She has done absolutely nothing to be labeled a Star. That's the problem with today's society y'all think the dumbest sht merits news coverage. Pathetic
Wish I could be there for that 1st date convo... Dad: So...What are your intentions with my little angel. Boy: Nothing, sir. I promise not to do anything that would upset you. Dad: ME?? If I were you...I'd be more worried about what SHE is gonna do to you if you try anything sideways😂
Boy: I'm a third-degree Black Belt in Kung Fu. Dad: (chuckles) Kung Fu? What is that? A dance routine? Boy: A martial art far older and deadlier than western boxing. Boy: I can accurately guess a man's weight just by looking at him, fight blind-folded, and disable a person within a second just by touching them. Dad: 😐 Boy: So...I heard your daughter can move her hands around really quickly? Is that epilepsy or...? Dad: She's a boxer. 🤪 Boy: Oh, that's cute. 😏
Good for her. Maybe she can inspire some of her cheer teammates to take up boxing. It's a crazy world out there & creeps are around every corner. A young woman should be prepared to handle herself.
This is awesome. Always love to see kids pushing themselves and building confidence through sports! Glad she has a strong mentor, she's gonna do (more) great things
The way the dad talked about her dreams. Made me wonder are those her dreams or his? Kids wants and desires of what they want to do in life change almost daily.
@@jesser007 Maybe, maybe not. My oldest daughter wanted to be a teacher from elementary school age. Every time she'd start to wander off course I'd be there to help her, even in college when she started to consider changing majors. Now she has her Master's in Education and multiple awards and has thanked me for not letting her give on her dream and loves her career more than she thought she would. Sometimes they need our help looking towards THEIR goal but not pushing them towards ours.
athletics are athletics, let her cheer, let kids be kids. and as a Virginian, im sure we welcomed her as we do everyone who visits. her confidence will carry her far.
She was right: not the time or place. She was part of a team cheering a team. Now if she was to teach the rest of the cheer team and make a routine out of it...THAT WOULD BE AWESOME! And, btw, I'm glad she's spreading her wings a little and doing something besides boxing. Cheering is certainly going to give her the social skills she is obviously not learning at home or the gym.
Things like this are why I say people are too harsh on Jake Paul’s boxing opponents. This girl Mia is only 14 & she’s been boxing longer than Jake. She started in 2016 at the age of 6. Jake started in 2018 at the age of 21. It’s hard to catch up to someone in a specific skill when they started in their formative years (before 8) & you start during early adulthood. Salute to Mia🥊🤙🏾
I remember when stadiums and arenas had the names of famous entertainers or athletes or the local sports group, etc. Now they just name them all after the corporation that owns it. One big free advertisement. AT&T stadium. Comerica Park. Ford Field. Little Caesars Arena.
I thought the video was going to be cute and funny. No joke here. She's the real deal. She could probably take any of the football players behind her. She's going to have a lot of fans at her next tournament. BTW, see the little cheerleader following her? Talk about an inspiration to other girls.
I just noticed and had to replay the part at 2:40. That girl's got more muscle mass than I do in my 30's, weighing over 200lbs and with a beer gut! 😳Welp... I suppose I could just click on another video since I'm already here. 😅
I'm glad u can lead me in the right direction to watch some of her boxing skills that's what I'm trying to get too , send link 🖇️ thanks 🙏🏻 @@knightu1642

A star in the women's class. So not a star at all.

@GtaGothamGriefer based
@GtaGothamGriefer she sure seems to be on the way to becoming a star. You're just too depressed and miserable to see the potential.
What an awesome Dad! Mia will go far in life.

Dude that is SO COOL! Boxing and Cheerleading, what a combo!

The mentality that makes a champion, dedication over motivation.
The positivity you get from being involved in sports really help kids in life. I hope all kids will be involved in some sort of sports.

They said she's #1 in both 75 lb. and 85 lb. weight classes. Maybe there's no nickname for them.
There isn’t really a name for it. The girl in the video is me! I’m not and 85 anymore, I’m now at 95
