I'm sitting here with the door wide open & there's a dozen lacewings flying around my living room. I grabbed one midflight. I opened my hand to let it go & there was a foul smell all of a sudden. I searched YT about lacewings & came to your beautiful video. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks.
I simply adore every living being on this planet. Insects, animals, plants...Unlike humans, they're all unbelievably beautiful and they all have amazing qualities. It's as if we humans are just visitors on this beautiful planet, who are committed to destroying it.
I love this video. These bugs are just beautiful and amazing. I know this video is from 2 years ago, but it's new to me. Thanks for making it and showing so much TLC to your tiny actor :)
My best friend and I were sitting on her back porch and a lacewing flew in from of my face, it looked like a fairy in the light! I fought it and he hung out on my hand forever. The iridescent wings had me mesmerized🥰
The flip brought me instant joy, lol. I love bugs! One of my kids has a love of spiders, but a surprising fear of flying insects. I'll show her this video, as I suspect it will ignite appreciation for them. Thanks!
Wow, just wow! I instantly had to re-watch it. That somersault was incredible, and I still can't get over the engineering of insects wings🤯 It's bug central in our garden (and the house) too. Bugs = happiness🦗💚😊 Another fantastic and atmospheric video!!👏🏼💥🥳
A beautiful video about a beautiful insect. Lacewings manage to reach the 5th floor and often fly into my kitchen. I've never experienced any bad smell, maybe because I always take them carefully by the wings. Lacewings are so nice and delicate. Didn't know they jump to fly. Where I live they are called "goldeyes" and I found this video searching for their name in English.
What a wonderful video 😊 I have just bought 1000 lacewing larvae to control aphids on my roses as I no longer want to use chemicals in the garden, I released them today and cannot wait until they become adults that will start breeding and leaving me so many more babies that will grow into more adults etc etc Thank you for your beautiful camera work showing me how absolutely gorgeous these little creatures are. I am looking forward to watching all your videos you have a friend for life from Liverpool UK ❤❤
I just came across to this amazing fly. It just flew by me as if it was more curious about me then i him. Listening and watching me. I found many interesting things about the lacewings totems, more intriguing it actually flip before it flies away. Awesome 👌 thank you. I love watching 👀 and now I know my plants are very actively bringing in interesting stuff. Thank you
I just bought some of these to help with some spider mites and other pests. After seeing this I’m so excited to see these little bugs flying around my garden! They’re so cool looking
Oh, thank you, I feel a little less alone in this world hearing your excitement about green lace wings. That front flip you caught was pure magic! I am a flower farmer, and I became enamored with them when I started scouting my garden for pests. One I had in my finger looked at me, and it was love. They're so freaking beautiful. I saw two adults, a larve and some eggs, today while not even looking. It's what's so exciting to find them. Thanks for this, instant subscribe.
Man that is amazing. He did a flip lol ❤. These are so pretty and so interesting. I found one on my fridge last night and I couldn't not put it in my grow tent lol . I've opened the doors a few times to air out the tent and it's not left. I think I'll get a flower or two for them to munch on though tomorrow. Just for if there's no pests around
as a kid i used to catch antlions and keep then in a bowl of sand in my room. somtimes id wake up to the green flies in my room lol byfar my favorite insect
That is an awesome video!! Please do more. We found a green lace wing this morning. All the other videos are too much info and my kids just wanted to experience this bug. And this was the perfect experience from flight to feeding, this was top!
Those dang bugs have been everywhere this year. They smell like mothballs and bite. Dunno why they just showed up outta nowhere this year but I'm not a fan 😢
Hope you are still watching for comments, I have a video that I would like your opinion on. Lacewing or an actual Fairy. Not a joke. Please get back to me. Sandra from Australia 🧚♂️🤞🤞

This is such a wholesome video, I love it.
It flies like it just discovered that it has wings by accident 😂. Really cool shots!

Brilliant! Beautiful!
Thanks Frank!
This is everything. Just the best. I’m humbled and refreshed by your pure soul!
Thanks so much!
That is incredible. Jumping then flying must be faster than simply flying by starting to flap its wings while standing on a surface. It's unreal.

Green lacewing does bite. Usually it feels like a mosquito.

I had a whole bunch in my apartment coming in through my bathroom window all in bathtub. I got no beef with them but stay out my house
Why are you so underrated?
Your creations serve to highlight the inescapable beauty of creation we’re immersed in. Great work.
Thank you!
No
Freakin awesome
god this video is underrated
Cute one
Thanks for watching!
What did you feed the lacewing
Captured four lacewings in my truck. Beautiful insects, but they stink. My fingers smelled like I handled poop.
If you don't want to buy on Amazon call into RinconVitova Insectaries! They also have tons of other stuff!
Thanks! I'd definitely prefer supporting a smaller business.
My niece calls them lacee-wings.
Maybe we should change the name to a Lacewing Fairy Bug. It really looked like a Fairy with its four wings out
are they mistaken for fairies
Wait those r adult Ant lions right?
Absolutely breathtaking! You have a new sub from r/plantclinic 🙂
Thanks Leslie!
ya tickled his bum and he flipped out lmao

Nick, You can tell the difference betwixt a lacewings gender by their size, Females are slightly larger, other than that you can't tell them apart
Thanks John! I was wondering about that.
😂❤
Hope you are still watching for comments, I have a video that I would like your opinion on. Lacewing or an actual Fairy. Not a joke. Please get back to me. Sandra from Australia 🧚♂️🤞🤞
Hi Sandra, I looked for your video but could not find it.
I gotta say, its more than a "little" stink. these things smell nasty
I feel bad that I hit them, but there so annoying at our late night bbqs.and they stink. But they look harmless
