sleeves with corton yarn
Hi! What do you mean sleeves? Sleeves for what?
I have one skein of Hobbi dolce, cashmere blend, and I am looking for a quick and easy scarf. Would this be a good option, or do you have a better recommendation on RUclips or your Etsy store?
This is a very simple pattern, but I think it will look lovely made with cashmere blend yarn. When working with cashmere or mohair I prefer choosing simple patterns.
Hello, multiple of how much? please
Multiple of 8, plus 5
The end of your first row changes suddenly. It ends with a v stitch and a dc but then changes to 3 dcs. Didn't anyone else see this?
I think you are referring to 4:19, because it looks like that's the end of the row, but it's actually not. I should've made it more clear. When I say "and that's how the pattern goes until the end of this row" I meant you will need to alternate making V-st, then 3 dc, V-st, then 3 dc. At the end of the row, you will end up with 3 dc.
