I would like to see a 40k movie with his imagination, in his vision and storytelling, in either high budget acting movie or anime. Just from stories already here you could make an endless 40k saga. Even from the point of different species.
But movies are insanely complex, a lot of moving parts, different characters, technology, thoughts, ideas and egos battling.. Basicly if you could find competent people here who are already fans and who know various jobs involved really well, there would be a chance of "showing not telling" caliber we would like to see and have seen in our minds eye..
He is a magnificent orator and storyteller with already a rather large opus. Don't make old Baldemort here to over extend himself, but if it could work like an orchestra, where all involved already know how the grand vision is supposed to feel, look, sound etc, and he just puts finishes touches with his directing, then yeah. i am sure it would be amaizing.

Imperial Guard has way more experience in the TAU in warfare knowledge matter in war.
Tau seem to learn fast though. Wouldn't write them off just yet. I mean, where's the Imperium's railguns?
Even as a Tau player myself this is my favourite series of yours.

It's closer to a oligarchy cast system really, as there isn't a political party in control, nor is there movement from one cast to another. They also don't see all people as expendables or worthless, no matter the race or cast.
In all accounts the Imperium of man is closer to communist than Tau really, as they have political officers, political parties and a dictator too.
You guys may still come out on top, even if you haven’t gotten as much time in spotlight

@@-JustHuman- The imperium is theological authoritarianism. It's not a planned economy. Which is central to communism. So it's not exactly communism as capitalism exists and is thriving. It's not fascist as the corporations aren't run by the Imperium. Theological monarchy with a capitalist economy is the imperium. Meanwhile with the Tau. They are collectivist. Not sure what thier economy is. Due to communists being collectivists irl in the modern day. It does resemble 21st century communism, without the political based Ideology. The Ideology of the Tau is more social and caste system based. I would argue that the Eldar are communists.
My story: 2001 I think, year 8 in secondary school. My mate really wanted to introduce me to 40k but didn't really know the right approach. Funny enough it was around the time the Tau was introduced to the beautiful hobby. Since he knew I watched anime back when I was still wearing nappies, he assumed Tau would appeal to me (I mean that was the point, their first codex saying they took inspiration from mecha anime). My friend showed me the models in the white dwarf magazine, let me borrow the novel Fire War and then the videogame of same name when he completed it.
So at the start I was an avid Tau fan.
Years past, got to college (2006 I think) and I retired from anything 40k. Came back to the hobby, year 2011 but this time mailing the Imperial Guard!
Left again at 2014, life got busy and poor.
Came back 2018 after getting my heart broken (really really badly) and came across a new servant named Baldermort who happily started bombarding me with lore. 40k felt like a welcomed distraction from my sad emotions. Now waving the banners of Blood Angels and the Necrons!
But at the end of the day: I still like Tau, they look cool. "They look out of place, yuck!"
No friend they look *alien!*
Aye I had a huge gap for wine women song and then kids. But warhammer is something you can just return to easily.

Also "the stench was so bad it was practically chewy" is a great line.
I need to get some Gue'vesa once my Homebrew Sept and Imperial Fists are all painted.
This is a fun storyline for the various topics they were attached to

Loving the double narrative! Hearing the gavasa speak about how the tau saved their planet is very moving.
Funny how they were kinda hypocritical though. Kroot and their hounds they ride into battle, vs the rough riders of the imperium. Exact same thing, and yet... they have no problems with their kroot allies, but a large problem with other humans on horseback.
This storyline always felt like some russian tankers on the eastern front of WW2. Fantastic stuff!

My friend Baldermort you have a singular talent for making a faction, force, unit, or vehicle lovable. No matter who or what you are discussing at a given moment, I find myself sympathizing with them. I find myself taking pleasure in their victory and pain in their loss. This video is a particularly excellent example. One moment I'm overjoyed as the Baneblade is saved and the hated enemy roasted alive. The next I am lamenting the depravity of mankind and hoping for a more enlightened race to win the day. From moment to moment I change whom I am rooting for based on your phenomenal narration. Listening to a Tau-aligned human deride the Imperium is funny, which pushes into full-bore hilarity when the disgust boils into shock and horror.
I always like to think any Imperial-T'au diplomacy settles into the blues questioning and deriding the Imperium and it's apparent insanity -- and an Imperial diplomat or agent smiling tiredly back and replying, "If only you knew how bad things really are."
I love this ive got a few friends in the army who all love warhammer and one of them is part of a tank crew himself we listend to this and after it brought on story after story of his. He said your really captured the feeling you have as a crew together the playful focus he callsit, the having a laugh to get the hard job done. Amazing as always keep up the great work cant wait for the next part

As you know Brother Baldermort things were crazy for my lads and I this year but in the end we used the Grim Darkness to escape what we have been through. I posted on a previous video, I am rather new to the lore and depth of the WH40k universe. But I have been quite taken in by its gritty no holds barred constant struggles for survival and dominance in the fields of battle spanning centuries and entire star systems....
I have come to greatly enjoy your videos, as you are a grand story teller, a Bard whom has entranced me if you will... This tale of the Tankers and Tau, it is one I have come to greatly enjoy and I eagerly await its continuation.
