Dude he’s already is the best comedian… Who is better? I know Chappelle is still around but I feel like Shane Gillis and Mark Normand are the next era of comedians after Carlin/Chapelle/Louis Ck
There's something to be said about the fact that the more accessible Shane becomes (his relationship dynamic with McCusker, Phil, his Mom, his sister, etc.) the more we like him and see his authenticity. The more we see of Bert and his relationship dynamic with his wife and kids the more we feel bad for them and loathe him for his absolute inability to think of anyone but himself. To add, we see the way they have grown and developed with mutual friends, ie, Mark Normand, Theo, and we can all see what effect each of them has on those guys and Bert makes everyone who is even remotely grounded and real, totally uncomfortable. Or he becomes such an easy target he demands that they go against their own authenticity in NOT ripping on him in this sort of coerced way in which they're forced to protect Bert from himself and their own insults just because Bert moves with an air of almost threatening fame currency. Dude just brings people down lol. Great analysis and great vid! Gotta sub from me!
Yea. I saw an old clip of Bert on a podcast literally crying about how much of an absent father he's been. And most of the comments were "Oh, he's such a good dad, he loves his kids so much!". I was like "are we listening to the same thing?" He's sold his soul to be in the cool kids club. He has millions. He could quit right now and not be an absent father... but getting to go to the cool kid parties, and be a raging alcoholic, is more important than being there for his kids. I get if someone has to work 60 hours per week to support their family, and doesn't get to see their kids as much. That's a father sacrificing to provide. But when you have millions, and you continue to do it anyway... Now you're just putting more money/influence/partying or whatever "benefit" you get from it over your family.
@@MansterBear 100%. He knew he was smarter than anyone there, or in the media so he knew how to perfectly handle it.

Shane is the perfect example of the right person becoming famous at the right time (Matt should fit in there aswell). Working class kids that have life experience before they even looked at fame and entertainment. So many people get famous young, or were brought up surrounded by fame and it shapes a lot of their personality, or get famous for the wrong reasons like a select few short clips that blew up (and the rest of their shtick being mediocre). That Target clip of Bert not even being able to tell a simple joke is a classic. It’s a summary of his phoniness on film.

Yea. I saw an old clip of Bert on a podcast literally crying about how much of an absent father he's been. And most of the comments were "Oh, he's such a good dad, he loves his kids so much!". I was like "are we listening to the same thing?"
He's sold his soul to be in the cool kids club.
Good one
Nice to see a boy with downs accomplish so much
Btw idk how the fuck u sit through listening to Bert for that amount of time. U deserve every sub. Clicking the button soon as I hit send on this 50th comment. Lmao.
I love Shane's ability to call out anybody in the moment at any given time and push them to stand on what they said. You can just see the gears turn in his head sometimes when somebody says something weird and you know in about 30 seconds he's gonna go "...now hold on."
That machine joke to the kids was hilarious and Bert doesnt even know why 😂😂
Lol, posting an emotional heart to heart with your father as ‘content’ is about as cringe as it gets
Yikes. I first saw it when AS did that first Ted talk about comedy. He likes that stage a bit too much.
Andrew is a cornball
I dont think it is. He's worked his as off to get where he is, he is about to have the biggest moment of his life and now he has a very special moment with his dad saved for ever with his legacy.
Same shit with wedding videos and that. Just saving a special moment.
@@travisspicer3271Still gay
@@JacobTreverson now i never said it wasn't gay
Lmfao I thought you added Clare du lune to that clip as a joke, but no, schultz actually put that over that corny moment 😂 🤣
Watching Bert try and fail to come up with anything close to a joke immediately after claiming to be a comedian is funnier than any joke he's ever come up with lol. You'd think with that massive comedic brain of his he would have been able to come up with something, instead he desperately just falls back to his bread and butter Machine story. A true master of the art.
That says it all huh 😂
He is the WORST
Bert should have responded with "I'm not that kind of comedian."
I like when my mom goes on vacation because then i get to sleep on her side of the bed. -William Montgomery
He makes more money than you
Still makes me laugh that Shultz was so impressed with Shane reading a very famous American author. That’s like being impressed by someone watching a classic John Huston film
Schulz is easily impressed by the mere mention of anything to do with taste or refinement. Probably has no idea who John Houston is. Dolt
Who the fuck is John Huston ?
He's trying to put Shane "back" in his place by trying to prove he's just as phony as him, but Shane seems like a decent honest man. It baffles them that the money and fame hasn't changed him.
How old are you? Lmao
@@user-dx2dm8oq8ghit the nail on the head. Trying to make him look like a fake intellectual when in reality Shane just genuinely loves history. The man would go visit Gettysburg regularly like an autist just because he loves the battles lmao. He legit lives Ulysses S Grant.
0:15 thats such a lie
This definitely did not happen.
It's totally a lie
Yeah the fact 😂😂 I mean its just so funny it sounds like such bullshit The MANAGER WOULD OF HAD NO IDEA
They are so LA corrupted they can’t even conceptualize a person being an authentic and genuine human being😭 4:00
I think Bert is starting to realize these new faces are going to take his spot so he is inserting himself anyway he can into there success. You covered it perfectly.
That Target clip of Bert not even being able to tell a simple joke is a classic. It’s a summary of his phoniness on film. I mean, his daughters were likely the same ages as those kids at that time and - being a world-wide arena sellout comedian, as he has described himself, he can’t even tell a simple joke to those kids. Hilarious 😂
I’m not a comedian and I couldn’t come up with something off the top of my head. (Maybe that means Burt isn’t a comedian either?)
He sells out arenas?? 🫠
I felt the same way. He kept saying I’m a comedian but couldn’t even come up with a simple joke. Come on, man.
That is because most people don't wanna perform on the spot for your amusement like a trained monkey. Is like I am funny, yet anytime someone has been all like tell me joke, I'm like, "humor has to flow naturally, not this on the spot shit."
Yall have the right not to like the man but to say he isn't a comedian or to say he isn't funny because he didn't make a joke in target for some random kid is ridiculous.
Perhaps he was in a different headspace and wasn't in a talking mood. For example, what if he just got into an argument with his wife or maybe he needed to take a painful shjt. Sometimes people just don't want to chit chat.
People can't complain that Bret isn't authentic then clown him when he acts like a normal person.
With that being said, I agree Bart is a bit artificial and I found this target scenario quite refreshing. Honestly, I wish Brent acted like that more often
Nick Mullen and Gillis really need to do more together.
Top 2 specials recently too. Agreed
If you ever needed proof that Bert Kreischer is not a comedian, just rewatch that clip of the kid in Target asking him to tell a joke.
Hes more of a comedian that you are a happy person. Get upset about it
@@Getupset Quit drinking Bert, everyone can see you have a problem.
He doesnt have jokes for little kids what is your point.
@@zeroa69 He doesn't have jokes for adults neither.
I can't get enough of Shane ,he's hilarious. The Gully and Keeves skits are hilarious and Shane just seems likable .
So fortunate SNL didn't get him 😅
Shane is a comedian that does podcasts. Bert, is now a podcaster trying to be a comedian
And Bert sucks at both!!!
@@michaelturley3457 I’m gonna be honest. I never thought Bert was funny. Even his machine story sucks. I honestly see no reason why anyone likes watching him
They are definitely doing something wrong... 2 bears and YMH used to get millions of views. Now they are luckily if they break 500,000 views.
incredibly detailed and well thought out takes. great video keep you got a fan out of me
That’s awesome man, glad to have you
shane gillis' ability to network in both circles is so much simpler than all that. he's just a chill dude. chill dudes don't make trouble. he'll be fine... ❤
