From my soul, THANK YOU. I’m in love with your process, my heart sings. I just keep watching…until I start my own play in the morning, was feeling tired, now filled with inspiration and simply in love with life. Thanks for the joy and beauty you manifest. Heart hug from an 80 year old kid 🥰
His living space was beautiful but did anyone else's jaw drop at 07:51 when you visited his backyard workspace? Sheeesh #workfromhome goals! He's not embellishing when he says the inspiration for his work extends naturally from his environments. Another dope episode, I want to try pottery now!
This is so beautiful- the lighting, the videography, the process, his work. You are so gifted to bring out stories from such gifted people! His studio is absolutely dreamy. Off to buy more plants.
Beautiful workspace....I love all the plants. His sculptors are very cool, but my favorite is the white bowl with the cube base! Amazing that he is gathering his own clay!
Wow so beautiful...... gorgeous work, lovely energy...and a fabulous studio too! Love the way the greenhouse covering is opaque so his focus is always internalized.....
Totally inspiring! As a retired art teacher who is seeking to re-emerge ceramic journey I found Evan to be extremely “hope giving”. Thank you for this interview. I have subscribed to your channel!
I love this so much! When he shares his studio and way of working, his mind set and background, we're like the same person but he expresses his thoughts much more clearly than I. So good.
Really enjoyed this. Evan seems like a super nice guy and his creations look fantastic. I think his life style seems very cool and relaxed. All the best to him. Clark - your video are the best, keep 'em coming!!!
I love Evan's studio with his plants. How nourishing this feels. I wanted to be there. I would have preferred to have seen his work more than watching the narrater's hands moving. Good content and insight into the process. I really like it when the camera person knows what to focus on to reveal more of the purpose of the video. This would have made a much better interview if it had been longer, patiently exploring this artist's work and process in more depth. Maybe a revisit at some point?
Thank you so much for sharing this man's work! I feel super inspired to try out a sculptural piece similar to this. Not gonna copy any of his works though cause that's lame but the technique of just building up pieces of slabs to create something sounds so cool! :D
What is your favorite part of Evan's studio?
His water bottle at 8:31 lol
The rainbows on the walls!
Everything !!!!
wow. love all of his space
The white sails and the beautiful flow between his art and his life , absolute Grace ❤
I feel like 100x more relaxed at the end of this video than when it started. Love Evan's work & killer episode!

Working with clay is a good start in sculpture.
Great artwork!
Thank you for watching!
Did you ever fire the found (wild) clay in a kiln? and if so, how did you figure out what temperature to fire it at?
Some really good camera work
Thank you so much. Super appreciate you saying so and watching!
@@thequestforzest keep it up! I think you found your niche.

How awesome! Super enjoyed meeting him. Thanks for watching!
Great Stuff!
He is amazing
Nice sculptural forms.
Amazing! thank you!
You are so welcome!!
Evan seems like a very creative and unconventional person, I like aspects of his work. Is that a fabric covered tent like structure he works in?
Yes! It is a geodesic dome he built to work in.
@@thequestforzest thanks is it covered with a fabric?
@@edstud1 No it was some type of translucent plastic on the roof.
@@thequestforzest awe thanks, I thought it looked cool, does he use it year around?
@@edstud1 Yes but in the heat of the summer he said he only uses it in the morning and night.
Beautiful 🥰
Wicked awesome.
Thanks Adrian!
Cool video!! 👍 Thanks
You bet. Thanks for watching!
Nice vespa!
Thank you!
❤
🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
Thank you for watching!
Do not think I could work on a shaky table with a bunch of plant tendrils dancing around on the back of my neck
Me neither but the space really suited Evan!
he burns incense? i like this guy!!
Boy does he! He had such a good energy. Great dude.
oh goodness.. you don't fold you attach lol.. yep.. Austin was cool then .. they didn't fold but attached
Quarantine haha how many artists fell for the government propaganda 🤣 😂 🤔
hahaha. No. It speaks nothing to me.
boring .you can talk and talk and talk and it wont make it art...
This is very true!
