It would be woderful if these revealing videos were in Spanish, too. There is lot to do here in Chile where most of churches are completely blind of what is going on in other parts of the globe concerning this cornestone teaching. only some of us understand English to spread the truth. There's been a lot of endoctrinating campaigns against anyone who seems to believe anything different of what is not the established in the fundamental beliefs declaration. so when challenging them you are almost immediately under suspicion of heresy or antiadventism. God our Holy Father help us have the courage and wisdom given by Jesus Christ through his Spririt to continue preaching the true gospel.

The video was good until 6:53 when you started quoting Tertulian. He is the one who came up with the "Threeness" thing which led to the Trinity. Because of quoting Tertulian you had to explain that begotten does not mean created. I think that Tertulian was confused about the true teaching of God.
(For those who criticise this teaching) Jesus was born, in relation to a father (begotten), not created. If you contrast Prov8:22 with John1:3 you will see that Jesus was begotten before God created so the 2 words are not the same.

    • @FatherofLoveFellowship
      @FatherofLoveFellowship  8 лет назад +2

Yes, Andrew, you are exactly right. Begotten and created are quite different. Adam understood the meaning of "begotten" as one who is bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. A creation is made from materials other than one's self. Tertulian was indeed confused and our quoting him is not an endorsement of all he taught. It is cited only as evidence that the begotten belief persisted in some of what he wrote even into the third century.

Using 1 John 5:20 @ the 1:37 mark of this video it is stated:
"The Father and Son are 'the true God and eternal life'" as if BOTH are the "TRUE God".
However, the "true God" of this verse is referring to the Father ONLY.
The possessive pronoun "his" in the phrase "his Son" in this verse references the pronoun and antecedent "him" in the phrase "him (singular) that is TRUE" which can ONLY refer to the Father as the "TRUE God"

    • @FatherofLoveFellowship
      @FatherofLoveFellowship  7 лет назад +2

Correct. The statement is intended to be applied respectively. The Father and then the Son are respectively the true God and then "that eternal life which was with the Father" 1John 1:2.

    • @truthforjeaus9909
      @truthforjeaus9909 6 лет назад

Gary Traversy there's no father without son and there is no son without father
U only can be called father if u have children, when u r a male. other wise u r just a male and human, did God became a father? Or He has always been a father? but with God This is not so, Remember God is God and He Cannot Change , So God is always a father, The "word " was in The mouth of God would one day became The only Begotten Son of God. God spake , by the word of His mouth we understood that the world was made, for he spake and it was done, He commandeth and it stood fast, by the word of the Lord were the heavens made and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth Psalm 33 :6
And 1st Timothy chapter 3: 16 says great is the mystery, of Godliness so it's also a mystery for God to become man, and the verse said it is without controversy. So to try to iron it out completely man will err , because when u think u finally get it u still cannot attain to the knowledge of a infinite God. It will take eternity for us to attain the smallest detail, The Prophet Isaiah ask can man by searching find out God ? Is paths is pass finding out. God reveals himself to us in a simple manner where by we can come to know him, we see him in
His Son and in his word,
"The Son and the father is from eternity There was never a time when the word of God was not in his Mouth, we cannot separate God from his word, and that is why theres nothing new under the sun, before our world was made, God and his Word dwell in light un approachable, The thing is, In their eternal glory he who now became son, was in existence as the "word " Revelation 19: 13. U cant separate God from his word. God sees himself as father because He is the beginning and end of all things because he is the first and the last, He is the Cosumation of all things. He foreknew that sin would enter our world when He created beings such as Us on one of his planet called "earth," because He is the beginning all things existed in him. So there was not a time in eternity that "GOD" WAS Without his "WORD" THEY HAVE been together forever as One Before we came into being. He the son is called the "WORD " OF GOD. When the word became incarnet, flesh, a name was given so human could identify with him, so He got the name Jesus that's what the Angel said we should call him.
In English his name is JESUS.
Now this has always been in the mind of "God" because He is All knowing, He knew that when He created our world through His"word" that his "Word" would later became Flesh, and that humans were going to have a problem understanding this. So he gave us the written word which is the bible, and the living word which is Jesus himself in whom there is life Un borrowed and underived the "word " himself is life,
the word was not created because the word was always in the Mouth of God, and if the word came out of God's mouth the word cannot be anything else but "God " when he took on flesh.
SO the "WORD has a Form He became like one of us.
We know God not only by his name but by his Character.
What I gather from all the scriptures that speaks about this Mystery, "God" became man "God " who exist out of time and space ? our English word called it "ETERNITY " He knew
His "WORD" that has always been with him would one day be mistreated, and that's why Jesus said to the Father while he was on earth, Jesus says FATHER Glorify thy Son with the Glory I had with you from the beginning, what beginning is this he was talking about? I believe it WAS from eternity pass. God Fore knew his "Word " would go forth and became Flesh .
WHEN HE THROUGH HIS WORD CREATED OUR WORLD, God Fore knew that when He created human They would, Sin. Sin did "NOT " Caught God by surprise. And this is the only reason why The "word "Jesus came, Otherwise These beings God and his Word would rule The Universe Supremely, It's because of Sin That He Became Sin for us. FOR THERE WAS NEVER A TIME IN ETERNITY WHERE "GOD'S"
" WORD " WAS NOT WITH HIM JOHN 1: 1
IN ETERNITY WHERE GOD DWELL, GOD'S WORD HAS ALWAYS BEEN WITH HIM. The word existed IS God Himself.. BUT HE TOOK UPON HIMSELF THE FORM OF A HUMBLE SERVANT PHILIPPIANS CHAPTER 2:7 How comes we use these words when we refer to the word,------- who , he, Him and his?
The word of God says The secret thing belong to God, so I know the half has never been told...
All the best my brother. May God bless you.

