I have to quit clicking on these videos. I keep getting stuck in a negativity loops. I don't like Tom, his wife, or bert, and I especially don't feel that they are funny people. Clicking on these videos gives me a temporary feeling of "I'm not crazy, people agree that this is garbage" but in actuality it just puts all of their names into "the algorithm" and I end up having to scroll past their content more often. Better to just avoid anything even talking about them and let them lose their base naturally.

I've never listened to an episode but I see she gets an insane amount of hate on instagram for "not being a comedian" - Neither is danny brown who has the best podcast on the YHM network, neither is dr drew, neither are the kids from the sopranos. I think it's more than likely tom wanting more hosts to cover more styles of podcasts and a bimbo is going to get clicks. I don't think it's deeper than that personally

I agree, tom needs to split the shows into channels because for instance I absolutely loved the Danny Brown show in his earlier episodes before he got off the xans but I couldn't subscribe to YMH to know when a new Danny episode came out because there was so much other stuff coming through the feed and a lot of it is really weird and disturbing stuff that Tom loves but I really hate.

Something that Mike from Redbar has really opened my eyes about is that comedy does, generally, suck. Even the best comics sometimes are just meh. So, Lauren's Compton's comedy really wasn't any worse than most comedy out there.
Comedy sucks on TV. Just isn't worth watching alone in your room in the dark. Might get some laughs, but when you're at a show for a comedian, the energy in the room takes that up a notch and even the dumbest jokes turn out to be pretty funny.

I’ve never seen her standup before (yikes) but I think she is a good interviewer. Beyond her looks I genuinely find her interview style entertaining and think she’s good at creating conversational chemistry with her guests.
