I feel so BLESSED, and so LUCKY to have seen Kasey and her band in Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia years ago...really one of the BEST concerts I have EVER been to, what a talented young Lady...and THAT VOICE!!!
Kasey is a great musician - I saw her in England when The Captain was her latest album. That gig was one of the best I've ever been to. She was a bit quieter then. I'd love to see her in England again - she can shout as much as she wants. Love you Kasey. ❤❤❤

Stumbled across her on Austin City Limits back in 2000 on PBS and was struck immediately. She didn't tour much in the states or anywhere outside of Australia much, really. She got married and I think had kids, hooked up with Shane Nicholson and saw them both in a club back in August of 2011 with her famous dad record producer legend. It's real art like we don't get much anymore. And, I don't even love this particular genre. She's just the real deal. She would have to have sold out and moved to Nashville and run pop garbage if she was ever going to be famous or whatnot. Great stuff, though. She has the gift of melody and the rest just follows.
I must have missed something .How is it possible that a music eat it all like me has never heard of this lady .I tried every record , cd or tape I could find , heard 1000's of bands and performers and this slipped through . Great voice , one that has experienced life in all it's shapes and forms . Too bad I've missed all these years , but ok I'll try to find any recording that she participated on/in . I mean , Wow!
Simply wonderful! I'm still bummed her Berklee College concert was cancelled way back when -- 16(?) years ago -- because Kasey was sick. My then 8(?)-year-old daughter and I were both huge fans and were very excited about the show. (At about 5-years-old, my daughter sang "We're All Going to Die Someday" at a family reunion "talent show", long before knowing what some of the lyrical references were to. Some of the elders were horrified. lol.) If we're traveling together, Kasey still gets played in the car more than any other single artist. May she keep writing and singing forever!
Been a fan for around 10 years and I have a huge problem with her. Why won't she come and tour the UK !!! Seriously though, one of the best voices and songwriters I know. Always liked the lite production on her albums. I have in my mind always dreamed of a collaboration between her and Karine Polwart

Superlatives..love her personality as much as the music....wonderful laugh she has Her songwriting and singing(and guitar playing, lets not forget that) scary good..... I found her thru the music. critic Robert Christgau, who has been raving about her in his reviews for years
Kasey is right in the middle of my '85' and my mother's '65' age. We had plenty of Chambers pumping in the NSW rural town growing up. Who is Brandon Dodd? Hopefully a close Aussie chap being shown the reins..? Goodluck to you both!
That song Aint no little girl, Probably the best song and vocals Ive ever heard come out of a pair of lungs EVER! Amazing, especially being a live acoustic session. Gave me good chills!
How is she not hugely famous in the US? She's terrific. So is the kid.
