The hollow body guitar used on Marigolds is such a beautiful sound that complements his voice so well. Kishi Bashi is some of the most wonderful music ever. I'm glad I was fortunate enough to find his music.
I would almost put them in that "weird pop" genre. Phoenix has an album called "alpa zulu" that I would put in the same category, which is weird cause they don't sound too similar, but they're both in the same genre, know what I mean?