Gary Traversy God is making himself plain to US that he is the true God not because Jesus Christ is not true God but because there are many false gods I believe it's in this context He spake, because Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life no man cometh to the Father without Him Jesus, and the scriptures does not contradict scriptures.

The nature of the Holy Spirit is a mystery. Men cannot explain it,
because the Lord has not revealed it to them. Men having fanciful views
may bring together passages of Scripture and put a human construction on
them, but the acceptance of these views will not strengthen the church.
Regarding such mysteries, which are too deep for human understanding,
    silence is golden. {AA 52.1}
Thank you Talking Rock Sabbath Chapel for challenging my faith regarding this subject because I never knew the difference between the Trinity and the Godhead
I will never use again the word Trinity but use Godhead
The catholic have a bad connotation regarding the Trinity (occult
symbols or occult meaning) but people cannot excluded the evidence of
the Holy Spirit working as an entity working for the salvation of men.
Excluding the fact that the Holy Spirit makes decision also according to
    the Godhead will be false.
"Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in scripture. But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas, as the Trinity, for which there is no such precise authority in the Gospels." (Graham Greene, [celebrated Catholic Author], Life Magazine, 30 Oct. 1950
"As fundamental errors, we might class with this counterfeit sabbath other errors which Protestants have brought away from the Catholic
Church, such as sprinkling for baptism, the TRINITY, the conciousness of the dead and eternal life in misery. The mass who have held these fundamental errors,
have doubtless done it ignorantly; but can it be supposed that the church of Christ will carry along with her these errors till the judgement scenes
burst upon the world? We think not." (James White, Review and Herald, Sept. 12, 1854, vol. 6, no. 5, page 36, par. 8)
James Whites had problem with the word Trinity and what it emplies but not with the Godhead doctrine.
but from my own research The Holy Spirit is still call The Third Person
    As for the Godhead,
yes. I believe in ONE God: three co-eternal persons- Father, Son and
the Holy Spirit. The Father and Son are undeniable, but it is with the
Holy Spirit that things get tricky for people, but we have to remember
that Christ came to reveal the Father, and the Holy Spirit reveals
Christ but as for the Holy Spirit, His personality is not revealed and
can not be comprehended (thus far at lest). We know His office-work but
as for the details of His personality we do not. Because that is so
folks deny the Holy Spirit as a part of the Godhead, but He is verily a person and part of the Godhead.
    1. The Spirit can distribute talents and gifts
    1 Corinthians 12:11
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
    2. The Spirit has to be known and accepted
    Acts 19:2
2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
    3. The Spirit came upon Mary and the Father overshadow her
    Luke 1:35
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
    4. The Spirit conceived Jesus the man
    Matthew 1:18-20
    18 Now
the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was
espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child
    of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
    4. The Spirit don't accept blasphemy against him but against the Son can be forgiven
    Matthew 12:31-32 [Full Chapter]
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven
him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be
forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
The Spirit was to be given as a regenerating agent, and without this the
sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail. The power of evil had
been strengthening for centuries, and the submission of men to this
satanic captivity was amazing. Sin could be resisted and overcome only
through the mighty agency of the Third Person of the Godhead,
who would come with no modified energy, but in the fullness of divine
power. It is the Spirit that makes effectual what has been wrought out
    by the world’s Redeemer. {DA 671.2}
Sin could be resisted and overcome only
through the mighty agency of the THIRD PERSON OF THE GODHEAD
    Romans 1:20
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are
clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
    Colossians 2:9
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
    Acts 17:29
Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

