Ford should have installed a tach in all 68 1/2 R Codes although once one becomes familiar with the CJ, especially the 4.30 rear gear ratio, one does not really need one. All types of people participate as classic car enthusiasts so there are bound to be silly alterations. Placing an after market gauge cluster in a make that is extremely rare is just downright goofy and BTW, is a Hurst shifter really necessary. The factory gear shift knob looks better and of course is original.
Yeah the Newer ones aren't my favorites either, but i do Love the 85-86 Foxbody Mustangs, had my 86 since 1994, and i just inherited a 96 Myself, that's practically like new condition, that style Mustang isn't my favorite, but it'll make an excellent Drag Car, It was Always garaged since new, Still under 30,000 miles, and it's a stripped down 3.8 5-speed car, doesn't even have power locks. I do prefer the Older Stangs too.
@@BoxerMustangLoverAndChristian So does Michael, Manny, Marcus, Mario, and many more that begin with the letter "M" Bob Marley had Nothing to do with Mustangs, Now Steve "M"cqueen would be much better, Atleast he drove a 390 epuipped Mustang Fastback, and last name starts with "M" !!!
Beautiful beast. One of my favorites and I would be proud to own it.

I would love to own a Mustang. My nephew had a 96 model, ugly as!

I’d like to name that Mustang “Marley”, after Bob Marley. 😉
Why ?
@@badass6.0powerstroke10 Because, think about it, “Marley” and “Mustang” start with a “M”. 😉
