    色も形も三島手も全て素敵です、うっとりします。ひし形は型を使ってたたらですよね。型の自作を試みましたが⋯できる気がしません。いつか挑戦したい理想の器です。

      ご視聴ありがとうございます。木製の形を作っています。布をかぶせることで、型離れをよくしています。

    i'm so glad to wake up with your notification ^^
    Do you think it's possible to make the flower patern more deep to make something like an oroshiki for garlic or ginger?
    Thanks you for sharing your beautifull work ^^

      Thank you!
      I was thinking of making the inlay patterns like a grinder, but they weren’t practical. The ‘Kushime’ seasoning mortar was more practical and functional.

    Beautiful little plates. The corner notches were a surprise but really nice touch. Did you use two different glazes, one for the white flowers and the light blue for the rest?

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  Месяц назад +1

      Thank you so much. I use white slips for the flower inlay patterns and cover them with ash glaze.

    Hello, Did you used kaolin clay for this bowl ?

  • @Craxin01

    Were the notches carved on the corners functional or decorative?

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  Месяц назад +2

      I carved the corner because the edge was pointy. It was also for decorative reasons.

    this may be hard to translate but... what composition is your clay? I've noticed japanese bonsai potters seem to be using something kind of sandy but elastic.

    • @WatajimaPottery
      @WatajimaPottery  Месяц назад +1

      I’m mixing two kinds of clay.
      I made a video about it, so please take a look. I hope it helps.

    我計劃明年5月到九州旅遊,會到佐賀縣唐津城、武雄溫泉,請問你的作品在什麼地方展示,可以告訴我嗎?我喜歡馬克杯大小的杯子。另外,有好吃的佐賀牛肉料理餐廳或景點也可告知,非常感謝。

      Actually, I’m not taking on apprentices at the moment. Also, the kiln is located in a very remote area, so it’s hard to get here as well.
