Go on paddy, without question Ireland,s best balladeer ever.... ☘💚☘
Shut up you fool
Everyone has a song, thats my song and the recording I heard it first on. That song, and his singing of it has stayed with me nearly three decades. Can't say anymore than that.
An absolute singing genius at work. Effortless diction, carry and power in a voice we'll not see again.
Best of the Old School singers; tells the story without trying to be a star, so he was a top star. God Bless him
Great vocalist ,great character too

Great voice but surely the last verse should be the hanging?
Great little ballad, UP THE RA🇮🇪☘
It's an English song.
And 🍀🇮🇪🍀🤔🤔
@@Wotsitorlabart Well it does reference Cootehill, which is in Ireland, "They took me to Cootehill, in a cart" so I don't understand you??
@@Wotsitorlabart just to clear this up, their is an English version and an Irish one, Ok happy now? 🍀🇮🇪🏴🍀
The English Version says he was hung at Tyburn Hill, but the Irish Version he is hung at Cootehill, hope that clears that up! 🍀🏴🇮🇪🍀
