Beneath the Technicolor gloss of this MGM dance musical lies a compelling tale of dark obsession in this Swan Lake-centered tale from director Henry Koster. Young Meg Merlin (Margaret O'Brien) is mad about ballet, and equally mad about her ballet instructor, Ariane Bouchet (Cyd Charisse). When Meg learns that a rival of Ariane's is slated to play the lead in her school's production of Swan Lake, she finds herself driven to ever darker acts of sabotage. Swan Lake? Sabotage? Sound Familiar?.... Also features Danny Thomas.
Directed By Henry Koster
Starring Margaret O'Brien, Cyd Charisse, Karin Booth

I just realized remember scratch on her own life story ture life movie all about her own
WOW! She's amazing!
Just brought this on dvd and I can't wait for it to can don't know much about it but it looks good.
Can you post the whole movie=)???plz
U can tell she been trained good doing since birth.
I saw this when I was 6. I, too, have never forgotten the "accident" scene. I remember it being in black and white and when I was lucky enough to see it on RUclips (free) a few years back it was still in black and white. Why do they have to colorize everything? Some fabulous black and white films are
made to show the beauty of black and white and this is one of them. Danny Thomas in his first film. Not bad. Cyd Charisse was just wonderful.
I'll bet it turned a whole lot of little girls into aspiring ballerinas. Not me.
film meraviglioso possibile caricarlo intero in italiano? grazie
