- RHETORIC 2013 was an amazing poetry event where over 3100 people were blessed by three hours of inspiring, creative, edifying spoken word.

Check out Just God by Ezekiel. He helps us see that despite unfortunate circumstances, even the most horrible, God is beyond fair because he uses tests as testimonies.

I'm not sure if the audience really got it. this poem was incredibly deep, absolutely brilliant lyrics.

Bryson Perry I think they did but it's a type of poetry that makes people silent, like how some deep sermons leave people speechless. Many, if not all, could relate or went through a similar situation and when someone you have never told your story is perfectly explaining your story, it's almost inevitable to not be quiet.

This poem is insane!!! I love this poem, it hit me from every corner!
Wow! This touched my soul. It took me 34 years to get over my uncle's "english lessons". i didn't understand how..why God would let those things happen. I used to say I'd rather go to hell than spend eternity in Heaven with pedophiles. I didn't understand. BUT once I did. once I got it and understood that I can't see others' hearts, that is when I started my walk with Jesus! This was beautiful!

Ezekiel ministers to my heart...I am always moved by his ministry. I pray he continues on his walk and is strengthened everyday. Would love to meet him one day...the conversation would go something like this:

As I listen,.....there is healing experience. Not alone in the struggle, through that meant to destroy,...my Lord uses to restore more and more, my appreciation for the gift of spoken word!

The first time I watched this video I didn't really get anything out of it, and now that I'm watching it again it's like seeing it for the firs time. This really spoke to me. God is amazing the way he uses ordinary people to speak incredible words of power.
OMG, I literally had to pause the video to selah (think about it), I let it marinate, and continued the video. He dropped so much truth it was pleasantly overwhelming, that was spirit-breathed and creative, only God can inspire you in this way. Keep it up, I love P4CM poets!

WOW! Can I just echo the praises of God after reading through some of these comments and listening to this spoken word! What a reminder that God made us for so much more! Our stories can be used for His glory!
I was sitting hear with tears streaming down my face this moved my heart mind soul spirit I really felt like my spirit lifted from my body for a moment, praise God, whom I am never ceased at amazement at the gifts he gives and uses in amazing people like this amazing man, Ezekiel! Been In a Gang, never did dope but I sold it to feed my family. And I never told me John Davis that I am sorry for putting me in the Devils house.. I use to say that the Devil is my Father because how I lived my life In the streets. Now I'm saying all this to say, God made a way out of no way for me, And I still as God why am I still here, when I don't wanna be..
