    i found cider early last year and they were fully marketed as being ‘eco-friendly’ and fighters of fast fashion by using slow fashion techniques like only having limited designs and producing small batches of the clothes. this year they have completely changed with SO MANY pieces of clothing being produced and defeating the original selling point of their brand! so disappointing they are total hypocrites :-(

    • @LisaFevral
      @LisaFevral  2 года назад +23

      yeah, I kinda realized recently that these "eco friendly" practices are not really eco friendly, as much as they sound like it. Like they say they are almost 0 inventory, and yeah, they are, but they are 0 inventory only on a technicality. They don't own the warehouses that their stuff is at, bc those belong to the factories, so technically they can claim that they have 0 inventory. It's little things like this that theyre using to come off as better than others companies, and thats so scummy. Bc if you're fast fashion, just say so, it's just so messed up to be this hypocritical

  • @alyssagangi5341

    Omighty has been around for a pretty long time (probably around 2010) and they make their own designs. A lot of drop shippers copy their designs. Still fast fashion though.

  • @gracegarand9318

    And what’s even worse is that all of these are shipped-which creates even more waste than shopping in person does. Especially when they don’t accept returns-that means they have to order another product while one is being added to the waste. But you had a fantastic video!! Lisa seriously I love your vids🥺

    Welcome to the world of drop shipping I guess? 😂 I'm not surprised that these brands are exactly the same, down to their cheesy about us and to their products because they're all selling cheap clothes from China. Most can be run singlehandedly by one person who just plugs in the info, manages orders and spends money to advertise to people. Living in South East Asia, we have Shopee which sells the exact same clothing you see on your Cider, Jocicic, blabla etc from Chinese manufacturers. The only difference is that the manufacturers on Shopee have no name and no backstory. We know we are getting factory clothing. Looks like these Cider copies are trying to make it seem like they are better than factory clothing when they are just fast fashion. Anybody can set up a shop online now and dropship clothing. The template of the website looks the same because of this too.

      @@HaimCovers hello!!! It arrived today so overall it took 10 days to arrive, i ordered the 31st. I checked tje clothes and for the most part it's like the quality like from forever 21 like some articles are thin but they're good you know? Lol. I ordered some jean pink shorts and they're actually really thick everything looks exactly like the pictures the only thing that was weird was a pair of pants that are actually not flowy thin fabric and idk why but the waist is ultra small lkke i ordered it bigger in case and still it's very small. Overall I'd say for the price it was good

      Agree to disagree they have a sort of funky vintage style that I think looks good then again some people tend to like more average styles =]
