Personally I hate when people say it's just hair. I had cancer a few years ago and lost my hair eventually. And I know it's a different situation but it still applies because that is the one thing that you should always be able to control and when it's taken away from you, especially if you don't like it, it can be difficult to deal with. I struggled so bad and waited for the longest time to finally shave my head and almost cried when I looked in the mirror

I know "it's just hair" but it was traumatic for me. It's not " just hair" when the choice is taken from you and you're left broken from it. I hope you're doing well now and are in total remission. 6/16 is my 3yr marking the end of chemo (started Radiation a month later). Blessings to you fellow fighter ✳️❤️🎗️

I take a low dose of methotrexate for psoriatic arthritis, and I've had issues with hair fall among all the other side effects I've gotten with the treatment but nothing as severe as If I got full on chemo and I can't even imagine myself in that scenario. I would understand your sentiment if you were at least consistent with your treatment of the models.
On one hand, yea I agree they signed up for this, so they know they'll get a makeover. BUT on the other hand, I can at least understand people's perspective about losing/modifying their hair. It can litterally change an appearance on someone, and depending on the stylist, one bad haircut is something you live with for a WHILE. No empathy for women cutting their hair, but God forbid if a hot male model cuts it and cries a little. It's great that they pull through, but the judges should let them choose the style, so it's not a secret.
Summary: yea, hair will grow back naturally, but a bad hair style will never actually grow on you.
Personally I hate when people say it's just hair. I had cancer a few years ago and lost my hair eventually. And I know it's a different situation but it still applies because that is the one thing that you should always be able to control and when it's taken away from you, especially if you don't like it, it can be difficult to deal with. I struggled so bad and waited for the longest time to finally shave my head and almost cried when I looked in the mirror

I agree with you. I had cancer 3yrs ago and when I started puking chunks of hair from my head I decided to shave it. I sobbed while my husband shaved it all off... I know "it's just hair" but it was traumatic for me. It's not " just hair" when the choice is taken from you and you're left broken from it. I hope you're doing well now and are in total remission. 6/16 is my 3yr marking the end of chemo (started Radiation a month later). Blessings to you fellow fighter ✳️❤️🎗️

I will officially be 6 years cancer free 8/16 which is when I received a stem cell transplant. It feels like it has been so long ago and at the same time like it was just yesterday. You will be in my prayers to stay healthy. 💛💛
@@stephy8486 You guys are warriors. I take a low dose of methotrexate for psoriatic arthritis, and I've had issues with hair fall among all the other side effects I've gotten with the treatment but nothing as severe as If I got full on chemo and I can't even imagine myself in that scenario.
Definitely made me take better care of my hair though and now the fall out has gotten much better

I was even told things when my hair was growing back because people liked it short and couldn't understand why I wanted to grow it out so bad (1. to be back to "normal" and 2. because I had decided that I am going to donate it every few years). They don't understand what it's like to have such a simple normal be taken away.

Yeah, I think the blonde looks like it's unfinished and needs another session of highlights/toning/bleaching. I went through that stage and didn't feel truly blonde until I got it retouched

I feel like with Brad his preference for blonde is more of a “the grass is always greener on the other side” situation. He’s a brunette so I think, since blonde is more novel to him, he finds going blonde more exciting. I sincerely doubt he means for any of it to come off as “dark hair is bad”. I have blonde hair but for the vast majority of my life, since I was very young, I was so jealous of people with dark hair (I felt like being blonde gave people the impression that you were an airhead lol). Along the the same vein, I also have curly hair and I hated it for YEARS and woke up early to FRY it straight before school.
