Sidewinder huh, I would think more like a star or champion valkyrie where it has a nice turn but enough fade to come back. The sidewinder mold in my opinion is designed to turn and drift right and if you throw it hard and high enough it'll keep going right. At least that's what all my Dx sidewinders do. I also have a halo star one that's going to take forever to get to that point, it mostly just goes really straight and glides a lot. Its flies a lot like the Axiom Virus. Looking at your throws though it appears that the Inertia does fly like a sidewinder.
Been bagging an Insanity for a while by axiom. How’s the inertia compare? A little more or less flippy? My soon to be 58 year old arm makes the Tesla a beefsteak for me. Edit- according to infinite disc the inertia and insanity have the same specs. Diameter. Rim depth and width. Height They’re all the same so guessing they fly very similar?
Depending on plastics they are more stable, but a inertia in a flippy plastic can be less stable than a stable plastic insanity (think fission-cosmic neutron). I layer them for my 9-speeds, where the most stable one is my plasma inertia.
Neutron Inertia has been my favorite fairway for years! Way better than the Insanity. Try a proton for a more stable Inertia. I bag both for that reason.
Just checked my "Disc Bank" and sure enough, a brand new Inertia Plasma in a beautiful (if unfortunate) gold-brown colour that will be very camo under scrub in NZ... I must give it a go tho I feel the Plasma will be more stable.. and my noodles will make it even more stable... meaning my Fission Wave will be closer to that flight... ahh well.. hopefully he may have an Axiom Vanish or Insanity to fit the bill. Someone at Estero disc golf course is gonna find a beautiful disc... Had to laugh... All of these MVP/Axiom/Streamline fairway/distance drivers have the Glide of a metal trashcan lid. The plastic and conistency are top notch, but there's no real glide for the 80-85% of us regular Joe disc golfers. If you have a cannon for an arm, you're fine. If you're not hitting >350' on a line, there are better discs. Its like MVP sports has captured the putter/m9d market, but large holes in drivers for average sub 200 UDisc rated players.
Worst take yet. I've gained distance just from throwing mvp alone so I say bs about what your saying. Anything I've thrown by mvp goes forever with little effort.
@@randalkinard4521 I feel you. I loved my Lift, Drift, Jet and Inertia for flip and turn distance. I just go farther with less effort with my Teebirds, TL3, Sockibomb Evader, and Valkyries. The Trail being a singular exception. My Terra, Volt and Zennith are great for stable lines and into the North TX winds, but aren't my go to for distance. Maybe I'm missing some newer and slow arm friendly MVP molds. Being short and middle age, I'll take suggestions if it'll get me to a golf line 350' drive. Cheers.
You should try out the recent run of Fission Rhythm. It's domey enough that they bumped the glide up a 5.5 and it flies a long way without a canon for an arm.
Can we see this VS the insanity?
Insanity and inertia have a similar initial flight and turn, but the inertia tends to fade a little harder
I like the inertia but the insanity is my favorite, both in the bag at the moment
If you like flipping but relying fade try the impulse I’m in Utah so I have to use under stable
I like the feel of the insanity, but that's the most inconsistent disc I've ever had. Everything from flippy to OS depending on the run and plastic.
Interesting gonna have to try this one out. Thanks!
Love the Inertia- was a go-to of mine for a couple years

No, that's the roadrunner. The sidewinder comes back. Perfect comparison imo. Unless you have 550 ft power.
Estero! I didn't know you were in Florida
i love cosmic! its my local store! go cosmic dave!
My most thrown driver! Can do it all. Bit more stable than the insanity, at least in proton.
Love the Inertia. It's like a fast Rhythm and great in the woods.
Good looking disc!! Someone will be finding a gem in the rough...LOL
I lost two of these 😭 hey are there any discs that have -3 turn and 3 fade?
Check out the Orbital, higher speed similar flight characteristics even with slower armspeed
Lost the turboputt while reviewing it? Did you drop it down a storm drain?
Backhand roller into the woods. NEVER throw the turbo putt
This course is where my kids learned to play DG. My 12 year old loves the Insanity, I'll have to get him the inertia to try!

inertia is def more stable in my experience.

I absolutely love my inertia. It's my furthest flying fairway driver and gets the most consistent turn over lines for me.
What weight was the Inertia?

How does this compare to the Insanity?

Love my Inertia and my Insanity
Hmm. All the MVP/Axiom I throw and I have never thrown this disc. Looks like I need to.

Recently there have been several giro discs that have dome and significant glide. The rhythm being one of them.
