Loving these videos. Even as someone who uses Framer and experiments with the platform a lot, I love to see how you guys intended the tools to be used and if there’s anything new to learn from the fundamentals. Keep them coming!
You are the best teacher! I thought I already knew all about Absolute Positioning. But watching your video was such a lightbulb moment into understanding how framer makes things work and forming a mental model around it. Thank you for questioning how framer does things and explaining nuances like pinning, z-index. Please keep content flowing. Can't wait to learn more!
yay that was great, really looking forward to the rest of the vids. it would be really helpful if you could do a video about Distribution in Layout panel, specifically Space Between / Around / Evenly (auto gap), as there's no explanation about it anywhere.
@@Framer the point is that if for example i have my logo i would like to make a page transition with it, so this can be a idea for an update or something
That would be impossible because EVERYTHING’S values would need to change to percentages too. Think about your typeface/fonts…. If they’re responsive based on percentages then they’d be changing size and readability would be awful on a mobile device. The use of pixels is what makes responsive designs so impressive, its shuffling around of elements so that photos can still be seen and text can still be read. Think of the Sidekick and Blackberry early web browsing experiences. You couldn’t read ANYTHING online because the entire web page shrank for that small screen (shrinking text and more) to fit, instead of being responsive and re-shuffling all elements into a new orientation to preserve readability / view-ability. 👍

Very well explained!! Thanks for sharing :)👍
Hi
How can I make
position: absolute;
right: 0;
left: 0;
margin: 0 auto;
I don’t see this option in Framer’s element settings.
Super valuable. thank you
You are good teacher
You should consider introduce to the page transitions a funtion that can make a transition with a mask (SVG or shapes) this will be amasing

Thankiu, this is really usefull
Please add Adobe Fonts it’s literally the only thing stopping me from moving to Framer
Why don't we have the option to choose value in percentages instead of pixels with top left right and bottom
That's a good question.

We need union selection, hello framer,do you hear us?
they dont listen to feedback… i seen their forums most of the request are from 2021 and they still didnt added that feature…
What do you mean by union selection? Grouping elements?

In this way the entire course will take almost 6months to complete. Stop being so slow and try to upload quicker 🤡
If only you could do these 🤡

We also wanted everything yesterday. Don’t worry, we’re speeding up though.

@@Framer finally, thanks.
This software is a toy. Their update broke the function of a basic site. I wouldn't trust this platform for anything beyond a high school project
Feel free to reach out to support@framer.com. This shouldn’t happen of course!
