Actually at the time this game was soo awesome! But then videogames as a whole grew like wildfire new innovations were happening so fast , Nowadays we often get ReMakes instead of fresh ideas & content....

Agreed. I have the Street Fighter collection so I’m finally able to play the original on PS4 and I haven’t seen so many cheap fighters in one game in my life. I was ready to throw my controller through my TV a few times; especially the early fights with Mike. And how it took a miracle to pull off the moves...I could write all night & day about how was ready to break my controller trying to pull the moves off. Half of the time when I finally pulled it off, Sagat barely pull out his tiger shot before me, or we double KO’d. Tonight I’ve had almost double KO against Sagat than I have playing this entire franchise since the original Street Fighter II.
This game is ridiculously hard and everyone cheap!. I'm using my ps4 controller not getting any magic or uppercut. Garbage! This is one impossible challenge. Don't get me started on the 2nd strike and that cheap boss who does Resurrection

Man Sagat destroyed you in round 2 with his Tiger Knees. But the final blow was legit with the Hadouken + surprise Shoryuken just like Street Fighter legend. :D
To be absolutely honest; the first street fighter 1987 game seriously sucks ass and its more of a lottery to win let alone pull off some moves. its not about skill issues, its about unresponsiveness and the game being unfair by design so the arcades got more coins inserted.

Reminds of Yakuza 4 of Chapter 2 part 2: The Tiger and The Dragon when Taiga Saejima, who has a tattoo of a tiger, escaped prison and ends up at an orphanage at Okinawa, own by Kazuma Kiryu, The Dragon Of Dojima. And they both fought and there were no winners or losers as Saejima collapsed from his beatings by prison guards. So in my opinion, this is my comparison. Ryu = Kazuma Kiryu Sagat = Taiga Saejima But the difference between Sagat and Saejima is that Sagat is a villain while Saejima isn't.
My big problem with that third round is that if we're going for SF canon, it's kinda off that Ryu won a perfect (or a "flawless v." in MK terms) round. You'd think each should've had 5%~10% health and Sagat would have Ryu on the ropes right before Ryu's final killing blow. Y'know, just to add suspense. Oh well... 😕

The best way is to duck all the time and attack. His tiger shot takes a huge chunk of damage. You need to avoid so duck and attack with shoryukens and hadokens.
+jose lopez I played it in 1987 at an arcade, then again in 1993. I have it on PS2 as a part of a Capcom Classics package. The controls in SF1 are shit. You'd hit the lottery before you hit 5 hadoukens or shoryukens in a row.
