I've been wearing ribbons in my hair since I was 5 and never grew out of it. For work I wear a different colour bow for each day of the week. I will never stop 😂 it's so affordable too. I just go to the fabric store once a year for new colours. So I loved the bow trend for 2023 I've always been the type who knows their own style and does not go for trends unless it's for inspiration. I've been wearing my same Peter Pan collar dresses since 2012 🤣

I think skirts over pants became fully realized as a concept this year. Like, keeping it cohesive from top to toe, it's simply part of a larger ensemble (especially with a miniskirt, which is kind of a large belt really). It reminds me of salwar kameez at this point, so it's definitely entering timeless for me, even if it has to be very intentional. Nobody is more surprised than me 😂

Super biased - watching Bliss Foster's history of Margiela got me into fashion and sewing. I own a pair of 4" heel shattered mirror tabis I got as my third pair of Margielas (after the AW12 H&M colab Bianchetto side zips and the SS14 Ostrich side zips in teal) and snapped necks and got three compliments wearing them my first time in public at a Target. It's that same feeling I got wearing heels the first time in public as an AMAB person - tall, magnetic, vaguely menacing. Love it.
