When doing any of the routes, it helps to start at the destination, then go to the grey mourner, clearing out enemies on the way. Just make sure not to bench if you do this.
@@future8856 The problem with this is reloading the game means all the enemies respawn anyway. The reason for the tip with Dreamgate is that it won’t respawn anything that you’ve killed, making the quest easier.
@@future8856 Oh absolutely. I did it the hitless way myself for all the anxiety points. However if people are genuinely struggling doing the quest then there’s nothing wrong with it.

I somehow love, how the essential fighting trick in this game is "wait for enemy movement and punish it" and somehow I was stupid enough to get punished by enemies using the same principle (hundreds of times).
The flower is rare! She just clearly had a very very long time to grow more of it. She probably knew she wasn't gonna get anyone with actual skills to help her with it.
The alternate way to never get hit is to play Shiek from the original Hyrule Warriors. No idea why, but in that game Shiek and only Shiek gets to be invincible so long as they are performing a dodge roll, and can infinitely chain them for effectively endless invincibility, since they have litterally 0 frames where they can take any damage while doing this.
I literally couldn’t do it without cheesing her with Stalwart Shell. But now that I’m doing the pantheons... I’m gonna have to actually learn how to beat her without simply facetanking D:

hornet 2 was realllly easy for me. like 1-2 deaths. no charms btw, fighting normally with no cheesing. but i must admit, hornet sentinel radiant was pretty hard, 1/2 NKG radiant difficulty.

Since big enemies don't respawn unless you sit at a bench, I only had to deal with small things, so it wasn't really hard. Flower quest is more about preparation and planning your path ahead if you don't trust your skills. Anyone else uses the planning technique?
Calling hoppers ads is the most accurate description of anything ever. Would like to see a guide to Deepnest or Isma's tear guide. (even though I'm already done with the game, these vids are fun.) Edit: You could also do a guide to the coloseum trials, since it could help people with geo farming.
Fun fact. If you bench in the station in queens garden. You can pick up the flower and then quite the game. This makes it that when you start the save you will have the flower and will spawn on the bench right next to where you have to put the flower

I see that quest as more of a quest you do once you’ve got all the power ups and charms so that you can use sharp shade, long nail, and fast nail to make things easier ( if you don’t know the sharp shade makes you dash a little further so it can help you dash threw the zombies with ought taking damage if you time it well)
If you wanna cheese it, you can first set a dream gate at the grey mourner’s place (don’t get the flower) bench near wherever you want to give the flower, then dream gate back to grey mourner, get the flower, save quit, and then reload the file, walk the minuscule distance left, (which considering what’s left for the actual flower quest, might pose a challenge for you lot, not you windy, you’re doing great). And flower quest done, easy. Note if you don’t have or don’t want to use dream gate, just walk to the grey mourner and don’t bench anywhere. Dream gate makes it way faster tho.
Quick tip: The flower dosn't get destroied when you bench warp ( quit out , so you respawn at the last bench you rested ) Most of the NPCs that have an interaction with the flower are near a bench , there is a station rigth above the grave (Traidor's Child) , dirtmoth's bench (Elder Bug) and near Oro's hut
The easiest way to do the flower quest is actually to start at the grave and kill all of the enemies on your way to the Grey Mourner. DO NOT BENCH!!! If you sit on a bench all of the enemies will respawn. Get the flower and then backtrack all the way to the grave. If you didn't sit on a bench then only the super wimpy enemies (Regular vengefly, Moss Creep, crawlid, etc...) respawn. This way while you are delivering the flower you only have to worry about platforming and the occasional super wimpy, not threatening at all enemies. Also if you're like 90% of players and always fail at the acid skips then you'll need Isma's tear.
Honestly, is there even one person here who has never completed the game (or watched a whole playthrough)? 😂 I mean, if I were a new player and didn't know anything about the game I couldn't even remotely follow this guide 😂
I played through a decent chunk of the game before losing like 7k geo to dying with an existing shade which made me restart the game in rage, at which point I used the guides to get back to speed.

Best way to do this, sit at the bench in queens garden's stag station, go to the delicate flower location without sitting on any other benches, get the flower, then quit game, go back on the file and your in queens gardens with the delicate flower.

I came here looking for advice on the Flower Quest, and accidentally got the best advice I've heard for beating the Hornet boss I was stuck on and also literally all of the info I didn't know I needed how did I miss so much stuff oh my god
There is cheese. After delivering to the grave, sit at the bench near Elderbug/Nailmaster, go to the grave without benching anywhere else, pick up the flower then save and quit. After you load the save, you will be at your destanation
"There's no straight way down" Oh but there is, my good sir, there is. C-dash left and just fall. Overtime, just move to the right as you fall and there you go. A clean straight (ish) fall.
In my two play through of hollow knight I’ve never failed the flower quest more than once per play through. (Unless you count testing the dream nail teleport where I was my first play through) I didn’t even clear out the rooms. I just equipped all of my minion charms and let them deal with as many enemies as possible. I just routed my own path that was relatively easy. My second try on my second play through I realized I could kill all of the big enemies on my rout and that made the quest extra easy.
Instructions unclear. Accidentally unlocked godhome, cleared all of the pantheons, and gave the flower to the godseeker.

no. bench at mourner. if it breaks, quit out to menu, and go back into the game. you'll be at the bench.

Personnally i did the flower quest and it took me an entire days to finish by giving it to the nailmaster ,elder big and the grave.
