Got a 2021 GMC Canyon I called and purchased the blade light bar and the recommended harness for my truck. Got it all setup yesterday very simple and it looks amazing!

Does this quick connector avoid the “trailer connected,disconnected warnings people get and anything to do with the blind spot detection system.
We offer a harness for nearly every truck, for this particular harness it depends on the model. For anything Non-Ford and 2018+ GM, the answer is YES! For 2015+ Ford and 2018+ GMC/Chevy we recommend ordering one of our Blade Plug & Play Kits as harnesses do vary by vehicle model within the Ford and GM family.

Love to see you install the bar on a 2021 Ridgeline
This installation is fairly similar on the Ridgeline as the plug and play harness is the exact same. You aren't able to fit a full 60 in blade however.
I see the Putco BLADE LED Light bar is .375" tall; my '08 Tundra tailgate gap is .5"; since I do not want a permanent install, I would like to use the standoff clips; however, with the adhesive strip > standoff > light bar, will I exceed .5" and crush the lights when the tailgate is down? I'm unable to find the dimensions with this setup to verify fitment--any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot find the wiring harnesses as pictured in the instructions for the 529005 wiring harness, which is needed for the 2019 models. I see a wiring block on the driver side which I am still not completely confident on which wire is needing to be removed. On the passenger side, I think its saying that it is located between the bumper and exhaust. Nothing there. Anyone have any idea where this harness plugs in? I think the instructions are for the 2020 model, which could have greatly changed.
I purchased the Putco Tailgate bar and had it intalled on my 2020 Silverado. The right side of the bar has stop lighting up. What can be the problem?

I have a OBT7 Redline Triple LED Tailgate light bar Installed on my 2022 Tundra 1794. Everything worked great. No codes/errors on Dash. Then, I noticed on one of my cameras that when backing up and then stopping and then go forward from Braking that the whole light bar flashed Yellow. Sometimes it even does it when moving forward from stop. Has anyone experience that or can check their OBT7 lightbars

Is the blade driver box able to be disconnected to feed wiring through? I have a rollpan instead of a bumper, not sure how I could route the wiring if the driver box is not removable (I would reinstall it obviously)

My light bar is lighting up but flashing red anytime my signals go on. When in reverse, it flashes white...I called Putco today, and they said I need to buy a whole new set ?

the only reason we would not cover it under warranty is if you are outside of the 3 year warranty.
@Putco I have. They all seem ok. When I called customer service, they said it could possibly be a bad box, but there's nothing that can be done.

I just ordered the Putco blade 92009-60 60" light bar and Putco 529004 - Blade Connect Harness. The light bar has the white wire but I do not have the last red wire. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. 2017 Sierra
Hello Samuel, do not worry about that RED wire on the harness, it is a constant 12V power source but does not need to be pluged-in into the blade.

Hey all of this should be the same on a 2021 f150 correct?
Unfortunately with the way that Ford decided to do their tail light system it is not. You would have to splice wires if you were to use this setup. We have a plug and play solution for the F150 but it is a different part number. Please find our site linked below and all you should need to do is add in your info to get the correct part number.

There is a white wire with a black plug that is the wire for the reverse light. we hope this helps!

J Fike I have a 2019 Sierra 1500. You need a putco harness that plugs into the rear tail light plugs under the back of the truck if you get that harness there will be no hardwiring and the light bar works flawlessly. I just installed it two weeks back
