The top pin holes you were using are for the dig angle. You should have a pin only in them. The tow arm should be in the lower hole and as you pull the arm lifts to the pin above and the anchor is directed down
Hi Robert , man i am sorry to tell you but you got me rolling 🤣 LOL , the main bar , the one that attach to the winch line suppose to connect to the bottom pin and the other 3 pins are to adjust the angle you want the blade to dig , the reason that it dont dig deep in your attempts is because the main bar is not fixed in position, so the blade wants to go parallel instead off an angle , this things are really effective when set up correctly you dont need to step over it to try to make it go down , believe me the problem whit this anchors is getting them out once they buried ! i have pull a excursion whit a trailer on out of the soft sand in PINS once, I end up giving that anchor away to a friend because in my GX the maxtraxs are sufficient , mine was a Smittybilt.
@@CoastalGX I hear you man, mine does not came whit instructions either but i got a friend that works on heavy machinery and he figured this thing out , hope i can make a trip over there soon i have never being in that side of the cut !
Just looked at the pic on the website and it looks like you are 100% correct. But in the PDF instructions it is totally in the top hole in the expanded view.
Robert it look like the a her has to be 90 degrees down in order to hold down the archer and start pulling out the vehículo 🚗, but you guy are trying I am just saying it my work too Robert like always God bless you and your family thanks for every video that to post
Yeah I’m afraid you haven’t assembled it correctly to dig in properly and it needs a strap or cable attached to the back end so you can drive over it and hook to your back hitch/ bumper recovery point and pull it out with the vehicle. I saw a rice farmer use a bigger one before and they work great…. And pull out easy with the truck/tractor etc.
@@CoastalGX about the only way it would work, That 4x4 was not even bogged. Just dug the back wheels in. Sand was hard sand. Not like the soft stuff we have on the beaches here in Western Australia
We have nastier areas than that, but his Jeep was overheating. I can’t even bury mine in the sand if I try. There’s another video that shows we abandoned his vehicle. Australia has some awesome spots for sure. That’s where I drew inspiration for my build. I’m lucky to have the two longest stretches of drivable beach in the United States. We have all sorts of sandy surfaces, but unlike Australia, the feds don’t allow us to get on the dunes or they’ll fine us.

Did you try putting it in the tow pin instead of the angle settings?
Only the way we show it in the videos.

Thank you! @@allbeardadventures8447
Pull bar mounts in lower pin and upper pins is stopper for different angles.
Thank you!

Man, I wish you would’ve been there with us 😭. There is no real instruction on how to use the dang thing. Thanks for sharing the helpful info!

Did you check out the new GX?
Yes, daddy likey! 😂
I'd rather have this sweet Cherokee.
The perfect beach cruiser.
✌️♥️✌️♥️
I think it needs to have lower pin holes, so it doesn't pull on top. If need you can did a hole to put it in deeper. Have a great week!!
Thanks, brotha. 🙌🏽🎥
The tow arm was pulling the Blade up instead of down, that can be adjusted.
I like my 12K Smittybilt winch for logging, it has never let me down.
Thank you for the feedback 🎥

Hi Juan, it’s a tricky tool lol. Saludos!! 🙌🏽🎥
Robert you know that I am a person that follow your videos no matter what god bless you and your family AJUA
i like to see 4x4 get out of mud or sand with land anchor because no body install winch on 2 wheel drive
One of the guys hanging out with me has a lifted 2wd 4Runner with a winch. He does very well with it. 🙌🏽🎥

Quite possibly 😅
Bury the front as well
10-4
The knock offs are terrible, don’t waste your money on that garbage. The PullPal actually works.
Thanks for sharing
Your on the hardest sand in the world
Practically pavement, lol.
Lol
The shovel needs to go more straight down, almost 90 degrees to the angle of the cable 🙌
That sounds right. It’s a tricky tool and this may be possibly the only video with it at a beach. They have pretty much no instructions.
I feel like you need to dig a hole so that wau it gets a bite on the hard compressed sand
That would’ve helped. Even a trench so the front arm can be lower. It was a fun experiment.
TYPICAL! WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING DIRECTIONS!
lol. Because there literally aren’t any 😂
When you're not smart enough for the design 😂
lol. Living up to your name, I see.
The only thing I saw is this isn't how it's supposed to work
lol. Guilty as charged 😂
You are missing a pin.
Interesting, it came only with that. I will look into it. Thanks.
Need to get a shovel and dig a hole 3 feet down and throw that beech in the hole…
Trying to use it the way it’s supposed to work. 🎥
Fail. Thanks, just saved me $300.00au on that bit of junk. He drove out, that thing is useless, no matter how you cherry coat it. A BIG FAIL
Use it on recovery boards 😂

Thanks for dropping by and leaving feedback. Be safe!
What a joke. The truck wasn't buried at all and the truck wasn't pulling itself out.
