one of the greatest songs ever written. kasey is still so incredible. her voice has only gotten deeper and lovelier and more resonant in the years. she's just incredible. always has been.

Kasey is Australia’s Stevie Nicks vocally. Such a great talent and voice, my favourite song is I still pray sang with Paul Kelly for vocals and Rattling bones for the music.
I used to play this song non stop when I was 21.

Kasey wrote this. It's really a genius piece, deceptively simple but once you understand the lyrics, it's pretty touching. She doesn't oversing it, just brings it along with her understated phrasing. I like this a lot.

Sometimes a song can break the boundaries of what it is classed as. While Kasey is regarded as a country singer, this song she sings is much more. Beautiful, haunting and thoughtful. I feel pain and happiness every time I hear it.

I really like Kasey and found out about her through the great Paul Kelly many years ago, but I do take issue with "While Kasey is regarded as a country singer, this song she sings is much more". That is a rather suspect opinion of country music.
