Hey Cory! Love the videos as always. I believe there are five or six total secret tapes that you can collect to help get additional endings and lore. The secret tapes are colorful vs the standard dark grey vhs episodes. Some tips:
- Give the doll her favorite color flower
- Remember the musical notes on the 24/7 store poster above the cards
- When playing the Family (farm) episode that involves the weather wheel toy, pause the episode during each extreme weather warning and interact with the toy. Don’t worry about the times and locations. Your end goal is to land on each weather wheel option once, and in the correct order, to eventually open it. You may need to guess something wrong here or there during the episode to land on the 3rd weather option on the wheel. It’s harder to see what is vs the thunderstorm and tornado because *hint* it’s covered in cobwebs.
- In that same episode, when you’re prompted to answer what a daddy chicken is called, type in “Sam” instead of “rooster”. There’s a reason why Amanda sounds a bit different when she notices the daddy chicken.
* Also, this isn’t a hint, but a smaller piece of lore. Regardless of the ending you get, take a closer look during the rolling credits. Someone’s name is continuously blocked out. I wonder whose it is…
Hope this helps without spoiling too much of the gameplay. Can’t wait for Part 3!

There is a more direct and depressing way you can interpret the scene where Amanda, or Rebecca as she seems to actually be, asks you to help the lonely kitten. It's possible that the demonic entity controlling Amanda/Rebecca and the show is at this point paying very little attention to her since it knows her chances of escaping are slim to none. Sort of like how you'd feel comfortable turning your back on a dog that's locked in a cage. When Amanda/Rebecca asks you, "Will you help the lonely kitten?", she most likely is really trying to say, "Will you help me?", gesturing to the kitten and using it in place of herself in an attempt to deceive the demon because she's secretly begging you to help her. To free her from its control and let her soul finally rest.
Why else would she become increasingly frantic and worried as you continue to deny her request? What other reason could there be for the glitches becoming redder and more intense, as if the demon is beginning to pay increasingly close attention to what she is saying?
When she has that mental breakdown after the third denial and everything becomes glitched out and red, that's the demon realizing what she was actually asking and then punishing her for it by raising her in the air before contorting her "body". Then when the screen cuts to black and then to Amanda/Rebecca's eyes being replaced by many other eyes, that is the demon seizing more control over her and then repeating her request as if to mock her and you before coming for you next.

- During the first accident, it doesn’t seem like anyone can actually help
Viewing them all will reveal a final tape. After you view it, Perhaps let Amanda tell you her secret again?

For the pink spin toy with the warnings: you have to pause the tv when each emergency comes up and press the button on the toy so that it spins to the correct storm. Each time you pause the tv with the correct storm warning. you press the button and it will light up. It’s in order. First the Thunderstorm, then the tornado, and then the flood. Of all the new child-like scary games that have been released in recent years, I think this one is genuinely unnerving to me. Amanda makes me feel so uncomfortable that I feel like I'm on edge as each minute goes by. Watching the way she talks to Wooly makes me feel like I'm with a sibling, wanting them to stop talking so as not to anger our parent or something. And the distorted scene at the end gives me chills and heightens my fight or flight senses. This game is brilliant, I'm loving it so far.
I am too and I'm even making theories about the game. One where Amanda really is just a kid's spirit within the tapes desperately trying to bring more people into her world so she won't feel alone. Like for example she probably took Lauren away for that reason.

I didn't realize that at first
Alright Cory heres some tips to some secrets 1. In the tape where you mail a present to Amanda's friend in the background of the shop where you buy the card it has musical notes for the piano the notes are "F a c a d e" 2. With the paper with the symbols saying each color and whatever you need to use the symbols to find the yellow flower and give it to the doll 3. I know you were confuse with the storm thing and with the toy and when you use it it spins around so for this one all you have to do is when the Tv shows that storm spin the wheel so it lands on the storm and spin it again to see which one you have to look for next also side note I didn't know this until someone commented it but I guess "To get the tornado warning you have to get the "rooster" name wrong once as well". 2nd edit: 4. If you put Sam instead of Rooster it also unlocks a secret someone else said. Thats 4 secrets for you I'm hoping you can find the rest by yourself good luck - Dave but wait a minute I got a question when is re8?

The way she talks about rotting, being lonely, and at times begs the main character for help makes me think she was killed.
