I visited Srinagar recently for Autumn season and booked a budget stay vs the BEST RATED House boat for INR 15,000! My companion for this video series is Aakanksha Monga We will find out if it is worth it and also, I aim to recommend a lot of winter specials for this two part series from Srinagar in Kashmir. Great video. I really appreciate your hard work. I am living only 6kms from Srinagar and mam as you are in Srinagar, you can also go to Pari Mahal and Haarwan. They are very close to Nishat Bagh. Moreover, Botanical Garden is also there and this place is heaven for photography. Again thank you so so much mam for showing the real image of Kashmir and please you should come to Kashmir in every season and capture it with your skillful cinematography. Kudos to your photographical mastery. At last I wanna say that have a wonderful time in Kashmir, enjoy, and go to your place with beautiful and loving memories of Kashmir. Peace.

@@AmarjeetNagra u can visit in December also, the autumn would b over by then since the winter has already set in almost and u might be lucky enough to see snow also. ..dere are many more places which u can visit like the jamia masjid, hazrat bal, nishat garden, gulmarg ( thats 35km away from srinagar) , u can also visit downtown area of the Srinagar city if u want to see the traditional houses and old structures. .. try out harissa try to have it in the morning thats usually better nd if nun chai is available have that also, try out saffron kehwa. ..being a native i might miss out on something check-out what other kashmiris will suggest.

Though July- September is the best time for trekking.

This dal road, opposite the grand lalit hotel, is the place we used to roam around when I was working in Kashmir. Sometimes I miss that particular place.

Mughal gardens Nishat,Shalimar, Harwan, Achabal, Kokernag and origin of Jehlum Veerinag especially during summer season.
Sonmarg, Pahalgam, Peer ki Gali, Aharbal Waterfalls during summer season
Gulmarg, Dal Lake, Hazratbal Shrine, Burzahuma in all seasons.

4k- per night for an average(deluxe)houseboat. That is the rate new blooming travel agents are offering this time. Anybody can reach to me for more info. For super deluxe it is around 6k(on twin sharing basis)

15000 is too much .As I am from Kashmir 4 to 5K was enough to stay there.
Moreover anyone from outside Kashmir
Can stay at our residence with Free 'Kashmiri Wazwan other Food item and Accommodation .But we can afford only 2 to 3 Guests per month .

Sister.. house boat owner has looted you..its rate is between 2500-3500 seeing its balcany.. when we friends meet up we book the house boat for 2000 even during peak tourist season.. sister please do good search when you have to book a hotel or a house boat.. rest, auto rate was reasonable.

But honestly I miss the solo traveller Tanya who was exploring places on her own. Like your Dharmshala, Bali, Namibia series.
