I’m doing an entire engine swap on my 03 sv1000, guy ran it out of oil, this video helped a lot man thanks
I just got a sv1000, and found this dude. 100% informative I love it And that crankshaft stool is cool LOL
Wow what a Design! Not a whole hell of a lot of room in there. Good to mark the harness and cables like that. Sometimes it's a few before getting things back together after repairs/cleaning.
Nice to see you more out and doing a bit more mechanicky stuff. Looks like a good series
Good tips on those fracking connectors. Thanks.
I have seen a shite on the end! Zoom out!!! LOL
How on earth did you get the throttle bodies out this easily? I am damn near lifting my SV up by them and they won't budge lol. Disconnected everything as shown in the video and they won't budge!
Have you undone the clamps as far as they'll go?
@@dirtygarageguy yes! I backed the screw all the way out to the end of the threads on both of the clamps. Even sprayed a little wd40 in the rubber boots hoping it'd help a bit and they're not going anywhere lol. I can wiggle the TB's side to side laterally less than 2mm each way, but I cannot get them to come up/out whatsoever. If I could just get one of them out I feel like I'd be able to lever the other one out but I can't even get to that point lol.
I love this dude.
15:56 - The 2 small pipes with the plugs next to the intake pressure sensor line, are ports for the TB syncronisation you're gonna do when reassembling the bike... :)
Another good thing about a long screwdriver is you have less chance of cross threading a screw cause you have more of a line to eye up😁
Love the crankshaft table stand is it CNCed????😂
LOL - its a stool
Matt, dont you have a shed/garage/mancave or anything to work in and get out of that gawdawful english weather? Maybe more donations might help?
Nice table or stool you got there..
Have to remove the thermostate and was afraid of taking off the throttle bodies... until now😊
I'd buy a shirt, brosephus
its a paper towel also when your poking around in the throttle bodies with screwdriver you probably smashed the ceramic trill valves or damage the flux coils .... 4.5 valve per piston set ups can be hard to spot on these v twins many neglect that extra valve
I'm lost - what?
thought so
Well that comment above is just a load of dribble....
@@dirtygarageguy the flux coils power the flux capacitor. you need to reach 88 miles per hour for them to kick in.
I'm not even going to bother with that song......shit a chicken.....(whatever that means). I love it that people are playing my game now.....lol. You need to tell me how much I need to send you so you can send the winner a shirt. I think it should last 6 weeks....then announce the winner.
First ?
Second?
9/11?
