Thank you for sharing this. I was looking for an alternative to the image minimizer plugins for my website. I'll definitely try these two options.

Thank you for sharing, Kay! I like Photopea a lot and have used it for resizing images too =)
By the way, if you don't mind... Can you do a video (or a series of video) comparing spectra blocks and the default Gutenberg blocks side by side? For example, the default image block from Gutenberg can't really do a nice float left effect, while the spectra image block can nicely float an image (without having the need of CSS like Gutenberg).
If you can do a video comparing those common blocks (Spectra VS Gutenberg) and your advantages, I'm sure it will help more users to see the big advantage of using Spectra.
    Just my thoughts.

It can be even better. Test the avif format.

Awesome indeed! For the moment WebP has a bit more compatibility with web browsers and also transparency in lossy compression.
But things go so fast nowadays that this may change very soon.

Would it be possible for you to show the process you'd use with Affinity Photo 2?

Plz convert 700kb file to minimum 100kb, you did mb file to kb, obviously it should look great

Sure, depending on the type of image it's totally doable :)
