- This is a very DIY solution to turning your truck topper into a pretty decent little camper. Just figure it out as you go and add in everything you'll need for a comfortable stay! Don't be afraid to experiment.

I'm 76 and for the first time in my life I'm facing homelessness or spending a LOT of money on hotels. Several times I've thought of converting a van into a small living space. You are always an inspiration and I appreciate your faith.
What I can't wrap my head around is how you have time for all the things you do and NOT be completely exhausted! You really are an inspiration, Brooke... If I had 1/2 your knowledge and experience, I'd be feeling pretty good about myself. Don't worry though, I'll take a nap for ya!

It reminds me when my aunt & uncle bought a full new camper, my dad bought a tall shell, built a couch/bed, a table/seats that would drop to another bed, and I think a small kitchen counter area. Mom made curtains and cushions with her excellent sewing skills. We took it camping in the sequoias. So much satisfaction with diy. Nice build. Nice short vid. ❤

This is how comfortable my van conversion is and my husband thinks I’m crazy for loving hanging out in it.
I love that if needed it can easily be used as a truck. It's very cozy. That would be fun to go camping in.

I love it! That would be a great minimal truck camper for roadside camping on longer treks like driving to Alaska! Much more luxurious than tent camping off the back of a motorcycle when I rode to Alaska.

WOW! Really came out NICE. Now you know youve got a side - line if things get rough. I know you didnt show it, but i think youve got room under the bed for fishing rods or whatever. It's beautiful! So cozy, You did a great job. I wouldn't know where to begin. I don't know a thing about cutting wood, using those battery screw drivers, or any building tools for that matter, measuring, cutting, hot glue guns, etc. I'd rather buy it all completed. I have no desire to do those things. I think it's great for those who do enjoy doing this stuff.

I was so excited when you did this. I have the same year, make and model and enclosed camper. Or so i thought. Truck is the same but my camper is not a high topper. I can still do something, like a platform bed. But just not as 'cool' as yours. You are the best.😊
