In Honda City, the diesel engine is still fairly easy to use as far as diesels go, in the sense that it’s not one that delivers a sudden or violent turbo surge. Tractability is still decent and given that it’s got good torque low down, it’s an engine that’ll keep up with traffic and manage overtakes without necessarily needing a downshift. First and second gear are still short so you will find yourself upshifting early, though. Similarly, highway cruising is a strong point for this engine and it makes for very relaxed cruising around 100-120kmph. Whereas, in Creta, the pick of the lot is the 1.4-litre turbo which we’re driving now. At 140PS, it’s the most powerful in the lineup. The engine is nice and peppy across the rev range with plenty of pulling power when you step on the gas. It’s also nice and linear with no perceivable turbo surge but it’s not the kind of engine that will have you chasing the redline either. So it shrugs off daily duties in the city and highway cruises with ease and there’s always more performance for a spirited weekend blast through some corners. On the other hand, the XUV300 is a rockstar of a road tripper. With 115PS of power and 300Nm on tap, the baby XUV can really make the scenery a blur. It almost feels like this 1.5-litre diesel engine was made for an open stretch of road. You can bank on that torque almost all the time when you’re cruising, and simply prod the throttle to get a move on quickly. Moreover, for a better understanding of performance and driving comfort, we would suggest you take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership: bit.ly/3AwoW7F

Selecting between Honda City, Hyundai Creta and Alcazar would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. The 2020 Honda City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still be one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well-balanced sedan and a chauffeur-driven owners delight. It is larger both in length and width, comfortable ride, better interiors, more legroom in the back seats and a great feature set. Whereas, With a more sophisticated ride, comfort, and features list, the Creta sure makes a strong case for itself. Comparison between mini-suv and sedan is like comparing Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) as shown in the registration plates of the vehicles used in the video as well. Both are different! For me a sedan makes more sense in terms of comfort, drivability, luggage space and other features especially while driving long distances on highway. For fun, you can always buy an old Jeep or Gypsy and modify it as per choice. 3-4 lac saved on sedan over so called mini SUVs can help you buy a good off-road Jeep

City CVT 5th gen is awesome . I booked one today. Better than pseudo SUV. Felt Creta too basic compared to base City V CVT. Creta steering is just not for enthusiastic drivers , very light and vague compared to City
@@arnrjjrjrjrbb city is a no nonsense family car. Only drawback is mediocre sound insulation and bad reverse camera. It’s been a very reliable no fuss car till now in all other aspects. GC is more than sufficient . Very rarely the engine guard scrapes if driven heavily.

Hyundai is the new Honda! I mean Honda when it was at its peak in India. (read Civic days) Most people who would buy a Honda now are first time car buyers who aspired to have City in their garage someday. Little do they know that the brand Honda has severely diluted since a decade or so. Not the same image now. That aspirational value is gone. Not to mention this affects resale value too, moreso for a sedan. Hyundai is at its peak now, perhaps. So imo going for Creta is a much better choice. As I said, Hyundai is the new Honda!
I am very tilted towards city but i will end up buying seltos or even harrier if i wait for 7-8 months ,reason city's very low ground clearance and in my city people make humangous speed breakers in front of their houses , they think those will protect their children

The most commendable presentation and description I found.. it is Afcours all major points we all needed but the way this reveals got me clear the most as among all.. Thank you
Liked your video...Anyway my confusion still persists..My most of the driving is in local city and occasionally visits out of city...Which vehicle between honda city petrol CVT or creta will be a better choice considering ride comfort, safety and practicality for a family of 3 adults , 2 kids.
For your case, City CVT top end model with led headlights is the best. The luggage capacity of the City is also enormous. I fitted 7 suitcases, a few boxes and then some other stuff into the boot.
Honda City is GNCAP tested and it showed honda took lives of us Indians seriously from long back and did not make compromises on body quality just for the sales number. The Koreans need to show something in this regards. Most of their cars are tin cans. ( No one should take it personally, We have owned a hyundai in family ).
Why is Creta the best in India ...........because it has greater ground clearance which is suitable for Indian roads ......................Powerful than the city ...................spacious ... ........... greater headroom ................... panoramic sunroof ..............its shape .................. Dont call Creta a suv,its a Crossover not suv with pathetic built quality, handling, safety and comfort
Honda City is best car with overall comfort, space, reliability, safety, handling and built quality
Yes, you said the truth
Namaste sir.
Wagon r zxi Magma grey or nutmeg brown which colour is best.
Please suggest me.
Thank you very much.
Go for Magma Grey
Any day sedan bcz mileage acha milta he aur aj kal koi bhi off-roading karne kelie car nhi kharidta he 😆 aur suv ka suspension b hard hota he isile use me pothole jyada feel hote hein....aur ek compact SUV jaraha ho aur ek sedan jata he road presence jyada sedan ka h hota...aur suv abhi ek bhed chal he aur trend hogya he
I have honda city ivtec 2012 3rd generation India. I have took test drive of this creta too in the hills.
Nothing can beat honda city even if its that old. What a driving dynamic.... no body roll at all even at higher speeds, it gives so much of confidence and that rev part .... jst woooowwwwww
I will go for Honda city but I choose Petrol Automatic(CVT) instead of Hyundai Creta DCT Petrol
Which is better for indian highway Honda city or Ford ecosport

