My companion for this video series is Aakanksha Monga. We booked a budget stay and house boat in the first part of the episode and in this one we find out if the house boat that cost us INR 15,000 was worth it or not. I aim to recommend a lot of winter specials for this two part series from Srinagar in Kashmir. Like in this video we visited Ahdoos hotel, Chai Jaai, Polo market, Dargah road for street food and drove around the city. Kashmiri and Ladakhi people are so hospitable.
Our driver in Ladakh negotiated for car rental in the beginning of the trip as it concerns his job. But when my mum was admitted to hospital on our return from Pangong....he stayed with us till late and refused to take any extra money. It was very sweet of him.
I visited kashmir during September along with my daughter and wife, the kashmiri peoples are very humble innocents,we feel like home everywhere we visited.kashmiris are lovely and honest,

I visited Kashmir this August. It is one of the best places on Earth in terms of scenic beauty, hospitality, and cuisine. I fell in love with Pahalgam and Sonamarg. You should have tried walnut fudge from Moonlight bakery. It is a must-eat and an exclusive sweet in Srinagar.

I am not sure if I should say this but ok I am a gujarati I live in jamnagar and one of my friends who is also a gujarati hate being a gujarati because we do carry our famous snaks like Kachori gathiya dhokla and all . I've lived five years in Kashmir when my father who is in paramilitary was posted there. It's the most breathtakingly beautiful place you could ever go to and to have spent my childhood there was truly the most wonderful experience. ☺🌸watching this feels so nostalgic.

Toh vaha Indian army sahed ku ho rahe hain... Kuki vaha ke kux log miltant ko apne ghar main rakhte hain or army par humla karvate hain... Jo bechte sahid hote hain unke ghar koi nahi hota ...... Sala unki sahadat bhul kar tum log en chutiyo ki tariif kar rahe ho ye sab double face ke log hain... ....

Thank u for showing this side. I was there in jan and dal lake got frozen that time. It was super chilly. Stayed in a hpuseboat for 3 days and the homemade food was so awesome. Kashmiris are the sweetest ppl and i met an amazing person as our driver who have become my fav person now. People are so warm and friendly. Its nothing like media portrays. Many ppl dont know there is a shiv mandir too there which my muslim driver happily took me to.. and it was such an amazing experience of kashmir cant put into words. Am going again next summer to see the flower heaven..
