    Hi. is there a technology where the laser can detect a bulb light is off or on, from lets say 80 foot distance. Thank you

    • @robojax
      @robojax  2 года назад +1

      Hi, it can be done in a simple way using LDR to detect light ruclips.net/video/iNea_HM967A/видео.html but enclose the LED (light repentant resistor) in a dark STRAIGHT pipe so the light does not reach from to LDR from the sides except from the front. This the longer the pipe the farther you can aim to a bulb. Or you can use fancy camera system to monitor a bulb.

    I want to add something to go carts that when it is hit by a laser from another driver that it causes you to lose power momentarily, is there a panel or something that makes the area that can detect the laser larger? really just like a 6"x6" square. I would also want to make something you can drive over to give you power ups, the disabling laser to the front as well as a boost or a laser that shoots rearward also. When shoveling the dirt into the drywasher if there were somekind of sensors that could send a signal to block the flow of dirt until it clears up. Or maybe a weight sensor that could sense too much weight and shut the flow of dirt until it clears out...

    Hi Robojax. I would like to know if the receiver gives an analogue output. In other words; does the output amplitude change with intensity of laser light received, i.e. if the distance between transmitter and receiver varies, does the output vary too. I am asking this because I wish to make a short range vibration detector, where vibration amplitude is very small; in the sub millimeter range. If it is an analogue output, the variation will of course be very small, however, that can be amplified for visualising on an oscilloscope. The vibration frequencies I wish to detect are in the audible range, from about 200Hz to 4kHz. Any knowledge about this would be greatly appreciated.

    hi robojax, with this sensor would it be possible to log differences in the brightness/purity of the laser? • @robojax
      @robojax  4 года назад

      Hi Max, Yes it should be possible. This module is however made to give HIGH or LOW. if you find an OpAmp (operational amplifier) you could get variation of voltage corresponding to the amount of ray received. Then use Arduino to represent it to different level of smoke.

      Arduino can accept about 21mA load at each GPIO. I did measure the current for the TX. Measure the current and if it is below your the maximum output current of your board, then connect it, else. use a transistor or relay driver to drive the TX.

    For the laser transmitter, what do I need to connect it to for it to work? As far as I understand it just needs to be powered, but how do I do it. I can't connect it to the Arduino because for my project the Arduino is connected to a wall with the sensor and the transmitter needs to be connected to a door that needs to open freely. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry for the newbie question :')

    • @robojax

      Transmitter needs 5V either put long wire from Arduino or just another 5V to activate it. The receiver however need to be connected to Arduino so you can take action when obstacle is detected.

    Very nice Video! I have a question. Do the Laser Receiver-Diod only capture Laser ore other lights, like Sunlight ore a bright flashlight? Its important for me that the Sensor only capture Laser/Laserpointer...

    • @robojax
      @robojax  3 года назад +1

      Thanks. Because we do not send code, it is just laser rays, yes it will be affected by the sun rays which will have the same wavelength as the laser light. In order to prevent that, we should send certain code like turnning it ON/OFF in certain intervals and detect it making sore to ignore other signals.

    • @robojax
      @robojax  5 лет назад +1

      I don't know the working distance but I believe it should work for your application in terms of distance, but aiming would be very hard. because drone will not stay still in a location and even if it did, you won't be able to aim. but hey , no harm. Try it.