If its diesel which one you will choose City or Verna ?
Selecting the right car would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, cabin space, engine options, brand preference, etc. If you want a car with sporty looks, a better feature list, a premium cabin experience, and like to spend time in front seats, you may go for Hyundai Verna. The Verna's never been a car that had something exceptionally exciting to it. It just gave you the right balance of quality, comfort, and features which made it a tempting package. With the facelift, that essence hasn't changed. The claimed ARAI mileage: Hyundai Verna Diesel is 25.0 kmpl. On the other hand, The 2020 Honda City improves significantly on all its faults and some of its strengths too. It does skimp out on some wow features and is still be one of the priciest options in the segment. But it continues to be a well-balanced sedan and a chauffeur-driven owner's delight. The claimed ARAI mileage: Honda City Diesel is 24.1 kmpl. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test drive for a better understanding of performance and comfort. I’ve a family of four plus a dog which one would be suitable for me? We’re planning for the city but would the dog be comfortable in city or creta is better?
As per your requirement, we would suggest you to go for Hyundai Creta. Creta is one of the most feature-loaded compact SUVs. Creta offers Comfortable and quiet cabin. It is spacious, loaded with features, easy to drive and offered with powerful petrol and diesel engine options.
Cardekho has been favouring hyundai too much! City is perfect all rounder. Believe me! I have seen people travelling with 2 dogs in new city very comfortably.
@@cardekho So dogs are going to use useless gimmicky features in Creta..such garbage logic cardekho
City has way more space, comfort than creta
Also Creta is not safe as sister seltos got 2 star rating but New city got 5 star

