My brother died at 45, 5 years ago. But when he was alive I remember him walking around singing this song all the time.. Every time I hear this now, I think of him. To my brother Darren, I hope wherever you are......it's always sunny and 75!! Rest in peace buddy!! 💙

Listening to it right now. Dr told me a month ago I had maybe 2years. I remembered when I was locked up that song kept me alive. It might not keep me alive now but it helps me live while I can. I'm 44 so I can kinda understand.

In recent years, there's only a handful of country songs per year that I really connect with, but this is definitely one of them. It never gets old either....I could listen to it every day. Joe Nichols is the perfect vocalist too as it wouldn't have that special magic with a lesser vocalist. The lyrics and groove really bring back memories of a special girl I had some incredible summer moments with who is now gone forever....just a roller coaster of emotions.

I was that mama that worked 2 and 3 jobs while my husband drank and did drugs everyday off money he stole out of my purse when I was sleeping. i even had to pay a babysitter because he couldnt be trusted to watch our kids while I worked.
