    I've known (and loved) the Naturally album for many years but until watching your video I hadn't realised there were so many musicians playing on it. I had assumed (wrongly!) that that fab "demo" sound was because it was just JJ Cale doing (nearly) everything. Something new every day...

      Well he did work as a producer. And although he's not credited as a producer on the album, i'm sure he had played a big role on the overall sound. It's a great and interesting album in many ways.

    Clapton was heavily influenced by J.J. Cale, you can tell from Lay Down Sally and his cover of After Midnight. Along with many others that took from this highly underrated musician.