The Acts of the Apostles - egw
    The office of the Holy Spirit is distinctly specified in the words of Christ: “When He is come, He will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” John 16:8. It is the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin. If the sinner responds to the quickening influence of the Spirit, he will be brought to repentance and aroused to the importance of obeying the divine requirements. {AA 52.2}
The Acts of the Apostles - egw
From the beginning, God has been working by His Holy Spirit
through human instrumentalities for the accomplishment of His purpose
in behalf of the fallen race. This was manifest in the lives of the
patriarchs. To the church in the wilderness also, in the time of Moses,
God gave His “good Spirit to instruct them.” Nehemiah 9:20. And in the days of the apostles He wrought mightily for His church through the agency of the Holy Spirit.
The same power that sustained the patriarchs, that gave Caleb and
Joshua faith and courage, and that made the work of the apostolic church
effective, has upheld God’s faithful children in every succeeding age. It was through the power of the Holy Spirit that during the Dark Ages the Waldensian Christians helped to prepare the way for the Reformation.
It was the same power that made successful the efforts of the noble men
and women who pioneered the way for the establishment of modern
missions and for the translation of the Bible into the languages and
    dialects of all nations and peoples. {AA 53.1}

@@Your_Best_SelfThe Godhead is 3are1 vs the Trinity is 3in1 in one body...That title Trinity is a deformity and it's causing division in the church. The Godhead: THREE AGREE IN ONE. according to 1 John 5:7-8
The Battle is spiritual formation...... Trinity and anti-trinitarian are
the same thing.... same deception from Rome....Now people are praying directly to the Spirit instead of going to Christ and the Father first. No where in the Bible people are praying or singing to the Spirit that's new age/spiritual exercises
      1 John 5:7-8
[7]For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
[8]And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these THREE AGREE IN ONE.
One essence is Consubstantial. 3 faces in 1 body:
      images.app.goo.gl/N2W2FSp16PdRL1bU6
      The TRINITY’S many definitions:
“Expressions which contain the statement that the Son was created are found in Clement of
      Alexandria
(Strom, Tatian, Tertullian, Origen . . .)’ (The Catholic Encycopedia, 1914 Edition, art. “The
      Blessed Trinity”).
“The Son proceeds from the Father by generation (and generation means the process of begetting
offspring, reproduction, or giving birth to)...” The
Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, p 31 by
Peter Geiermann, C.SS.R., Imprimatur - September
      16, 1957.
The Son proceeds from the Father by an act of the intellect and
this is termed ‘eternal generation,’ by which we mean not only
that there never was a time when the Father existed without
generating the Son, but also that the act of generation is a
continuous act. [the instruction in this Catholic manual also
teaches THAT THERE COULD HAVE BEEN NO SEPARATION BETWEEN THE FATHER AND THE
SON WHILE HE WAS HERE ON EARTH, since this would interrupt the process of regeneration. The son could not exist in such a case, nor the Father, since they are of one essence].
(Alfred Mortimer, Catholic Faith and Practice - Catholic
      instruction manual for confirmation).
If God is 3 in 1 instead 3 are 1 we need to ask these questions below 👇
      - SAVIOR - Did God pay for the price of sin personally?
      - LOVE - If God is LOVE, before all of creation who did He Love?
      - DIVINITY - Can Divinity be created or have a beginning?

      @@144mille Greek monos → Latin unicus → English "only"Greek monogenes → Latin unigenitus → English "only-begotten"
Its definition means only kind or uniqueness in class.
Now I do agree that there is a lot of backlash and back and forth don't understanding especially around the word Trinity. But I will be lying to you if the scriptures then at least hint at it. Or maybe you can help me understand for instance in Exodus 3:14 - And God said unto Moses, “I Am That I Am.” And He said, “Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, ‘I Am hath sent me unto you.’”
John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
The Pharisees reaction throughout scriptures it's kind of telling like in John 5:18 ."For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God."
Before the use of persons I believe originally personas. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Kind of like how God can be a form of a cloud leading Israel or him being a burning bush before Moses. If God can wrap himself with fire or clouds well still operating in heaven I'm sure he can do that with flesh.