Honda City
Comparison between mini-suv and sedan is like comparing Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Tamil Nadu (TN) as shown in the registration plates of the vehicles used in the video as well.
Both are different!
For me a sedan makes more sense in terms of comfort, drivability, luggage space and other features especially while driving long distances on highway. For fun, you can always buy an old Jeep or Gypsy and modify it as per choice. 3-4 lac saved on sedan over so called mini SUVs can help you buy a good off-road Jeep
Its like comparing UP with developed Maharashtra.
It needs to be compared because it's about us confused people, who want to know if sedan or SUV will be better for us
@@Songs-lr4wt If a proper SUV fits your budget then go for it. But if you are looking for pseudo SUVs then a proper full length Sedan is a better option.
Any day I would choose the city over Creta, but as my personal experience, I hurt a lot when it hit the speed breakers. Apart from GC the vechile is phenomenal ❤
City CVT 5th gen is awesome . I booked one today. Better than pseudo SUV. Felt Creta too basic compared to base City V CVT. Creta steering is just not for enthusiastic drivers , very light and vague compared to City
Yeah bro you got till now na ?? i want some advice from your 7 month experience
@@arnrjjrjrjrbb Yes bro. 15k kms completed.
@@swaroopraghunath any feedback or advice ??
@@arnrjjrjrjrbb city is a no nonsense family car. Only drawback is mediocre sound insulation and bad reverse camera. It’s been a very reliable no fuss car till now in all other aspects. GC is more than sufficient . Very rarely the engine guard scrapes if driven heavily.
Do consider slavia 1.5 if you have budget.
Link is not there in description
City is more value for money if not better. City VX automatic offers cvt gearbox, 6 airbags, connected car tech, sunroof whereas creta in the same price offers very less features.
Hyundai is the new Honda! I mean Honda when it was at its peak in India. (read Civic days)
Most people who would buy a Honda now are first time car buyers who aspired to have City in their garage someday.
Sedan is made for business class and suv for sporty and rugged feeling
I have both the cars. Still i prefer city on highway and creta on bad roads
City comes with ivtec now that too with double camshaft soo win win for city petrol ... ❤️❤️❤️
I am very tilted towards city but i will end up buying seltos or even harrier if i wait for 7-8 months ,reason city's very low ground clearance and in my city people make humangous speed breakers in front of their houses , they think those will protect their children
I had City from last 4 years, City is a best sedan, smooth, comfortable, love to drive, but it lacks in ground clearance which is very low, because of that it's not comfortable in rural area..
Now I m looking for Creta..
Ghar sey nikaltey hee , offroad suru ho jata hey.
Indian road is pathetic 🥴
city anttime.....comfort ,mileage...boot space...luxury
And most impotant safety bro ...5 star safety rating
Which one is better Seltos deisel or creta deisel secondly vfm variant ofcourse not a fan of sun roof at all Pl reply thanks
Go for Seltos. It has more safety and drive quality features compaed to Creta.
Sir creta ki khon si virient me sunroof milta plzz kyu ki top modle ke paise nahi hai
VX has sunroof
I own creta dct, sedans are better because of riding experience
The most commendable presentation and description I found.. it is Afcours all major points we all needed but the way this reveals got me clear the most as among all..
Thank you
Our city the top end mordel is comming on Monday I love the city because of its comfert pls try it bro itis op yar
Liked your video...Anyway my confusion still persists..My most of the driving is in local city and occasionally visits out of city...Which vehicle between honda city petrol CVT or creta will be a better choice considering ride comfort, safety and practicality for a family of 3 adults , 2 kids.
Safety, comfort, mileage, ride quality, space-city
Creta only is good in ground clearence
For your case, City CVT top end model with led headlights is the best. The luggage capacity of the City is also enormous. I fitted 7 suitcases, a few boxes and then some other stuff into the boot.
Cityyyy is the best 💪💪
Awesome video. To me City 5th Gen wins hands down.
You are comparing comfort (Honda City) and confidence (Hyundai Creta).
City is much better for regular use from all angles.
For ur kind information
Creta is mid size suv and city is mid size sedan..... 0:29
Sedan will wreck up any suv for sure in its segment..
The looks of Honda City is better than the whole career of Yaris and Changan Alsvin
This is what I was exactly waiting for
yes
this is more creta vs city but needed to be sedan vs suv more
Honda CITY any day!
Why everyone say City City!!, Why not Verna or Creta ?
@@muralivihar21 these are petrol buyers and there is no match of city in petrol
Am confused that what is the main purpose of sedan for stunts ya phir traveling ya speed
Hii I am big fan of nabeel khan because he does commentary so well
I was confused in creata and city so I buyed Amaze 😅
Get a English speaking course from the money saved
I want City automatic for city use and Creta manual for my weekend trips 😁
City petrol manual 🔥🔥🔥

Then buy both car Honda City and Hyundai Creta😂😂😂😂😂
Honda City is GNCAP tested and it showed honda took lives of us Indians seriously from long back and did not make compromises on body quality just for the sales number. The Koreans need to show something in this regards. Most of their cars are tin cans. ( No one should take it personally, We have owned a hyundai in family ).

Why is Creta the best in India ...........because it has greater ground clearance which is suitable for Indian roads ......................Powerful than the city ...................spacious ... ........... greater headroom ................... panoramic sunroof ..............its shape ..................
SO I SUGGEST CRETA
Nice work By Nabeel Khan & Cardekho
Creta is my pick 🔥
Roads are getting better. India has better roads than Italy now. Ground clearance is becoming less of an issue now.
Nice introduction logic
even in airplanes they sell you extra leg room on premium, India me height mil jaati hai space sasta nahi milta.. that is why the spacious feeling of Honda i found appealing, creta looks big and premium features ke sath bhi but jab aap city me hote hai to log bolte hai..are wah Honda City ❤.. creta is one of many trending SUV
CarDekho Badhiya Comparison👍👍👍👍👍
Proud City Owner. Vtec is unmatched. All SUV lovers should try the City.
Sedan hands down for comfort and luxury.👍
I shortlisted these two vehicles and this video is helpful to decide.

What did you decide
I like Honda City rear seat-

For me two are the best and have both of them ,simple.
City honda sidan milage & more comfortable ...I like City honda automatic petrol 👍🏻
Most of the comments are in favour of sedan while in September 2022 there's only one sedan in top 25 selling cars
Ground clearance of Creta is the biggest plus on our broken roads (at least here in Mumbai). City would scrape every speed-breaker :(
Lol, my City has never been scrapped yet after driving it for 50000 kms.
Honda city is king !!! Btw those guys who are talking about roads....guys.....our country roads are improving every year...so city is best ...
Bro in simple sense if you do long trips like 200km or more sedan is for you or you are a sedan lover for its looks other than that go for suv
Really informative.👍
Your explanation it too good to hear
Thank You.
Much waited comparison! Good
I will choose DOHC i.e. Honda city
